Couldn't decide what to start playing last night so I just booted up Borderlands 1, as I'd been meaning to play as a Siren, which I hadn't done yet. I hadn't played the game since probably 2010 or so. I didn't realize just how much better BL2 feels than this. Game is still really good, but it feels like a rudimentary concept of BL2...doesn't seem to be as much variety in what guns do, enemy types, environments, etc. Either way I'm completely addicted to it and already have my character up to level 20.
Guns were arguably better designed/had more variation in BL1. There's technically more possible combinations of guns, too. But, yeah, the skill trees are pretty terrible.

(shrug) I get all 2K games for free... so no fakey'ing anything there for me.  But yea.... anymore... buying early is for real suckers.  I mean it... across the board.  It's a shame that PC's devolved to this point.  Far easier to tow the CAG line (especially with Steam) than anytime I can think of.

Heck, I fakey stuff all the time because I look at it from a "I want it now" perspective.  But in the end, most games get bought and shelved.

I feel like i need to play diablo 3 just so I know wtf people are talking about
Let's be honest, they just substituted the grinding for different items (fragments for conversion mats). Now you get to do ALL bounty runs instead of the commoner act 1 AND have to grind for souls to get the good ancient legendary rolls. I can't say I am excited about season 4 but do like the upcoming 2.3 changes. More bank space is REALLY needed though even moreso with the new changes. I will most likely only go for a season 4 level 70 toon for the rewards and focus on extracting legendary powers with the cube for each class in non-season.

I expect seasons to be even longer due to the 2.3 changes as well so Blizzard won't need to make changes as often. Only the dedicated need apply for each new season. Sorry but no, getting ancients were bad enough having to do each season.

Shit. Life shouldn't have to be this hard.

You must be at least this drunk. . .

. . . to understand any of this Diablo 3 crafting sorcery.

I'm going to be waiting a while to pick up two copies of the D3 expansion because my wife would want to play with me. Just can't be bother to pay $40+ for them right now.

I guess I should, ya know, actually try playing it since I Fakeyed it today but the forum is going nuts with that Grandia port being a hot ass mess. I blacklisted it on IdleMaster so as to not idle for cards with the bundle trash in case I want to refund.

In other fakey news, I just fakeyed Max and Metal Gear.

Where you get metal gear from?

Debating on PS4 vs PC atm....still pissed the Dualshock 4 doesnt work (well) on Win10...X1 controller is an abomination.

PC - $60

PS4 - $38

I got MGS V from a guy on Steam trades for $30. Aside from extreme luck (inb4 Madjoki) or clueless traders (saw one guy who traded it for Rocket League...) I figure that's as good as I'm gonna get.

All this fakeybro talk is misplaced anyway. What you guys are doing with Mad Max and Metal Gear falls under solid-naked-snake-eyeing.
No, ironically that only applies to Ubisoft games.

But speaking of fakeybro

I'm still pretty angry I can't buy MGSV using the Mexican Steam store.

It's $29 there. But my Steam store is Murican, so I can't take advantage of that price, and I'm not sure I could activate a Mexican region gift without triggering the VPN alarm...

That's one place where Origin's got Steam beat, it's way easier to be a fake Mexican. Or a real Mexican trying to be a fake American trying to be a fake Mexican in your case.

Anyway just buying it off someone with an Nvidia code should let you get it at or just a bit more than that price anyway so eh.

... it was cheaper, until they started charging in Gringobux. Now we rarely get any decent sales.

I have Grandia II for Dreamcast...

...in my backlog.

This is cool.

If only getting the files from the VMUs themselves wasn't a colossal pain in the ass without the needed hardware and / or an SD Card mod.

But if you own the original Grandia II PC port, the save files may work too.
I have the VMU reader, though I'm not sure if I have a port it will connect to.

All this fakeybro talk is really annoying

because I have to wait til at least Friday to fakeybro shit =(. Which I will do, because I are the bad at money managements.

I got an email from DIG (Daily Indie Game) and it was all like "we're a year old, have a free Steam copy of Particula".

That's the first +1 I've added to my account in going on two months.

I got that email too. I guess I shouldn't complain about free but I love that they're all Hey we're a year old and want to give you a present. A game currently selling for 19 cents!

The best part of Starbound was where they gave me a "blank" ship.  Oh wait, that was a mod.

Either way, I mined sand for days.  Made a giant pyramid, then put in a Stargate ring, man that thing took at least a week to build properly.

I wonder if it's in my saves still.

hmmmm
