Tyler, since you liked the Attacking Zegeta video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0R9TphRi0v0

I actually think this one is a lot funnier than the Zegeta guy. He irritated me much more.

Ugh I fucking hate ebay. Every time I sell something on it I run into issues with buyers. Starting to question if the few bucks I bring in selling random codes is even worth the headache anymore. Every damn time I get super annoying or weird buyers.
IA selling review codes confirmed! Kidding.

I have a well established ebay profile with hundreds of feedback for both selling and buying and still have yet to run into issues on my side selling. I've ran into one issue buying a game cartridge that had a kids name written large on the back without any mention in the desc or picture in which I simply returned it. I guess I'm lucky, but I love ebay.

Gotta admit, as fun as Rocket League is, I really miss the unique arenas that the original had. Every arena in the new game is exactly the same. Some slightly different designs would have been awesome. Maybe they'll show up as DLC or something.

They changed the pawn laws or somethibg over here. I had to sign some extra forms and stamp my fingerprint at gamestop for the first time ever when trading a game. Best buy always had the fingerprint, but at least their shit was electronic.

Did the fact that she was bisexual just come up in casual conversation?
I wish. Instead she's in to my (straight) stepdaughter and they work together and hang out a lot and I suspect my stepdaughter is a bit of a confused tease which has created way too many annoying late night teenage+adult drama-laden "conversations".

As I said. Terrible game. Cause I am terrible.

Am I setting myself up for missing out on tropheez if I'm not getting started playing online while it's active? I haven't even looked at the list yet so I'm not sure what it entails. I realize I'm missing out on tons of fun with the super best friends, hopefully you guys aren't all done with it this week.

Its just a grind to get all the items. You can do it offline, but that will be super boring. There are still a lot of people who need to play a while. I can join anytime anyone needs to even the teams too. Its a lot of fun playing 2v2 3v3 or 4v4 as long as the teams are even. The bots are either too super powered or terrible so its a handicap.

I am pretty sure you can get all the trophies in exhibition mode (local). As long as the servers are up though I (and I am sure 10 other people) would be happy to help you out with anything. I am not very good at it but it is still pretty fun. 20 more collectibles to get the plat. Probably tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

I'm not too worried about it, I just didn't want it to be one of those things where I end up having a blast with it and there's one trophy that requires an online 4v4 and the community is dead. Because that's annoying.

Did anyone else wake up in a cold sweat this morning thinking they'd missed the amazon prime day sale? Me too!

Rocket League is amazeballs. I spent and embarassing amount of time playing yesterday. Love that you can play splitscreen online, too. I'm working from home today, but I know I won't be able to fight the urge to boot it up for a bit later. Will look to see if any of you are online.

Game has 1 online trophy. Play with friend or use two controllers. Rest can be done solo with bots.

Obviously you can get all the trophies offline, as you have the plat and like to boost with yourself.

Rocket League feels like a game that will have an online community for the long haul. I don't think you'll have an issue finding online matches aside from the occasional server issues.

I haven't run into the fans running loudly issue with Rocket League yet. Doesn't seem to do anything unsual in that regard.
I left mine running from 12:30pm till almost 5pm and then from 6 to 7 or so last night. I was out most of that time but my wife was home and said the fans never really came on very loud/fast. I think others said the issue was when in the menus and not the actual game. Not sure though. I played a decent amount Friday night and Saturday too with no issues.

Flipped two copies of ESO yesterday, then got Lego Jurassic World at GS. Vague buyers remorse paying $60 for it instead of $48. GCU got me hard.

Oh well, still trades to bb for $30 this week, so I'll try to plow through it.

The fan blowing too loud is usually just a perception thing.   Some of us notice it more than others.  I notice my fan gets louder than any other time when I turn the PS4 OFF.

I am pretty bad at it but still had fun as part of group playing. Perhaps if they released some new venues and cars and stuff in a reasonably priced DLC I would grab it though. I think I will switch to something else once I get the plat but will leave it on my PS4 to play later if/when there is a group wanting to play and an opening.

Or $40.50 at GS ($43.20 w/ PUR) with a 50% bonus code, assuming you got the PS4 version and can finish it before the TIV drops.

On a related note, I would love to get $48 for Arkham Knight, but I'm waiting on my two copies of MLB 15 to arrive tomorrow. I hope the $30 base holds another day.

That was my favorite Spyro because of the skateboarding. I played the shit out of that.
I've never played a Spyro game. The PS1 versions are just too old for me to be interested at this point. I'd actually like to play Dawn of the Dragon but it's not on PSN and physical copies are ridiculously expensive. GS has it at $40 and Amazon starts at $52. eBay seems to go around $50 as well. BB has it at $25 but no online shipping and no availability.

Plus no trophies. :nottalking:

Gator, I am realizing Tampa has a ton of breweries now and would like to go check some out but are all of them going to be like Cigar City?  Basically are all of them making nothing but IPAs and similarly hoppy beers?  I will have to do more research too.

I tried Arrogant Bastard Ale over the weekend and it was terrible.  So bitter and hoppy.  Of course it has a 97 or so on beer advocate.

I tried a replay a few years back, didn't get very far. At this point there are much newer (and probably better) platformers to play. At the time though, Spyro games were awesome. Its too bad spyro is another IP that kind of died off.

Are the skylanders games platformers? I know they're not the same as the original games, but I have no idea if they have any resemblance to the original series at all. Or if they started from scratch with the IP.

Gator, forgot to thank you for that pseudosue recommendation. So good, and definitely my favorite obtainable beer. Also have you tried that hoppin frog gangter frog ipa I got. That was also amazing. Sculpin habenero is weird, but very good once I got used to drinking a spicy beer.

Even Cigar City does a lot more than just hoppy beers. You just seem to want to keep drinking those.

Na, you Americans just have terrible taste in beer. Your taste buds are so fucked up from all the fast food you need that bitterness.

Apparently I am a Belgian now.
There are a lot of other Belgian styles than just the sweet ones, once you drink those too, maybe you could make that claim.

I never got too far into the first two PS1 games for whatever reason, but Year of the Dragon is one of my all time favorite games. I don't know how well it holds up, though. I bought it in a flash sale for 99 cents, but haven't tried to play it yet.

I planned on trading in the DualShock 4 that came with my PS4 to GS for $40 after bonuses since I managed to score a (hopefully) dinger White DS4 from Amazon Warehouse Deals for ~$38, but maybe later today I should quickly download and start up Rocket League to get the distance trophy via rubber-banding. :whistle2:k

Could someone post how to set up a local match for that? I'm going to try to start the process when I go home for lunch and see if I have the trophy by the time I'm done with work. If not, I can have it continue overnight.

Played Rocket League for about 40 minutes earlier, just stepped into another room briefly and when I came back to my paused game my PS4 sounded like a jet engine. Time to take a break.
The fans on my PS4 where not happy the first time I played it last Friday night. However, I haven't encountered any fan issues the subsequent times I've played it.

Tell me which ones they make that arent hoppy cause I tried their Florida Cracker which is the same style as Blue Moon and I hated that too. Too hoppy and pointless to drink when Blue Moon is cheaper and tastes better.

Yeah the Belgians make other beers but the only ones I try are the ones I see. Granted I am also drawn to the high alcohol content beers. I hate paying a lot of money for a beer that has the standard 5-6%.
