I'm still going to give Godzilla a shot despite the consistently negative reviews it's getting--maybe it's getting those because it feels more like a $30-$40 game rather than a $60 one.

Another really super awesome music movie is "Once". They also made a show about it on Broadway which was also phenomenal. 

 
The Beatles are great except for that one godawful "song" from the White Album, "Revolution 9". Maybe also "Revolution 1", but I can't reallly remember that album well. I have heard Revolution 9 recently. Ugh. Terrible, terrible stuff.

Alright, I'm not seeing anyone else online complaining about psn being down and no one here is saying anything so it appears I am in need of some tech support. 

Vita and PS4 both connected to my router but can't access the internet.  Everything was fine until a few hours ago so I assumed that it was sony... nothing has changed over here.  For whatever reason, it just stopped working.  Both systems fail test connections.

This sound like anything any of you have dealt with before?  I'm probably just going to sleep on it and see if it fixes itself.

Not kidding at all. I think most of their music is terrible. TERRIBLE. I can listen to a few songs without gagging but not many. Why anyone under the age of 50 likes their music is beyond me. I get it if you lived when they were coming up and making names for themselves but the rest of us who didnt live when they were new shouldnt like their music. I just think too many people brain washed their kids into liking them.

Try rebooting your router. Sony is not reporting any issues with PSN right now:

I used to be more or less in the same boat as you. After I played beatles rock band I found a small handful of songs I liked fine so I gave up disliking them and now live a healthy life of indifference.

Oh I am indifferent. The only time I think about the Beatles is when someone says how great they are. Its like anything else I dont like. I try it once, I never think about it again until someone tells me how great it is. I just like to argue. Even though my arguments never really reach beyond "nuhuh, your wrong! BITCH!"

Its just like anything. The Beatles are a big band with a big following of people that blindly love everything they do. Anything in this world that has that kind of following breeds hate from people that dont think the product or service is all that great.

Look at Apple. The people that dont like the Iphone etc HATE Apple. And its really only because of the huge following. If there wasnt a huge following everyone would be indifferent either way. Same for the Beatles. If I didnt hear people say how great they are I would never say I hated them. I hate them because I dont understand the love for them.

Make sense? It isnt real hate. Its just human nature to be divisive me thinks.

 
Not necessarily the best example. I'm not a fan of iPhones and hate the release schedule for new one and how everyone always needs that incremental improvement day one each time. However I use a MacBook and could never see myself going back to windows again.

I get what you're saying though.
 
Wife surprised me with Tickets to Death Cab for Cutie at Red Rocks last night!  It was an amazing show!  Only thing that kept it from perfect was that completely wasted guy next to me who decided to smoke pot the whole concert and sing every song with his screamo voice....

Otherwise Red Rocks is always perfect!

 
Weird. Add-ons for GoW3 listed are my Sound Shapes DLCs. Was there some pre-order DLC for this game? Like a theme or something? Maybe those costumes from the CE of the ps3 version?

I'm definitely in this boat as far as apple goes. I love my macbook, but I've been android from the beginning. Thinking of switching to iphone next time i upgrade though as I've been having shit luck with the GS5

Red Rocks is on my bucket list. I need to see a show there. Also I saw Death Cab a couple months ago in Milwaukee, and yes, it was a great show.
 
I didn't really get into the Beatles until college.  I mean I knew a good deal of their bigger songs, but I certainly wasn't brainwashed by my parents.  I thought most of it was oldies station fodder.  But then my roommate would play their CDs and I'd here deep cuts and their later era stuff and I was like holy shit this isn't what I was expecting.  This is some innovative stuff.  Then I went back and listented to all of it and became a member of their church.  Yes some of the early stuff isn't that exciting or fun to listen to, especially when most of the albums were full of old R&B covers.  But from Help! on, most of the albums are full of great.  Again, not all of it is great, but most of it is.

And yes I've now brainwashed my kid.  I took him to Yellow Submarine in the theater a few years ago and he even correctly spotted the Beatles reference in the Minions movie.

I have had a Windows phone and an android before... always go back to iphone. Especially because I am a mac guy. The functionality and communication between Apple devices benefit you so much when you have all Apple devices. Having the Iphone with a mac, and an Ipad is awesome and brings some of the best cross-platform functionality out there.

The fact that I can text and receive phone calls from my iphone, Mac, and ipad when they are on the same network is awesome when doing school work or messing around on the Ipad.

 
Just got an email saying if I signed up for a free week of PS Now that I'd get 200 Sony Rewards points. I'm currently at 903 points. $10 PSN, here I come!  :D/  :D/  :D/  :D/  :D/

Yeah, that's one of the biggest reasons I've been thinking about going to an iphone over just picking a different android manufacturer. I like the idea of being able to quickly answer a text from my computer if it pops up.

 
On that note, how do saves work with PS Now? Do they work just like PS+ saves, meaning if I play a game on PS Now on Vita or PS4, then pop the game into my PS3 I can download the save and play it locally? Or are the saves stuck on the Now network?

Yeah, that is a great feature. I had thought it only worked with iMessage, but you can send and receive regular text messages on your Mac with non-iPhone users too. Very cool.

I got that email too. Definitely going to sign up for a week, but I hope I remember to cancel. So, speaking of which, can you cancel right away and get the full week trial, or does cancelling take effect immediately?
