Burnout Paradise ultimate bundle is a steal at $6, the big surf island DLC is a significant addition to the map and the rest of the car packs are fairly unique. Disc based saves don't work with the PSN version of the game though, but even $6 is a good price for just the DLC bundle to use with the disc version.
I've brought this up before, but since I already own Big Surf Island and the (free) Bikes Pack, I'd be paying $6 for 30 trophies and have to start from scratch after putting in 5-7 hours. I'm not sure that's worth it.

Possibly my favorite Deadspin NFL preview of the season:

Tyler, I'm interested to read your Ascendant review once you publish it because Destructoid didn't give a very favorable score: http://www.destructoid.com/review-ascendant-309645.phtml

4.5/10 seems a bit harsh, though their rating scale is more from a "Was this game fun?" perspective.
I'm actually probably not reviewing it, I just bought it in the PSN trade thread for $4.

I only played a bit of it, it seems fun. That review is weird. It's like he doesn't know what a roguelike is, despite mentioning it at the start of the review. This game isn't a Metroidvania in any way. Just because there is a map doesn't make it a Metroidvania.

Every time I read metroidvania and indie in the same review, I get a seizure.
This phrasing is bad:

While Ascendant is a hack and slash first and foremost, it follows a metroidvania style, with a boxed-base map. It's only an illusion however, as most of the game's rooms are standard challenge rooms, with very little in the way of actual exploration.
I don't get how it "follows a metroidvania style" at all. He goes right on to say it's an illusion and that the game has very little exploration, but I don't know why he would throw the word "Metroidvania" in there in the first play.

Mad Max has a map! Metroidvania of the year!

So I finally picked up Burnout.... May want some boosting help from others at some point....
I still have a few to earn (mostly Big Surf Island stuff), so I'll try to help out. I'd rather we not coordinate anything too soon, though, since MGS V and Mad Max are likely to take me more than a month to get through.

That's just it though I feel like I don't even use them enough to keep a spare. I'm inclined to see if I can get $150 or more though for my intial $70 which would be worth it.
My luck the guy would then ask for his money back 6 months later and I would be out the money. Actually I would move the money and let Paypal sit and spin. I wouldn't even want them back after that. I rather not deal with Fleabay/Paypal for maybe $35 profit. I probably should just cancel them.

The stuff I am thinking of getting are games I've already played through without trophies RE: Revelations and Peace Walker. Not sure I'd actually replay them though.

I'd probably pick up Jak&Daxter Collection on Vita despite it's shitty-ness of ports if it was $9.99 or less. $13.49 feels like too much.

My point exactly... probably won't be till next year... Not to mention soon NHL, FIFA, NBA, Battlefront, and of course Fall out

I have gotten my oldest hooked on Metal Slug in the arcade, so I might buy those.  I might get Ikari Warriors too because that game was awesome.

Outside of that and things I already have, a lot of junk in all those pages of options.

The original BioShock for $4 is also an awesome price, even if Therm ruined the final boss for everyone here.

total bs that mgs2 vita isn't on sale, I could've returned my target clearance copy.

I keep hoping that some glitch will appear with re rev 2 where if you've played the disc copy and buy the first episode the whole game is unlocked.  But alas, no such luck yet.

Could only find a Japanese trailer.

I know, no trophies, but it is on sale so rarely you should probably research if it is for you and make a purchase if you think it is.

Considering the good PoP on sale is the bundle that includes the Epilogue (which is a crazy $9.99 standalone), I might just buy that and offload my physical copy somehow despite it likely worth pennies.

RE4 is great and it's crazy that so many of you haven't played it.

But yeah, you gotta think another HD remaster is coming to this gen at some point. It's basically all Capcom is doing anymore.

It sounds like a lot of the bad reviews of Red Goddess came from its bugs and stuff. But I can't find anything about if the game has been patched at all. Doesn't help that the dev's twitter feed is mostly in Spanish.

I played the fantastic Wii version. And yeah, I'll just wait for a PS4 version.

I know we've talked about this before, but just humor me. Which is the good PoP game?

I would definitely be all over yet another iteration of RE4. If they decide to do it they'll have to actually add something this time, so I'd bet they'd throw in non-tank controls and maybe updated textures. But I'd be shocked if they don't finish remastering the rest of their RE catalog save ORC before they do 4 again.

Prince of Persia.

And yeah check out Jeanne D'Arc if you haven't played it and like sRPGs. I still need to finish it but just put it down because I realized I couldn't play it at home on the couch because there are animated movies without subtitles. Kinda fucks up enjoying the story. Eventually it'll bubble up my priorities list for games to play at work, though.

Yeah I'd be all over it too because it's an awesome game.

What else is there for them to do besides 3, 5, 6? Are there lots of offshoots? I think they would remaster 4 before doing 5 or 6.

I found this from July 19. https://shigerureviews.wordpress.com/2015/07/19/red-goddess-inner-world-post-patch-video/

edit - It looks like that may be for the Wii U version, so who knows.

Earlier, we posted a video about Red Goddess: Inner World, but we were quickly informed that the video was before the game’s recent patch. The developer had now provided us with a more up to date video of the game. You can check it out below:
