Pretty sure? I tried to delete everything when I noticed it and couldnt get them off of the library. I can try it again someday.
it should take it totally out of your library unless the disc is in the ps4 or you have dlc able to download. Like I have some bf hardline dlc but not the disc installed or in the ps4 but it still shows up in the library. I just wish I could take out demos aka the tembo demo you guys fooled me into getting, lol

also wish I could delete the ps now button cuz I never want to use that again

also wren you can make it so that your front page goes on forever and doesn't get rid of games/tiles

Yeah so we cant get rid of the dlc to get hardline out of the library?

Yeah I figured you could change the front to allow more or less games to show, but I dont want more. I want something I can go to and sort. It shouldnt be that hard for fucks sake. At least the library is in alphabetical order by default. So that helps.

Also the library still shows disc games that I deleted like Shadow Warrior and GTA. Thats just dumb. Even if I have a save file still I dont need to see these games in the library since I cant do anything with them.
Did you try taking the disc out? :whistle2:k

There are a billion indie or small games coming out now.   These guys all want to be the next Angry Birds.

Newsflash:  It aint gonna happen.

I am going to my daughter's school for curriculum night.  I told my team I am leaving work early for this.  At 330.  I did not tell them I dont need to be there until 530.  I plan on going to Dunderbak's for some beer.  I hope to be feeling real good talking to the teachers and other parents.  Her teacher last year was this nerdy younger chick that had huge tits.

If she grazes your leg, that's the green light for you.

Another article about a indie dev with disappointing game sales.

Sounds like he has his head screwed on a lot better than the N++ game, but I think he's still overvaluing his product. He claims it has a "gorgeous" art style, which is just a bit of a stretch. It looks like a mobile game. Also gamers are fatigued of the genre.
Jesus, Tyler, lern to read!

If you read the reviews, you’ll find that this also is probably not the case. As previously mentioned, the game universally scored around 70-80%. Positives included its gorgeous artstyle, wonderful soundtrack, and innovative gravity-shifting gameplay.
"read the reviews" has a link in each word to a different review, and that's where he's sourcing the positive comments from. Granted none of them actually use the word gorgeous, but he's paraphrasing the linked reviews from this:

  1. +Wonderful artistry throughout the game
  2. Visually, the game also looks amazing. There are some really great bright colours that jump out and then for some of the darker levels the game really knows how to make the entire level just seem… depressed. I really liked the art style and found that it really felt right for this game. Yeah, your octopus just looks like a blob with ridiculously cute eyes. But it works for the tone of the game.
  3. Airscape has some great visuals that boast vibrant colors but also sharp cartoonish textures and some great designs in terms of characters and backgrounds. The only minor downside is that, in some levels, especially those that are darker, it gets a bit harder to distinguish projectiles like bullets.
The sound and gameplay had similar comments in the linked reviews.

I thought the article was actually very well-stated and that he did a good job capturing the core problem; the game was done well, the press was handled right, and there was all the opportunity in the world for the game to succeed except that they didn't make a game anybody cared about.

like only for this

also where was the hot teachers at when we was in school
Yeah I figured. And I think a lot of it has to do with perspective. At 36 years old now I find this girl attractive. But we have to remember she is in her early 20s and I am in my mid 30s. When I was in my 20s I wouldnt have give this chick a second look. Well I would have but only to look at her chest.

Two days in a row they are closing the schools early here due to the heat and humidity. For some bizarre reason there are still a lot of schools in our county that do not have air conditioning, including our middle school (the high school has AC).

You read the comments on this one? Comments are on point really, the art style doesn't really seem to lend itself at all to the kind of game they ended up making. I know I wouldn't go into a cutesy mobile looking title expecting to get my ass handed to me constantly. Looks like it costs $10 too, seems interesting enough, but not really the kind of game I'd just drop $10 on.

When you are playing the same game simultaneously on PS3, PS4, and Vita it becomes even more clear just how much slower the PS3 is at doing anything.  I am always doing the stuff on the PS3 first, then PS4, and then Vita.  The Vita is still getting to the next part well before the PS3 even with that huge head start.

$10 for that game? Bullshit. Was Angry Birds even that much when it released?
Pretty sure when it first released it was 99 cents (pretty sure they had a "free" version too). Angry birds has a lot to do with lucky timing. There were a lot of games released before that were basically the same exact games (I reviewed a bunch of Angry Bird type games before angry birds even released) but Angry Birds were able to release as the right window so it was able to stay at the top of new releases for a lot longer. They probably were able to get all their promo codes to download at the same time (which factored into their total downloads) which in turn got them to the top/hot games sections which guarantees a shit load of downloads. And the rest is kind of history.

He says marketing wasn't a failure, but i disagree. Part of it is not just the act of marketing, but making choices during development to make the game more marketable. One of the reasons review outlets probably weren't interested is the name, Airscape: The Fall of Gravity, is awful nonsense that doesn't convey anything of substance about the gameplay and the main character is exceptionally bland. As he mentions near the bottom of the post, it's important to a game that something about it sticks out, and nothing about the game sticks out (other than perhaps the physics engine which can't be conveyed through screenshots, only video), Review sites took one look, decided it didn't have much chance of breaking out, so they decided not to bother expending any resources on reviewing it.

It must be hard for a small, PC only indie dev as people will just assume its going to be in a humble bundle eventually (especially since it was already on the humble store). There is also just a huge volume of releases on steam that it is easy to get lost in the shuffle, especially when your bland looking game doesn't leave much of an impression.

What's with the Angry Birds obsession, Pharm?
Its the biggest indie game every no? I think its a good example. And see below as to why these indie devs are crazy. angry Birds got lucky and these douche bags all think they are going to get that lucky.

Yep, all luck basically. Many rich people are lucky. Being good at what you do is like 25% of being rich.

We don't like the word slow, we prefer "challenged".

I thought I was pretty clear that I was referring to getting older and lowering your standards. Younger women (not kids) all start looking more attractive than the same girl would have looked to you as a 20 year old.

Pretty sure Minecraft would be the biggest indie. Angry Birds was crazy popular and may have more downloads. In terms of purchases though with so many people playing the free version of Angry Birds, I would think Minecraft would beat it out easily.

Okay fine. I dont really care. you can use Minecraft in your examples.

Is the CAG Survior thing where you just pick a team and if they win you're in and if they lose you're out? If so I'd be up for that.
Pretty much. You pick a team for the week. If they win, you stay in to pick next week. They lose, you're out for the year. You can only pick a team once per year. Last one standing wins.

Everyone should know by now the best way to make a successful indie/mobile game is to invest in to building a time machine and then make your game 5+ years ago when there wasn't a billion of them.

They're doing weekly letters of the alphabet in preschool this year. This week is D week. She brought home a paper today that said "Big D, little d".

I wouldn't mind giving her teacher, Miss Megan, the D.

Or just go back and pull a move like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs did to Xerox. Give the Minecraft guy and Angry Birds guys a wad of cash to get in at the start when they were clueless about what they had.

Notch made a billion+ from Minecraft, so, yeah, way bigger than Angry Birds. But Notch. He's feeling sad these days. Too much lifestyle change, apparently.

Though that's true of most every entertainment industry. Loads of people think they have what it takes to be the next best star athlete, actor, singing sensation, etc. and 99% of them are wrong. Either they aren't talented enough or luck will be cruel to them.

It's not just people, dozens and dozens of new TV shows fail every year, whether it stops production at pilot stage or makes it to air and is cancelled in the first season. Even those that survive to another year, a large percentage of them don't make it through the second year. Those that do are often just limping along year to year barely keeping above water. There are only ever a handful of genuine breakout hits with huge ratings. The TV graveyard is full of great shows which were cancelled early because no one watched them.

THAT one.

Make sure you have enough scrap (600+) to do both builds you gotta do without leaving gutgash for the second part (second part is 100 i think)

Munky finished the story already, im almost done. FYI for you guys playing, fairly spoilerish but will help you in the end maybe?

once you get to the part where you have to win a race by beating a specific car in this arena area, make SURE your car is really built up before doing it, the game prompts you about it too but definitely make sure your car is pretty high on defense to make easier and try your best to blow up the car you need to blow up on the first lap, after that good luck...Took me like 10 trys, its pretty annoying.

Tried to be a little obtuse so i dont spoil anything too bad, but that info make my hardest part of story easier for yall
Yeah, that mission was kind of a pain.
The time I beat it, one of the other cars somehow managed to immediately got in front of the main car and kept it going slowly the whole time so I was able to blow it up without worrying too much about the driving stuff.

So for all you Mad Max players, have you been clearing out all of the salvage spots on the map as you go? I don't know if I'm going to be able to get every last spot on the map. It's just way too much.
