Oh, you mean the one we're never getting because we're still waiting for the PSP version of the second game and this one has way too much text to translate? :wall:
We're still supposed to get the PSP version later this year. Second Evolution is the same game, but remade for Vita. Since they'll have all the translation stuff done there's a decent chance they'll localize the Vita version as well, especially if Trails of Cold Steel does well on Vita.

Firepower Wizard goals complete on Vita and a new high score. Now onto the PS3 goals.

Thanks for the two shiney silver trophies Mild!

Actually, it won't be localized because the update has a different developer in Japan (Kadokawa) that isn't too keen on their titles being localized, or at the very least they insist that the Japanese voices remain intact while charging too much. At any rate, XSEED confirmed that they won't be localizing the newer PS3/Vita versions of Trails in the Sky, just the Falcom-developed PC and PSP versions.

Man there is a ton of fraud going around.  Apparently only 7 months into this year we have seen/found more than 7 times the amount of fraud attempts against us and our clients compared to all of last year.

Pro tip:  Make sure you check your bank and credit card statements and accounts online regularly.  Check your credit report every quarter.  Its important.  You will be compromised eventually.

For those interested in Amiibo:

From a Walmart employee on Reddit:

I'm sure quite a bit of this has been posted here in the past, but I haven't been following this sub as much as I used to, sorry if I post something that's common knowledge.
The only 5B figures Walmart stores will be getting are Zero Suit Samus, Olimar, and Ganondorf, available Sep. 11.
We'll be getting the 3DS NFC reader on Sep. 15.
AC:HHD is only listed as a bundle to be released on Sep. 25.
Wooly World amiibo available Oct 16, with and without a bundle. If I read the list right, the green Yoshi will only be in the bundle.
This is all from the Video Game New Release list that was made available today for associates.

Also goes on to mention that they will have the blue Yoshi amiibo, which makes it look like a Walmart exclusive.

https://www.reddit.com/r/amiibo/comments/3gntlt/walmart_news_for_upcoming_amiibo_and_related_items/
There's also a rumor that Dr. Mario will be Target-exclusive and Bowser Jr. will be Toys-R-Us-exclusive.

Kadokawa isn't too bad about localizing games. I didn't know about the rest, though--and yeah if it's a different dev and XSEED isn't doing the localization then I doubt it'll happen.

I forgot how stupid entertaining peggle is.  whatever I paid for peggle 2 was definitely worth it.

anyone besides rpg play rocket league since the patch?  anything exciting in there other than the new arena/cars?  absurdly enough I was actually kinda excited when the devs mentioned that there would be new goal explosions.

The joys of home ownership. My wife tells me the dryer suddenly started taking 3 hours to dry a load of laundry. I checked everything inside and it all seemed fine. Thankfully, I decided to go check outside. Apparently a bird decided it wanted to make a nest in the dryer exhaust vent. I guess it broke off the louvers on cover. At least the dryer should work again for now and all it should cost me is a few bucks for a new cover to keep the wildlife out.
Of course Home Depot does not have one that will fit the opening in the siding. fuck!

DLC stuff doesn't hit until tomorrow. Patch notes here:

http://rocketleague.psyonix.com/patch-notes/

Looks like in the mean time new arena is up, along with some new items, and changes to ranked matches.

Are you trying to buy a whole new pipe/extension that goes through the wall? If so, that should be pretty standard. I had to replace one when we moved 3 years ago and didnt have an issue. Sounds like the opening in your siding isnt standard?

My house is around 35 years old at this point I think. No surprise that anything in it could be non-standard.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture impressions, no spoilers

I played for around 5-6 hours. Only experienced one crash where the audio from a phone call kept playing but I couldn’t move so I had to restart the game.

+ Visually beautiful I especially like the starry night sequences. As someone who lives in the UK, while not from a little town like this I have been to some and they’ve pretty much nailed the look.

+ Great soundtrack. Fits the game really nicely. I might end up buying it at some point.

+ The voice acting is very well done. The accents are a little funny, all of the women just sound like little old ladies which makes me laugh when i’m listening to they talk.

+ Interesting story / premise. I found it pretty engaging I was very curious to see how it ended while playing through.

+ It felt natural to play, I didn’t really find myself stuck wandering around trying to figure how to open the next area up

- Movement speed. The walking speed is too slow, even holding R2 its barely noticeable. I wish the R2 button was a 20% increase in speed. A Call of Duty type sprint would not suit this game but it needs something.

- I wish you could fast travel. When first starting you obviously want to take it slow and explore everything. However now i’ve finished the game going back to get some trophies i’ve missed is taking ages due to me moving like a slug. After completion you should be able to fast travel to each area.

- I wish it had more exploration. When I first started I was like wow, this is huge and theres going to be so much to do. While the areas are pretty large there isn’t much exploration. 90% of houses or buildings are locked, the ones that aren’t don’t feature much. I starting playing Ether One before it broke on me, but I really enjoyed all the little notes and personal items you can find and read. I wish this game had the same. A lot of the areas feel bare to be honest.

- There seems to be a lot of copy and paste. A lot of the houses, pubs, greenhouses etc are exactly the same which is a shame.

Overall I am happy I bought the game. I have this problem when new games come out and I have this mentality of “it’ll be on PS+ soon i’ll just wait”. I’ve got to play games like Stick it to the Man, Trine 2, Pixel Junk, Counter spy, The Unfinished Swan through PS+ which I really loved and felt bad I didn’t play them at release and support the developer. So I am trying to change this mindset and buy more games like this.

I am not sure if I will go back and try and get the platinum right away due to the slow movement. Maybe they’ll add faster movement and i’ll go back and finish the trophies off.

£12 with a really nice dynamic theme is a good price.

My library's taking too long to actually get Legend of Kay Anniversary in stock, but a local Gamestop has a used copy available so I'll just play it that way.
I just quit on it and traded it in while it had any semblence of value. I also had it listed on Amazon for almost a week and nobody bought it, I kept lowering the price and couldn't get any bites.

It wasn't that bad, but Nightmare mode was really dumb. The only thing that makes it hard is that they give the enemies a shit-ton of health so you have to do the same attack patterns over and over and over.

I should have just played on normal and had some fun with it and not worried about the platinum. If it ever gets super cheap on PSN or retail I'll pick it back up and do a normal run, but after getting about 3 hours into the game on nightmare and realizing how obnoxious the game was going to be, I didn't feel like starting over and doing all that shit on normal.

Ugh why do the cool ones have to be exclusives? Who gives a shit about Zero Suit Samus, make her an exclusive!

The last few exclusives have been fairly available though, if Dr Mario and Bowser Jr can stay in stock for an hour then I'd be fine with it.

I am going to have to check out the first two. As far as smaller hardware stores, I live in the home of Home Depot. I am surprised there are even Lowe's stores around. Smaller hardware stores disappeared a long time ago.
Try to find an Ace Hardware? They seem to have a lot around Atlanta. If they dont have something they might have someone working there that knows shit.

We have a few smaller ones still but 2 Home Depots and 1 Lowes within 15 mins. One of the Home Depot is like 2 miles from my house. There was a nice Ace (or maybe it was True Value) hardware store about 4 miles away. It burned to the ground recently though. They are going to rebuild and I am going to make more of an effort to shop there for things that are about the same price as Home Depot.

Any good luck in tracking down something that works.

I'll still give it a shot on Nightmare. I have a higher pain threshold for same-attack-pattern games thanks to Dynasty Warriors.

Most of those around me have closed recently too. Home Depot does have them on their website it appears, but not in any of the stores. Apparently now most places use a 4 inch and ours is a 6 inch version.

Apologies, never thought this would turn into Tyler's fridge, lol.

When you get back to Senran Kagura be sure to post how you liked it after going through the entire game. I'm curious how it compares to a DW title as far as how repetitive it feels. I've never played one aside from a bit of Dynasty Warrior Next, which I put down after a few minutes.

Though that reminds me I do have one of those One Piece DW-style games.

I played a bit last night and there are a decent amount of little changes that are cool. When you party up you now see the other cars in the party next to yours at the main menu. The one new map they added is pretty cool as it looks more distinct than the original ones (some sort of medieval theme). One thing I'm not a fan of is that the speaker on the DS4 will now make a little noise every time you switch your camera mode. I am constantly switching back and forth so this will probably get old. Maybe there's a way to shut it off in the options, but I haven't investigated.

I'm officially done with Amiibo

Another option would be to find businesses in your area that sell repair parts for home appliances. They tend to carry the miscellaneous stuff like hoses and dryer vents, too. If you live near Atlanta, you should have a Baker Distributing around you. Google it.

In news that no one cares about, I started on Spelunky again. I've been trying to go for the Ironman trophy. I still suck at the game, I think a lot of times I get impatient and make dumb choices.
However yesterday I made it to Olmec with 2 hearts a good amount of bombs and a jetpack. I forgot about all the enemies (frogs, etc.) that start spawning so I got hit by one of them taking away a heart. Then with the jetpack mind you, I managed to fall from too far a height as I was collecting the stuff at the top of the level, like a dope ending my game.
Fun Spelunky stories.

WEDOIT!

I like Resident Evil 1 & 2 but I finished those games. I know the remakes are different but I'd probably buy 4 if it came to PS4 a lot faster than those. Still anxious for RE: Revelations 2 on Vita. Hopefully the port is good.

One Home Depot ended up telling my wife to call some sort of appliance place near where I work. They did not have one but another location in Forrest Park (37 miles away) does and they are having one delivered up to the store near me. It costs a few bucks more than ordering one from Home Depot, but I will have it tomorrow afternoon instead of in almost 2 weeks.

Anyone have anything to say for the Vita version of Borderlands 2? I'm wondering if I should redeem the code I got from my bundle or try to get $15 for it on eBay.

Even though Citizens of Earth seems like a sure fire candidate for Plus, I'll probably pick it up. $5

I don't see anything else tempting me that much in this sale. It might be fun to play through those old Square Enix games again, but I'm moving forward.

I keep going back and forth on whether I want to play it on Vita. I like the portability, but I already have it from PS+ and on PC. It does seem like the performance issues have been improved upon but not fixed. Here's a couple recent videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VloGqBhA_UA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLk0n8nfZbM

Granted some of this may be due to the cam pointed at the screen, but the graphics seem to be downgraded enough that things kind of run together. Lots of the same color everywhere. That might be due to the area in the first video and beginning of the 2nd, but I'm not sure how much of the game is like that. The second half of the 2nd video, running around town, really shows off what looks to be a lot of frame stuttering, though again this is a cam pointed at the screen.

So yeah, I'm also curious whether anybody here has played it recently and can weigh in.

If you had a good amount of bombs you should have just lured Olmec to one side then gone to the other side and bombed a pit for him to fall down into.

Olmec is a huge fucking pain in the ass because of those enemy spawns and you should always try to have 12 or so bombs with you so you can just bomb a pit for him rather than actually have to fight him for real.

I may be up for Rocket League later depending on how fast I get through Galak-Z. I just found out the game has continues, I've never actually been prompted to use one which sucks ass. Lost over an hour of progress on a dumb mistake last night, wish I would have known continues existed.
