Damn, 

I was going for a Hell Run in Spelunky on the Daily Challenge 8/15 and died in the Black Market. I already got the Ankh so I was revived. I went on to finish the game beating Olmec. Strange thing is the Ironman trophy popped again, are the PS4 trophies separate? Not a super high score but it felt good to complete the game in the daily challenge run.

Trophies are shared. I'm guessing the 2nd time you did it was on a different console than the first time you did it, and whatever console you played it on the 2nd time (I'm guessing Vita) you hadn't sync'd the trophies yet, so your Vita didn't know you had earned the trophy yet.

I played it on the Vita the first time and synced it right after getting it. Tonight I played on PS4, the trophy popped but even after syncing it shows the first one as the time I earned it. I guess since I hadn't earned it on PS4 it popped.

 
I tried 10 times to get 3 kills with one bullet with the naga sniper, finally leveled up and got it on my first try with the thanatos sniper. Got 4 kills with one bullet just to rub it in the game's face. woot

also my 4 million was nothing to the 12 million i just won. Hoxton's Breakout Pro on Overkill for the win

OC pinball is terrible, unfortunately. Use to be decent but they stopped getting new games and let the ones there rot. They are in terrible shape and there's never anything new. So, yes.

At one time Marty's Playland had two long rows of pins and generally in decent shape. Those days are long gone.

I've pretty much peaked in Ranked unless I learn how to do aerial stuff. And its weird but nobody fucking plays goalie. It's so stupid because at least 2 goals per game could have been stopped if someone would just fucking stay back.

 
I was all set to vote for Grow Home, but...I got the urge to watch the trailer for each of the games beforehand and was blindsided by Armello. I probably should have paid more attention to it because the animal-character design instantly reminded me of Redwall and the gameplay sounds more awesome than I expected.

there's some pretty serious built up angst regarding the ps4 library on neogaf. I've only used it maybe a half dozen times, and half of those I was just browsing. The rest of the time whatever I'm playing is in the main menu of games.

Neogaf is quite the hive mind and pretty filled with hyperbole. Someone posts an opinion, others realize they agree, then go all in.

That being said, demos not being labeled and being permanent is lame

Demos remaining on your account when you buy the full game is also lame. Same with the beta/alpha bullshit. Same with the inability to do a normal purchase of a game you have already from PS+. Same with the inability to sort or filter your download list. Same with the terrible sales page organization and that filtering sales by platform often causes products on that platform to disappear.

It's harder to list things the PS Store does right than things it does wrong. It needs a complete overhaul.

What was the verdict on Xenoblade Chronicles 3DS? I seem to recall seeing negative comments about the port, but don't really know where to get reliable reviews of Nintendo stuff.

Its painful to look at. Play it on the Wii if you have the option. Otherwise the 3DS version is serviceable enough.

BTW, I've talked to 8 people at BB now about my GCU coupons. Such bullshit. Kept getting transferred or disconnected. Chat wasn't working, either--the link for it was just down. The phone rep didn't know what was going on with chat. It did just start up so I'm talking to somebody about it now.

In the meantime, Etrian Odyssey Untold quit being available for shipping and there are no local copies. fuck

I've never played a Pokemon game, so tempted to give it a shot. How is this particular title? Also going back and forth on Xenoblade vs Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. MH4 looks prettierfrom online videos, but those generally do a terrible job of representing 3DS games due to the low resolution of the system. I'm also not sure if it'd be fun or if it would feel like an endless grind. Thoughts on this list?

Graphics are crap. Everyone I've talked to just said to try and get the wii version. There's also a slight chance we'll see it on the WiiU eshop as I believe europe just got it.

Pokemon X is fantastic. Great entry point to the series.

Monster Hunter 4 is an endless grind. Not reccomended unless you are looking to trek through empty enviornments to kill the same boring monsters over and over again for small upgrades.

 
Well, shit. Bought some copies of Madden so I can move credit to Best Buy and decided to play it. Got 8 bronze, 1 silver and 1 gold trophy to let the game simulate through this online career mode shit for 10 minutes, lol.

 
I had my best Firepower table run just now. The secret weapon was my daughter. She came and sat down next to me and started asking me about the game. Before I knew it, I had the 4x multiplier and multi-ball rolling. Then, she kept asking the same question over and over because I was concentrating on everything going on. After about the fifth time asking the same question, she put her face in front of mine and blew a raspberry at me. Can't get mad at that, but I quickly snapped back to my normal Firepower play; sucking.

The Wii version was added to the Wii U virtual console a week or so ago in Europe. Hopefully that means it will come to NA soon. Not that you have a Wii U (I assume).

This is my one very minor irk with the goal system in pinball arcade - I finally got the 5x bonus and it was my last standard goal. When the ball drained I probably would've gotten all the wizard goals too but you have to wait until your next game to start on them.
