Mad max peeps ----  Got to a ballon in gutgash's territory where I had to blow open the door.  Once inside there is a knee high ledge I can't go over, and just beyond that is one of those places that you are supposed to climb, I can't find how to get to it to start climbing to the balloon.  Anyone know which one I am talking about and what to do?

I also had a scavenge place that I got all but on scrap, looks like the one scrap is on top of some rock but I can't seem to find the right path to climb it either.  Really wish there were a jump button in this game.

There is a jump button (L2), but it's more of a hop button.

As mentioned there is a jump button but it doesnt do much. I have no idea what your talking about on the first one but the second one is probably a camp I just did recently. If its the same one you should see a small "bridge" above you when you first enter the camp. Go back outside the camp and runa round the left side and you should see a path to a step up thingy and then work around to that bridge, but be careful as it is small and if you fall you might die. I did my first time.

It was a camp and not just a scavenge spot though so it may be different. Look for stuff like that though if you ever have trouble reaching a location.

This is why I still love searching the locations in this game though. So many out of the way places and every location is STILL COMPLETELY DIFFERENT in layout and design.

So last night I finished rewatching the first 5 seasons of Community.  There's still no good way to get yahoo screen to play season 6 on my TV (no app on ps3/4, the android app doesn't work with chromecast), but I thought I'd give it a try on my laptop anyway.  The first couple of minutes worked fine, then the theme song and then I think it was supposed to go to a commercial after that.  Instead it skipped the commercial, turned the captions off, and removed the button to put the captions back on.  fuck yahoo.  You'd think they'd have ironed out all the bugs by now.

It's going to be $29.99 if anyone cares. Not sure we have a lot of horror fans here. I guess their last game was super well received.
I don't really know anything about the game but I watched a cut-for-spoilers let's play of the steam preview or something and man it looks pretty good. Not necessarily my cup of tea, but pretty tense.

Since tyler dont want them, offer up to the rest of the thread before I cancel.

I got a pair of 20th Anniversary Golds at Amazon that release on 9/18. They are 71 shipped, if anyone wants them before I cancel let me know. Just send me amazon giftcard for the amount and i'll have amazon ship them to you.

Just shoot me a pm, might miss a post in here.

Did you try allcast? Its an app that works with stuff to make it cast to a chromecast, worth a shot?

I agree with pharm, pretty neat how every single location is completely different, no two are exactly alike.

That being said, the camps can get fucking annoying with the scrap and insignia placements.

100% Xeodrift ps4 woot

It was alot harder than I expected. My son kept wanting to fight the bosses and it was pretty sad to watch him get crushed.

Ill do the vita version during some trophy head vita hour so I can enjoy it more

Until Dawn - Yeah try to play this in one sitting. My wife and kids and I all played it and started at 6 last night and got done around 1am. Also if you have a wife/kids have them play instead ;) I still havnt played the game at all, I just got to chill and watch them and it was 1000x more fun to have them scream and freak out and figure who is dead/alive/back from the dead. I would yell random choices etc but my daughter and wife played the whole time and it was awesome.

also Exo Zombies Easter Egg -  We tried for 3 hours to get this yesterday but my buds and I couldn't get it done. I ended up being the boss with knowing all the steps and pulling off the jump puzzles but still no luck in getting it finished because we were getting swarmed by zombies. still tons of fun

I tried to reset my espn password since I don't know it, and the link they provide in the email to reset it doesn't work. Gives me a page that says this:

{{ 'lightbox-client' | l10n:'clnt_ar2_mase_accounts_for' }} {{ emailAddress }}
Never mind. That was in Firefox, worked in Safari. I put in my week 1 pick and am ready to lose because I totally just went with my home team!

A few of my local Redbox I think had this. And I have a free code good through tomorrow. Not sure I will have the time this weekend but if I do I might try to play through this.

Hey - my local redboxes are finally carrying PS4 games! I could put a hold on that Until Dawn if I wanted to. Probably won't, but at least I've got the option now.

Yeah, screw D Horse. D dog is where it's at.
The real MVP of the game. Wait until you unlock his stun dress, once you develop a rapport with DD using it, it helps greatly.

I know I sound like a broken record, but if this is Kojima's swansong, it deserves to be remembered as one of the best (or Best Game) of the 2010s.

So if it isnt his swansong it doesnt deserve to be remembered as one of the best games?

Sounds like there's a decent shot I should be able to snag a Bowser Jr tomorrow.
My sources tell me there's a surplus of Bowser Jrs at my local TRU and I guess nationwide. I mean, angry nerds will probably try and get multiples, but the artificial scarcity is over I think.

Who knows if Konami will try and retain him? Sales have been over the roof. And if he made another one...

Being his last Metal Gear elevates it and I think inflated sales a bit. Because for all its critical acclaim, this series has always been niche and has catered to a certain audience, in comparison to your CoDs and Halos.

I am hoping some of you game sharing vets can give me some insight into how the account things work.  I am thinking about getting a second PS3 for my son since that bundle at Gamestop is pretty damn cheap.  I want to let him play on his own account going forward in case he wants to play a game I do not want on my profile.  However, I want him to have access to all the games I have already bought digitally.  Is it as simple as having my account as primary on the console he us using?  Do I have to remove it as primary from mine if I do?  Are there any disadvantages to doing that?

Yeah, just add your account to his PS3. You can have 2 PS3s on each account, so there's no downside. There's no primary account stuff on the PS3--that's PS4 only. He'll just have to switch users to your account in order to set stuff downloading from your account and also remember to switch back to his own account afterwards for trophies and such.

Edit: Actually there's one downside. When you queue downloads from the web store it goes to every PS3 on your account. That's annoying. Not a big deal, though, and doesn't hurt at all if you don't use that approach anyway.

Yeah just activate your account on his PS3 and he'll be good to go. You can have it active on 2 PS3s at the same time so don't need to deactivate yours or anything.

Yes. No. No.

Yeah I hope so. After this wave there are maybe 5 more I want and I'll be good to go. They really need to do a Samus reprint.

My buddy swears by Quiet as a buddy, but I'm not really sure if she's better than D-Dog. I've been using her lately to see what the fuss is. The fact that she can only scout out certain parts of the map is a definite drawback. D-Dog it seems marks EVERYTHING on your map within a certain radius from you, but I don't have his nonlethal unlocked yet (need to get a "Secruity" level of 20.. I don't even have a security team). Using Quiet is really awesome when she's set up right, though. I tell her to fire and then all the guards are distracted trying to find her, making it super easy for me to walk up behind them and take 'em out.

I haven't tried D-Walker yet. Not sure if I'm missing out.

I had no idea until 10 people responded.

What I was going to do for my brother is put my account on his ps3 and then download the games he wanted to play. Then make sure the password wasn't saved for my account on his ps3. Then set his account to launch when ps3 is turned on.

Btw for Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth1; the touchscreen approach I linked to yesterday doesn't work at all for targeting multiple enemies. It just focuses you on a single enemy at a time. The d-pad left and right buttons do let you do a full 360-degree rotation, though, and is the right way to adjust the hit box position.

Also I died for the first time this morning. Found out that enemies marked orange on the map will crush my party. Turning on a harder enemies plan didn't help. Whoopsie.

D-Walker is very useful when you need to bring heavy firepower(you will need it, trust me). It also helps it has a vehicle mode and can be upgraded to operate independently. Quiet is good as far as she can see, which sucks because her perch locations are dumb. DD's radar like function and attack commands makes him great to play with. Nothing like driving with DD on the passenger seat marking everything.

Your account only needs to be on his ps3 in order for your games to be accessed. I was thinking of doing the exact same thing for my brother. The only thing is he will have to access your account in order to download the games so he'd have to be careful and never launch the game while using your account.

That last part was my exact plan if it could work like that. Sounds like it does.

I would download quite a few games that he already plays initially. Then I assume maybe add a game once a month when the new plus stuff comes out if it is something he might want or the rare occasion when I get something for him that is on sale digitally.

yeah that's where i got my free copy last night

it took like 3-4 hours before the first trophy popped tho, so don't expect any 'easy' trophies. also all trophies are hidden, lol. but it's good to go in without knowing anything about the game. Don't check a trophy guide or anything til post game or you are gonna spoil something

Oh PS3, how I've missed you. Crashing on the PSN store and forcing me to do a hard restart and very slowly checking for corrupted data on the hard drive. It really brings me back!
Why would you ever boot up the store on the PS3? It's a lot easier and quicker to log into the website and put things in your download queue there. Then turn on the PS3 and let it auto-download.

Yep, that's the way I believe you should do it. At least he lives in the same house as you so when he wants a new game downloaded you can do it fast and easy. My brother lives 20 minutes away and I'm too lazy to visit him that often these days.

I expect you already spoiled something by saying people come back to life...

Why does this seem weird to me? I've done both and never thought that the website was easier or better. Every time I've done it from the website I've cancelled or paused the download when I started my ps3 because I want to play a game not wait for a download to finish. I'm old and impatient though.

And think of all the fighting game trophies you could boost in-house!

Congratulations, you're now as far as I am in terms of plot (I replayed Mission 1 to get a few more Mission Tasks done; I still have one more to get plus the S-rank to earn). Isn't it 2 buttons to call your horse (L1 + R3 after moving the right stick to Call D-Horse)?
this sounds ... complicated.
You gotta work for that D.

Yeah, screw D Horse. D dog is where it's at.
But.. Tactical Shitting!

It helps that this has also been the most accessible Metal Gear ever. You can really just run and gun/cover mechanic it if you really wanted, which I'm sure many do.

It additionally helps that its one of the first real current gen experiences.
