wow, i'm apparently missing a lot of posts when i refresh on my phone. if you like warriors style games, it'll be right up your alley. there's actually a lot of depth in the combat compared to warriors though. the game didn't start getting fun for me until i started putting my points into the new moves, vampire ring, and tech ring(makes some of the combos easier). the combos remind me a lot of legend of dragoon, except there's nothing telling you how to time the next move. basically, you can mash buttons, or you can time the combos to use a powerful finishing move at the end(if you've unlocked it). there's a mission mode on the side that has you doing various tasks for the kills to count/mission to complete. only thing i don't like is the 4 unstacklable difficulties for story mode, and that seems to be where you get the costumes from.

most importantly, jiggling. lots of jiggling

That's what it is. It will use Steam OS so I'm guessing some games won't work that require Windows which is kind of a bummer. Some nice touches though like a 720p screen and HDMI out to play on a TV.

not having access to the entire library sucks. wonder how many games that actually translates to. i wouldn't buy the thing anyway until they revise the hardware itself. maybe they'll get that stuff worked out in time.

Onboard, it has 32GB built in and then a micro SD slot for expansion. Better than the Vita in that regard. Guessing it will do streaming too though which might be a plus for some.

Yeah, article mentioned something about being able to stream games from your PC as well.

 
How bad is BttF PS3? I picked it up in one of those flash sales but have kinda been dreading it based on comments about Telltale's earlier game engine issues.

 
I didn't really like their The Walking Dead much, so I'm skeptical I'd get anything out of their BttF, though certainly the theme is more appealing.

Back to the Future on PS3 blew.  I am sure it will blow on PS4.    Terrible developers since they cant get their shit to run smooth.  And their games look like ass so it shouldnt be taking up much of the hardware processing power!  fuck those guys.

BttF is actually more of a adventure game, IMO. TWD is really just an interactive movie. While I liked both and preferred TWD due to the story (although TWAU is better by far), I could see you preferring BttF.

 
And now I hate the developers for GW3 as the Beat Phil trophy didnt pop even though I beat his high score on Nufo Flow.  I was playing that shit off and on for what feels like days now and I dont get the trophy??!?!!  fuck

Wasn't there a thing where you had to make sure you're online and access the leaderboards after you beat it to get the trophy to pop?

Try going in and out of leaderboards and sorting etc. Unfortunately a lot of trophies seem to be tied to connecting to psn.

just leave it suspended until you get home, then pop back in to it at home and muck around with the leaderboards. I had the same problem with the topaz boss trophy and it popped a minute or two after I was back on psn.

Ignoring the humans living there aspect, burning off the land after trees were cut down, sure. When it is actual forest with animals living all in it, not so much.

The animals just have to relocate. Some may die, but those are the dumb, sick and/or slow ones. Natural selection!

Most hurricanes are actually a good thing for forests and the ecosystem. Its just humans and their homes usually get in the way.

Hey Zimm, did you quit Shadows of the Damned? I hadn't played it since release and I'm dying a lot even on easy. I restarted at level 5-2 though so maybe that's the reason.

I just got lectured by a drunk guy. He thinks that since people in the neighborhood have seen me limping around, I should give them money out of my settlement. Oh, and I'm apparently a greedy prick who should just settle with the lawyers and stop having surgeries.
