Yeah, I sold it in two parts though. Arm and Box as one. Game, Steelbook and DLC as the other. Probably more than I would have gotten from selling it whole minus the bonus disc as people who buy the whole package are looking for it complete. The arm and box are selling constantly on their own. The steelbook and DLC are selling constantly too on their own too but I just bundled it with the game.

The DLC codes have been averaging $25-$30 it looks like now. They were going for up to $50ish early this morning.

Finished extra hard difficulty in Force Unleashed 2, wasn't that hard except for a couple of spots. Mind Trick is a life saver as when it is fully leveled up it converts 3 people to your side per cast. So enter a new room, dash to get in range of a weak-minded enemy, cast Mind Trick and it will auto-target the nearest other 2 weak-minded enemies to convert. Cast it 1 or 2 more times, and this causes a massive melee and allows you to pick off the Sith Acolytes and walker tanks which can't be mind controlled.

Just have one more easy misc. trophy and the DLC to do.

 
Played  MK1 online. I got the shit kicked out of me. Played around 10 fights with this guy and in one fight he got 2 Flawless Victories lol, unbelievable. It was fun even though I only got in 1 win. He is damn good.

 
I hate this stupid midnight maintenance window for work, but I like that it gave me an excuse to rock some more foul play while I was working. It's weird that reviews knocked it for being repetitive since it has more variety than most side scrolling brawlers.

No matter how hard I try to find something that interests me, I'm completely underwhelmed by the target mass vita clearance.. vita has no games confirmed. Target could have at least invested in a few good rpgs...

Is the DLC the pre order code BB emailed to me or is their DLC in the CE box you are selling?

FFX patch is live that fixes the RNG and music restart problems. I may have to waste some money on it now in the future just to have the definitive version.

The former. Konami forgot to include the DLC code in the PS4 versions of the CE, so retailers are emailing the code to those who preordered the CE.

In retrospect, I probably should have held on to the code Amazon sent me instead of redeeming it right away.

I played through Act 2 of Foul Play last night.  I'm really digging the game.  The two boss fights have been a little irritating because the adds that are in both are the kind that try to avoid your attack; can make it difficult to build your audience meter before it gets drained by the boss or an add getting in a cheap shot.  Also, every time I get close to the 100x combo I get hit by a cheap shot.

 
Best Buy has a $32 base TIV for Mad Max (and Phantom Pain, but who plans on trading that in?) and a 30% bonus this week that would make it $44.80 after bonuses.

...I think I'll just trade in my $20 (factoring in the $10 cert) copy and pick it up for cheap later on after all the bugs have been patched. I have enough to play as it is.

 
Tried deleting mad max and not installing the current updates to see if maybe the updates broke the mission im on, didnt get a chance to try it again this morning as game was still installing when I had to leave.

If that doesnt fix it, I doubt I take the time to replay that 8 hours ive already played and just trade it back in and maybe pick it up again when its 20 or less in a few months.

Havent had a game breaking bug hit me in a long time so really pissing me off, but oh well.

I really liked the game ive played so far, just not enough to replay 8 hours cause of shitty coding by Avalanche that created a game breaking bug where I cant progress the story.

I didn't realize they'd actually made changes other than porting it to the PS4. This gives some good looks at the graphical improvements:

The Vita comparison seems pretty off, though. That's the version I have and the screenshots they're using are nowhere near as good as the game appears on my end. Maybe it's just because the image is so blown up, I dunno, but the PS3 quality seems really poor in these shots as well.

 
I've got a couple of BB 50% off video game guide coupons. Anything flippy I can do with those? I never pay attention to guides, but know people have talked about it in here a couple times in the past.

Not that I can see. Your best option is to use them on OOP guides that have become valuable, but I can't think of any that Best Buy would still be selling.

 
Well this is already starting out as a weird day.  A friend got an appointment with a doctor yesterday and by 5pm was in the OR to get one of his boys removed because of a growth it had on it.  He seems to be in good spirits, but that had to have been one crazy day and I am sure he is worried about upcoming test results.

Bad shit always seems to happen to good people.

Yeah life sucks sometimes. You never know what the next day will bring. So eat and drink and do whatever the fuck you want. We are all dead eventually anyway.

 
Despite Kilik's issue and Tyler complaining about load times I really like Mad Max so far.  The only long load times are when you start the game and when you die.  I havent been bothered by any others so far.  And I havent died much so maybe Tyler just sucks?  The world and draw distance is HUGE and so far still havent seen any pop in.  The wasteland looks fantastic as long as you dont look at the textures up close.

I havent gotten to that mission yet that Kilik is stuck on so we will see if that causes me any issue.

It's hard for me to get excited about it because I don't want to bother with physical carts for the system (partly because i invested in a 64GB memory card) and I don't have any interest in portable Minecraft (which is just a code).

Yeah Mad Max is pretty good. Combat is basically just Australian Batman. Driving works well enough, world is a bit big. There's a lot of fast travel points, but there's still a decent amount of mindless driving. I actually don't think the game looks all that great at all. It performs admirably, but like Pharm said, don't look at the textures. And load times are really long when you die. And it's a gigantic collectathon if you are trying to get 100%.

And I'm a lot farther than both Kilik and Wren so I don't suck.
