I would buy Bastion if I didn't already have it on both PC and 360.

But comparing it to the $15.50 the closest movie theater charges for general admission, games are always a great value. They're about the only thing that hasn't gone up in price in the last 20+ years.

Gator is right, though. Stuff like trading in new releases that come with $10 preorder certificates from Best Buy means I'm spoiled by barely paying anything out of pocket or coming out ahead with full retail releases.

i got most of the trophies for super rocket cars back when gamespy was shutting down and that was on the chopping block. I think they spared it somehow so online still works if anyone ever wants to boost the grindy trophies with my son. ;)

Went with the physical copy of the old blood. If the trade in value holds until the 50% coupon is active I cna get $16 back on it.
 
i need to get a 50% trade coupon now. so i can swap my physical elder scrolls for the digital edition. might have to snag old blood, even though i haven't played wolfenstein yet. though, old blood will probably be plus soon anyway, right vig?

Glad Frisky had a link the Transistor.  I thought I already had it but wanted to check.   Figured I would do a search on the webstore.  Doesn't come up.  WTF Sony can't even figure out how to search on the title of a game?  Is that hard?  Only game that comes up for trans is Transformers.   Not the first time I had to jump through hoops to find something on their store.

My first GoW plat. Decided to spend the hour and a half doing a quick run through the game for that stupid Midas Trick trophy after all. 

Challenge of the Gods stuff was super easy aside from Unscathed, which took me a while to figure out how best to handle. Seems like lots of the fights like that had an ideal approach that worked great and everything else made it a lot harder. Good game. I'll probably get to Chains of Olympus soon. Not sure if I'll play GoW III on PS3 or PS4 after that.  :whistle2:k

How is A2? I'm looking forward (kinda) to giving it a try when I get a New 3DS around xmas. Still hoping the smaller model comes out here. May have to import for it, but then I wouldn't be able to buy games. :(

I fucking hate birds so much.
I was talking to this cute chick (pharm you'll love san Antonio, 80% Hispanic with tons of cute chicks everywhere you turn) and I was pretty much in. Then we walk outside and this bird just shits all over my shirt. I had to walk in shame alone smelling like bird shit. Sorry had to vent.

Oh and damn I missed the vinyl talk. I have a collection myself. I wont lie for me it is more for collecting than listening themselves.

Bums went to get dinner and no we didn't beat one co op level yet. Shit is hard.

Anyway I downloaded the tembo demo since someone said we got the full game free. And it is pretty damn awesome. Really bright and colorful and tembo really is badass. I'll sleep on it but may buy it tomorrow.

Just waiting for my tacos. Damn freeway shutdown 3 lanes. I should be before 9:15 (Best coast time).
 
I'm all about vinyl these days. I wish I didn't wait so long to adopt it. I wish I could trade my 2000+ cd collection to vinyl. Something about the sound is so relaxing to me, especially with the little crackles in it. Sometimes it's a nuisance to flip the record over when you're trying to relax, but it also gets you a little more active with your music playing. Most new ones give you a download code too in case you want to throw the album on your ipod. I've started to buy most of the stuff I don't have on cd, as records now, and also ones I love I have on both mediums. Like the Beatles and Pink Floyd!
