I have Handsome Collection. I'm a Borderlands fanatic, so I own pretty much all of them Vanilla and GOTY on PS3 and 360 on disc and digital, lol. Also managed to snag a steelbook for Handsome, best steelbook I own and in general in my opinion.

Anyways, I'd be willing to play at some point in Presequel but I'm currently balls deep in Payday2 again since its rerelease, and likely Zombie Army next week when the disc hits and I convice at least one friend to grab it. Plus vacation the week after that, so it might not be for a while.
Yeah probably a long while before I get back to TPS. Going to play BL2 with Kilik first. Maybe later we could try to play all 3 in co op mode if it works out schedule wise for all. I played through it once on PS3 and traded it. BL2 is my favorite of the 3. Beat it and got most of the trophies on XBox 360. Got the plat on PS3 and 100% all the DLC. Started Borderlands 1 on PS3 (beat it on 360) a few weeks ago but didn't get too far before getting side tracked and playing something else.

I also want to play Payday 2 and co op Saints Row 4 GAT with Gator at some point.

By the time I get to Payday 2 maybe it will be $20 or less on PS4.

Derek, Waffles and I need a 4th for a co op trophy in ZAT as well as the 1000 limbs trophy.

Derek'd - sounds dirty

Hit me up when you get Payday 2. Gator will be done by then (I won't).

It's an excellent game when you got some friends to play with. With randoms, the enjoyment is well random.

I'll play some Nom Nom with you guys too.

Not sure how long I'll be playing PayDay but I still have a lot to do.

Might want to stop mentioning trophies if you want Pineapple Guy to pay with you.

Another World (Tried playing this on my tablet. Do the other versions have bad controls?)

Reasonance of Fate

Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype Complete Bundle
OR
SOLDNER-X 2: FINAL PROTOTYPE + SOLDNER-X: HIMMELSSTURMER BUNDLE
Another world

I watched Tyler stream it for a few hours, it did not look fun at all. It's one of those instant death, trial and error, 2D platformer puzzle type games.

Resonance of Fate

The game popped on my radar when it was on sale in April for $8. It is supposed to be pretty challenging and the battle system blends real time with turn based RPG elements. You can directly control 1 of your party of 3 at a time and move around the battlefield when it is your turn. It is also set in the future which usually appeals to me. $5 is the lowest it has been.

Soldner X & X2

I didn't buy this game for the longest time because they were stupid assholes when they put the bundles together. You can buy the first game bundled with the 2nd game, you can buy the 2nd game bundled with its dlc, but there is no fuck ing bundle for the first game, the 2nd game, and the 2nd game's DLC. Your best bet is to buy the complete X2 bundle and then wait for another sale on just the original game (I bought it a year ago for $1 in a flash sale) if you want the whole set.

After slapping myself in the face, I bought Mass Effect 1. I have 3.78 left in my wallet that I want to use up. Either thinking another world and star drone, or another world and one of the tales from space games. Is one of those better than the other, in anyone's opinion?
Owl is right. The 2nd one, Mutant Blobs Attack i think, is much better.

Finally got a chance to look at the list of games as part of the Flash sale. Would any of you recommend the following:

Another World (Tried playing this on my tablet. Do the other versions have bad controls?)
Reasonance of Fate
Yorbie (How is it part of the sale when it shows $9.99 normal price?)

Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype Complete Bundle
OR
SOLDNER-X 2: FINAL PROTOTYPE + SOLDNER-X: HIMMELSSTURMER BUNDLE
Yorbie isn't on sale, not sure why it's there. Well I know why, because the webstore constantly has weird errors like that.

I think QUBE looks great. Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds on PS4 also comes out this week, on Thursday for some weird reason.

Yorbie looks really, really slow. Not sure if anybody has played it but this doesn't seem appealing at all:

Also there's this post from pst.org:

The insane playthrough is fine. Beating a level on insane without dying is... well, doable. I might get it after some more trial and error.

Beating every level on insane without any reboots though... fuck that.

The last level is going to be next to impossible. They change the controls for the last (and by far most difficult) level. Instant kills abound, and of course there's a big boss fight at the end. I'm talking inverted controls, they REMOVE your ability to jump... The shoot button moves... It's not going to be easy in the slightest. FAR from it.

If you're a completionist, STAY AWAY. VERY few people will ever 100% this.

And it's not even a fun game. Damn shame.

Last two nights I watched It Follows and Ex Machina. Rotten Tomatoes did me a solid because they were both great. Do reccommend.
Yes, I watched Ex Machina a couple of nights ago too and liked it too. As a nice surprise, the redbox is not a rental edition so you can watch the special features if you want. The making of documentary covers the technical aspects and the 60 minute Q & A panel waxes a bit more philosophical and touches on the themes and motives of the characters.

Therm, we already discussed Yorbie.  Its a great game worth your money.  Dont listen to those idiots you quoted.  They dont know what they are talking about.

Resonance of Fate would be hard for someone like RPG that relies on glitches and exploits to finish any game even remotely difficult. But it's not really that hard compared to some stuff most people here have played. It has a super steep learning curve, but you get tutorials on nearly every single element of the game.

Basically battles are using a machine gun to deal "scratch damage" and then finishing them off with a hand gun. Scratch damage can be temporary and can be recovered. But if you hit an enemy with a hand gun, it removes the HP that was scratched, and they can't get that back. It boils down to you have to hit every enemy twice, once with a machine gun, again with a hand gun.

The weapon customization is awesome though. You think you know what you're doing when it comes to making an awesome weapon, and then you check out a guide or video and people do absolutely insane things that result in guns that are almost game breaking.

I definitely want to watch those. Glad to hear they're great.

Time to get ready. I just beat the Opal boss on GW3. I have to savor my leader board position before my score gets demolished.

The wife and I went to the mall, yes the mall, after dinner; I still keep seeing that waitress's ass hanging out of her shorts when I close my eyes. I don't remember the last time I set foot in a mall.

We went to Victoria's Secret, and all the women working there were FUGLY! How do you get a job at VS when you are less than a 10?

We also went in Spencer's. I didn't even know that place still existed; it brought back memories from the younger days. I definitely can't take my kids in there. Just about every other item for sale has 'fuck' written on it. Some of the stuff in there had me rolling with laughter, though.

I was definitely tripping on nostalgia when we left the mall. Then I came back to reality, and realized it was time to go pickup the kids. Fun night.

ok Godzilla just isn't that bad. I get where the repetition complaints come in, but it is pretty fun. vs mode 1v1v1 is hilarious and stupid. Also surprisingly active and there's already people with 100-200 wins. Definitely not a $60 game and that plat seems to be a 100 mile long trek that I don't think I can stomach but I'm definitely entertained.

Finished S1 of True Detective.  Meh.  Boring throughout.  Great acting yes.  But barely anything ever happened.  And pretty much every monologue or speech Mconaghey gave was gibberish that made no sense to me.  Pointless.  I only kept watching since I knew there was an end and it was only 8 episodes.  I needed closure.  Even then I didnt feel much closure since everything happened in the last 45 minutes of the last episode.   Felt rushed.

I really need another Entourage type show to entertain me.

I don't know what that entails, but as long as we're actually playing the game and not solely boosting something I'm down.
yeah dont mind us. We just need someone else to play with us. We did all the stuff you dont like already finding collectables etc. All we have to do is play through a level with 4 players and kill a ton of zombies, which we can do by playing through the levels with you. And its real fun killing all the zombies. Fun and interesting levels.

Sometimes when I'm flipping radio stations I catch this horrible show on the radio called scratch n sniff where they remix various songs. Tonight I heard a dance/pop remix of come as you are by nirvana and I've never had a stronger urge to run my vehicle into the nearest wall.

If there ever comes a time when I'm gone for awhile and your attempts to contact me are fruitless, I think you can safely assume that I finally lost what little faith in humanity I had left.

Yup exactly.

The kids and I finished season 1 of the Simpson's and started up season 2. Watched the classic "Bart the Daredevil" tonight.

Most people will say Season 3 is where the show really picks up but Season 2 has some really good episodes as well. "Simpsons and Delilah" (the first "great" episode of the show IMO), "Principal Charming", and "Lisa's Substitute" (Sam Etic lol) are all awesome.

I'm selling off most of my PS2 collection and I decided to play a few of them that I never got to because I bought a PS3. Played an hour or so of Resident Evil 4... oh man those primitive controls. Did they make them better with the HD version for PS3?

did u just look up those episodes? How do you remember them 20 years later?

I remember Seinfeld episodes but have no idea what the titles are. In fact I never know the titles of episodes of any show I watch. I never look them up. Even if I did I wouldn't remember them 20 years later.

I think I remember a few Simpsons episode titles, but off the top of my head I only remember 'A Milhouse Divided'
