World 5 of Demon's Souls (Valley of Defilement) really, really sucked from a gameplay perspective. It's probably the only place I really hate in this Souls game.

Saw it on clearance at Target so it was a weekend thing for me and the boy to play while the humidity took over the outside. Knocked out the campaign in the weekend. It's a shitty co-op game and shitty visuals and a mostly shitty regular game. But the boy liked it because he loves the show.

The plat is pretty easy so I'm gonna mop up the rest of the trophies the next couple nights.

I still wish ESPN had let him go to the NFL Network when he was ready to leave a few years ago. I can't stand that moron. How some people hate Joe Buck, multiply that by 10 and that's how I feel about Berman.

 
So who wants to be in PSNOT final fantasy football this year? Max spots this year will be 12, first dibs for anyone that was in last year. I'm lucky if I can remember the starting quarterback and WR for each time; let alone each player at every position, their back up, and their approximate ranking.

I'd be better off throwing blind darts at a roster list.

I'll do fantasy football again. Did we have more than 12 last year? There were way too many people last year.

If a bunch of people want in, it may be more fun to do two smaller leagues instead of one huge one like last year's fiasco.

Usually not. Sometimes I buy GCs for other places--Amazon, Subway, Shell, etc.--but with the death of the reusable b-day coupon, it's a lot harder to justify buying anything there since Best Buy's prices beat GS's most of the time.

I might get some PSN spacebucks tomorrow, though, now that you mention them.

Does MWN post here any more?  I vote we add Mitch, Pharm and the USC guy, kick out the non-posters and call it a day at 12.

Edit: shit, forgot about Sage.  We could do a 14 teamer and add someone like Papi.  Still way better than 16.

Edit2: or make Tyler have a team, stick it on autodraft, and have the thread vote for his lineup every week.

If it stays an annual thing and we have enough teams, you could make it so the winner of the B league moves up to the A league next year and the guy who finishes last in the A league gets relegated, similar to what they do in European league soccer.

 
I've never watched the home run derby. This is entertaining enough, but would be a lot more entertaining if Machado had made it to the 2nd round.
