Cool. I watched Pancakes play it a while back and he and Chewy liked it so I knew it would be awesome. I was busy beating the first three challenges in Old Blood but just booted up Jamestown and just the music has me pumped. Glad you liked it too.
Nice I logged off a bit ago and noticed you were at level 30 and was curious if you were able to get those trophies. Got a lot of level 50 stuff when you get there.
Yeah I hit level 30 earlier and got both trophies pretty close together. Of course, I got the 90 second trophy farming Caustic Caverns and then the very next side mission I picked up (in Sawtooth Cauldron I think) had me going there....
Jamestown+ is an awesome game. So glad I picked it up in the sale and didn't wait for the magic day of PS+.
The controls do suck, especially since the increased frame-rate on PS3 made Wander much, much, much more susceptible to falling down while on a colossus, and the Time Attacks are stupid (what's the point of rushing such great boss fights?), but SotC is still awesome in every other way. You guys have all been all the absolute worst people ever today.
It's an escalating horde mode that unfortunately takes 3ish hours to complete per map and if anyone disconnects for any reason, they can't come back once the game has started. If the host loses connection then the host migrates which resets the round and strips all players of all their purchased secondary weapons and items. You can only purchase items at the start of rounds divisible by 5 so its basically a death sentence. I was never able to finish any of the maps with a team either due to failure of strategy or failure due to lag disconnecting the host and screwing the run.

The three other character specific trophies are pretty cake, siren and commando you can get pretty easy by playing the first bit of the game and constantly using their specials.

Nice, I was hoping there was some kind of glitch so I wouldn't have to do a ton with Zero. Should finish off the story tonight and then will start working through the DLC as well.

As far as I'm concerned we'll take a no ragrets stab at it for fun. We'll probably wipe out once the heavies start coming in anyhow but at least there will be a lot of blowing limbs off of robots.
yep! I watched some video of it this morning and it looks janky ass so it'll probably be terrible but who knows. we can have some fun with it at least. there's also a vs mode.
Doubtful, but doing some of the campaign will help you get used to the controls and robot combat.
There are a couple quick trophies we can get too. I wont be playing to level 50 but winning a match or two sounds doable. Maybe even without boosting? Ha, probably not.
That was quick. I just played through Difficult to open up and I beat level 4. But now I need to do Legendary to open level 5. Shit is about to get real.
