AssCreed Black Flag is on sale for 75% off at an AssLoad of different places, along with some other ubistuff.  EwwPlay keys, obviously.

Gamesrepublic is $4.99.  Funstock is $4.83 after voucher: SEP-COUPMAIL-HOT20.  Gamebillet is probably close after their GBITADEU25 voucher, but i'm too lazy to find my login info for that place.

Anyone have the Gold Edition on sale?

I believe Shelter 2 and the various packs with it are much cheaper in Putin land, if anyone cares.
Vlad cares:

Buy Shelter 1 and Shelter 2 for $13.74 total or buy "The Heart Edition (1&2) for $14.99

Oh, Gamersgate...

I might Putin S2 though. Maybe. Someone go tell me how much it is.

I'm on a bus on a phone heading to work. Let one of the people who sit at home all day in a chat room check. :p

Tomasety? Spoder? Madjoki?

Unless there's a glitch that you can rub in our faces for the next 9 years about why didn't we get that game that one time it was 3 rupees on Gamersgate at 3am our time for 3 minutes.

It's just under $4 there, still seems too high for me. While browsing through our comrades store I did see that Shadow of Mordor GOTY is under $7. It was even delivered by a shirtless Vlad, gotta love that service!

I'm waiting for the Freedom Cry DLC to hit 75% off on Steam, as I already have the base game there.

Do any of you bros have or know somebody who has an extra copy of Lara Croft Temple of Osiris from the recent sale?  I promised the bros I'd pay it with them this weekend and then Gilby'd it.  I tried Steamtrades, but fuck those guys and their insane prices.

And then there's the consolers bragging about saving $5 after trading in their family to Gamestop's sweatshop program; and getting 'free' indie games for paying a fee to be able to play online at all. Those same indie games that are never ever going to be in a Humble Bundle.

Awfully tempted by Trials Fusion for $4.99.

Less tempted by having to add another $10 for the Season Pass + Awesome DLC.

edit: looks like the MAX edition includes the Season Pass. Mildly tempted again.
Mildly tempted seems a good description, to me.

Holy shit, I've been waiting forever for that to be 75% off on Steam, huge bonus that it's the Awesome Max edition. I can't believe there's a daily deal that I actually want.

I was looking at this as well. The user reviews and poor reported performance convinced me to pass on Fusion and buy Evolution.

Evolution has been reported to have poor performance too for some people, not sure how much worse it can be for Fusion. Still, I liked Evolution so $10 was worth it to try out Fusion, and get all of the DLC in the process.

fwiw, I had some pretty terrible performance with Evolution on my old computer (2.5ghz/GTX460). Massive frame drops anytime something exploded, which was curiously often for a motorcycle racing game.

At last! I could sell a foil for a decent price (decent by today's standards of course). Got a Green Dragon Foil and sold it for aprox 13$.

Great deal on the entire Fusion package. Theres a lot of gameplay in it + theres user made tracks which add to it even more. It runs excellently as well, at least for me (FX-8350/R9270X) easily able to ultra everything and maintain 60 FPS at 1080p throughout the entire thing. $10 for the base/SP/Awesome Max is a good buy if you're at all interested in it. It wont go lower at Black Friday/Winter.

It does require uPlay, so if you're one of those weirdos who refuse to use anything outside of Steam, then you're a moron and shouldnt get it.

Yeah, and if it gets humble bundled it probably won't have any DLC included and won't be a steam key. I think this is the best deal we'll see on it until a MSRP drop or glitch

I'll probably get crucified for this but I actually preferred Urban Trial Freestyle over Ubi's Trials games. Ubi's Trials games reminded me too much of Michael Bay movies - lots of explosion and lens flare and not much else.

Isn't that Max DLC where you can run around riding a god damned unicorn?

SOLD

I mean it seems like it would be like Secret of the Magic Crystals: The Race except not suck.

I'll never understand why some people prefer Urban Trial Freestyle.. I tried it on Steam and Vita, thought it was garbage compared to Trials Evolution. Haven't tried Fusion yet, but I doubt I'd prefer Urban Trial over it.

Madness. Urban Trial is garbage in comparison. There is no nuance to the gameplay whatsoever. The physics are weak, the tracks lack any sort of flair, and it generally plays like Trials' mentally stunted cousin.

Better. You're a CAT riding a unicorn. I have a bit of a gripe with it though, the Unicorn Physics™

are kind of awkward, it plays fine, but sometimes it looks like you're riding a fake unicorn.

I'm with zenii on this. I liked Urban Trials Freestyle a lot. That said, which Trials am I buying?

Trials Fusion Max, right?
Yea, Trials Fusion Awesome Max Edition is the whole shabang. Has the Fusion Base, all the Season Pass content, and the Awesome Max DLC. Its 9.99. The mixed reviews are largely skewed because It didnt launch with multiplayer and a lot of people were complaining. It has it now.

I've been trying to play Kingdoms of Amalur the past day or so and jesus is it so boring. Most generic world, art style, etc. Combat is okay for an open world rpg but it grows stale quickly since everything around it is so mediocre

Fusion Max, because leaderboards.

Evolution has leaderboards as well, but i'm pretty sure spoderman already hax'd his way to the top of those.

The hell is wrong with you people, and you're buying both Evolution and Trials Fusion Max (unless you already have Evolution).
Whaddya mean, "you people"?

Also, why would I need both? It's the same game, right?

Spoder is worst CAG.

I don't usually buy racing games but Spoder's enthusiasm makes me want to gilby these.
Its not a traditional racing game. You dont have AI opponents except the clock to get medals on certain tracks. Its very addicting and the physics are brutal on the higher difficulty tracks. The only traditional racing is in multi and even there there are trick tracks and things like that. My personal favorites are the ATV tracks, and the ones where you're going for highest combo scores on the bike (the tracks are awesome with huge jumps) and the tracks which add in things like your bike is on fire and you have to maintain a certain speed so as not to blow up.

I put over 300 hours into the first Trials game that was on 360 Arcade back when they did that Summer of Arcade thing the first time. Love the series.

Oh and dont get it unless you have a controller. Its painful on KB.

I'm always weary of Ubisoft optimization. Assassin's Creed 1 ran poorly altogether. Assassin's Creed 2 drops well into the low 30s on my system, and the LOD is really bad. Brotherhood is definitely a better port, as it looks and runs better while 3 is quite terrible, as running it maxed out results in dips below 20fps. Black Flag is an improvement over 3, looking and running better and in a more consistent pattern. Watch Dogs is also trash in terms of optimization. GTA V and Sleeping Dogs both curb stomp it.

If you thought Watch Dogs was something w/ performance issues, wait until you see AC Unity...

I liked it, but I seem to be in the minority. I posted a long review elsewhere that no one wants to read.

It's people like you that made 38 Studios fold. Are you proud of yourself? You made Curt Schilling cry.

I also liked KOA: Reckoning, even despite it being easy + not having a lot of personality w/ its characters & storylines.

Dead Kel was had more personality than a good majority of most of the base-game content.

I liked Amalur a lot too.  My problem was playing it with a controller so I only had access to 4 skills which sucks.  Also, doing too many side quests kind of burned me out, should have just skipped most of them.

If it makes you feel better, the motion blur in that game gave me crazy bad motion sickness/vertigo. I had to stop playing it.
