Anyone willing to share an opinion on Blues and Bullets?

Looks like it'd be right up my alley but with so many games to play I'll probably pass if the textures really are as rough as the reviews say. Unless, that is, the story and atmosphere bring something new to the table, in which case I may still consider it.

It's just 'ok'. Doesn't really add anything new to detective style games aside from being in black in white the whole time. Fairly simple aND short. I'm just upset that I didn't get the achievement for looking at everything which people have states a guide isn't really needed to find everything.

Is GoW Ultimate worth it? I figure I won't play MP ever and probably not SP for a while since MgSV is out in a couple days.

I got it for $3 technically, but if I just return it I made $30 by buying it and selling that code. Hard to justify not keeping a $3 game lol

Never played GoW1 more than 1hr back when it came out.

If you really have the itch later on, I'm sure you'll be able to grab it from GS for $3 again in a couple of years.

the campaign in GOW is still good but the main attraction is MP. You can solo the campaign and get all collectibles in 7 or 8 hours. I'd suggest at least beating the game first then getting rid of it if you don't plan on playing Gnashfest 2015.

On second thought, after watching the trailer I'm pretty impressed with the atmosphere they've set up. I love the era it's set in and like the art style they've chosen. I think I'll probably be picking this up eventually, maybe after all the episodes are out and we get a sale on the full package.

 
I really enjoyed Blues and Bullets.  The setting is different than most games and they did a good job of creating a noir atmosphere without it being cheesy.  Also in regards to what Flamed said about that one achievement, you can replay sections of the game to get what you missed.  You just have to finish the section for it to save your collectibles.  I originally missed the bullet that Milton sets down in the diner. 

I plan on buying the rest of the episodes day one because I enjoyed it so much.

 
Btw Whispering Willows was fun too.  Another short game(2-3 hours) that is easily 1k'd.  There is already achievement guides up that would point out the missable achievements.  I just kept on the lookout for them and enjoyed the rest of the story without a guide, started and finished it this morning.

And if anyone wants to, add me on TA. I'm not picky, I'll accept all friend requests :)

 
Right now Gears UEs MP is broken. The SP is A LOT of fun, but I ran through ig on Normal, 3/5 solo, with all COG tags (from memory). So if you're not gonna play it for a while, then wait. Unless you can get it for dirt cheap.

What's wrong with it? I have noticed some bad lag every now and then, but that's about it so far.

Thatso a relief. Hope what I missed was in an earlier chapter. I feel like I may have,missed something in the first chapter but they don't really give you a lot of time to explore in that chapter.

Lag and shotgun being useless. The new aim system doesn't work properly and when you throw in lag, it makes the game broken. And don't listen to what the other guy said about it being fine. You can take 2 seconds to look at the gears forums and see the sea of valid complaints

I really need to play that game again. I think it was still in beta when I tried it and it was pretty fun. I always worry about all the F2P trappings. The IGN review last week seemed to think it's still pretty accessible without microtransactions. I don't necessarily mind paying a bit to support the devs but can't stand games where it becomes an endless money pit.

Did you just day the Shotgun is currently useless? That right there tells me you probably haven't spent any time online with it yet.

I've played over 10 hours online and haven't encountered any issues (other than the gnasher being intentionally op)

When you combine LAG, which happens so often, with the SHOTGUN, the most used weapon in that game, it then BECOMES USELESS. Kids these days, I swear.

Also, again, instead of coming at me when you dont know shit, go ahead and look at the forums and see what the most complained about and most popukar threads are. Go one I'll wait here.

So you looked online and found some people who had some issues and started complaining. Fair enough, I'm sure you could find that with any game that's been released.

Several other people in this forum have also already said they've played extensively and haven't had any issues (myself included) so whatever you're freaking out about with the game can't be that serious or widespread.

I've never experience any lag at all, and I can vouch for my experiences, so why would I need to look at a forum? Again, im sure some people are experiencing issues, as is the case with any game, but something like lag is probably related to people's shitty internet and not the game itself.

I've heard stuff too but never had any problems. The Seagate 1tb drive I was using worked great for the year that I used it. I don't use it anymore on :xb1: since I upgraded to a bigger 2TB my book drive since it was cheap.

I actually took that Seagate drive out of the enclosure and put it in my PS4 last week. The funny thing, the hard drive inside the :ps4: was a Seagate Samsung drive. The same exact one that was in the Seagate enclosure except it was 500gb instead of 1tb.

As others have said, I've heard bad things about Seagate but have no experience with their products myself. Based on the negativity I've seen, I decided to buy the WD passport ultra and have had no issues with it.
 
Spent some Gems on the Survivor Ullr skin in smite, reminds me of the walking dead so it seemed worthy of some in game currency.

Think I'll grab that death machine bakasura and jandroid Janus on tomo sale. I never know what to spend these gems on.

He's right, something is 'off' about the gnasher and it is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes it's death incarnate and your popping heads from 20 ft away, then the next match it sponges point blank shot and sometimes seems like it doesn't shoot anything at all. Your pretty much forced to hard aim as hipfire is borked. Whether or not it relates to TC merging Center screen shooting and barrel shooting I don't know, but it's something they will have to address.

 
I haven't figured out the sweet spot for the gnasher yet either. Earlier tonight I took out a whole team with the gnasher like it was nothing. A few matches later I snuck up behind someone a couple times in a match and shot, nothing at all happened except they had time to turn around and one shot me
 
No, he's right. CLEARLY its my internet. My 30mbps is the cause of the issue. Forget that I never lag in any other game other than destiny and run 100% smooth in every other. You sound like the kids in the destiny forum saying its your connection and not the servers when destiny is a p2p game.

OF COURSE you're gonna get people who say they play fine. Theyre probably located near the limited servers. Even when the game works, its still broke. I can post videos upon videos of the bullshit in the game. Point blank shots missing. Snuck up behind to not even get a hit. The games broke and they didn't do a great job with CSS.
