I like beer.

I don't care much for roofing though.

If I had to rate them, it would go something like this:

1) Beer

2) Roofing

Although I could definitely see myself going with roofing during a hangover, in which case it would look more like:

1) Roofing

2) Beer

As you can see, there's all sorts of ways to look at this.

 
Going to B-dubs to finish the tourney. 17 is almost unbirdieable. Speith is gonna need to birdie 18 and hope Leishman doesn't, or that he bogeys 17.

I went with the wife years ago. Was pretty fun with a friends discs. I haven't gone again, but not because I didn't enjoy it. Just no one else I know has expressed interest. I'd definitely do more often.

Dammit, I got lazy and decided not to go to Winghouse to finish the tourney. Should have gone but who knew Spieth would sink a ridiculous put!

 
Speaking of golf, just got a new American Standard Champion 4 Max toilet since the bathroom is getting remodeled. The box of the toilet says you can flush a bucket of golf balls.

I'm up for that challenge.

Y'all ever hear of Footgolf?  Basically it's golf, but you kick a soccer ball into obviously bigger holes.  It's starting to be a thing out here in Minnesota & Wisconsin.  Not sure if it's been other places first (probably), but the news is starting to talk about it now and we have a team outing to go do it later this summer.

I was going to write something shmarmy, but that sounds more fun than frisbee/disc/whatever golf so I'll stay my silver tongue.

There's supposed to be a course for this as well around here. Definitely interested, I need to try and get a group together.

 
Foot golf I would do terrible at, but it might be fun. First I've heard of it. I did play some disc golf many years ago and thought it was fun. We weren't using the real discs, just a stock frisbee. I've thought about getting a set of discs but haven't gotten around to it. I do have friends who play, so I'm sure I could tag along with them.

In fact one of my friends who plays made his own private disc golf course at his house on top of a mountain in WV. He didn't win the lottery. Actually, he did - he joined AoL when they were starting up and like others his paycheck was all stock options. Then they became huge and he cashed in. Bastard.

Every once in a while I check to see if AOL is still around. I'm always surprised to see that they are.

I was just reading recently that a surprising number of people still use AoL dialup. They don't have any better options in some places. My brother-in-law in Michigan lives where his only option is that or satellite internet. Ouch. No, wait, I think now he has 4G internet, but it's not great and of course there are data limits which make it miserable anyway.

you'd have to ask someone that doesn't suck. I can do some stuff where timing is a lot looser and forgiving (marvel vs capcom), but any character in stuff like king of fighters / street fighter 4 is pretty much a non-starter for me without tons of practice. people that play for real have to put in hundreds/thousands of hours of practice to be able to reliably do that stuff at evo but that's not me. I just like playing them, I can't beat anyone but total scrubs like pancakes.
