Welp, UC1 remastered is all wrapped up minus Crushing and the Speed Run trophies.  I have to say it looks really sharp on PS4 and is a blast to be playing through the series again.  Gonna try and stagger UC2 and UC3 a bit to avoid burning myself out though.

First issue with God of war vita. Both rear and front touch screens stopped responding. Had to shut down and reboot the system for it to start working again. How would that happen?

even when I backed out to the main vita screen the touch screen djdmt work. How does the game make the whole screen not work even when outside the game?
IDK, I know before the PS4 games could (and did) frequently crash the whole system. Haven't seen that on PS4 so far. The main issue I had with that game was the trophies stopped popping. I had already played maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of it on my PS3 and didn't really feel the Vita version was worth restarting.

Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

And I finally beat super meat boy. Except I didn't because there's still cotton alley and the dark world. Still better than I thought I'd do. I picked off the first 3 or 4 cotton alley levels and it's still fun so I'll probably keep it around to poke at from time to time.

It's amazing how violent and gruesome Corpse Party is just via great sound design, voice acting, and very descriptive text. Aces for whomever did the translation. Almost none of the violence is on screen but the presentation gets the gears of your imagination turning so that you can picture it in your mind which is so much worse than anything they could have showed you.
Are you playing the first one right now?

Football is so crazy. The saints didn't look all that good avai St the bucs and they made Atlanta look pretty bad for the most part.

God I love football.

Nevada banned daily fantasy. What a joke. It's okay to have the biggest gambling city in the world but online fantasy football is somehow bad? Gotta love politics and hypocracy.

I'm about to sing Three Little Pigs by Green Jello/Jelly at karaoke. May this beer lubricate my vocal cords like it lubricated the scoring machine that was my fantasy team tonight.

Just for reference, the Cubs won the season series vs the Mets 7-0.

The Mets better pay Murphy this winter. If not, he'd look good in a Braves uniform.
I don't know if they will. They've been high on Dilson Herrera, who is only 21 and did well in AAA last year where he spent half the year, other half was with the Mets when Murph and others were on the DL. So they either go with Herrera next year or try to resign Murph (maybe offer a 1 year qualifying deal) and then figure out what to do with Herrera.

Falcons are tough to guage. They built their 5-0 record up with 4th qtr comebacks against sub par teams. And they've got Freeman playing out of his mind. They will have an inflated record all year due to very weak competition. If they get a home playoff game, which they should, they can make some noise post season. But I can't see them winning on the road.

They could also use him as insurance if Wright has any more injury problems. I'm sure some team will offer him way more than he's sensibly worth just due to his postseason play alone.

Whoever recently finished unmechanical extend: which direction from the heart is the last area? I have three out of the four light balls but I waited too long between plays and now I don't remember where I've been and where I started.

blood bowl 2 postmortem (spoiler'd for boring):

this game is dumb, let's just get that out in the open.  it's like what some stereotypical tabletop rpg nerd concocted - 'what would it be like if we combined football with dungeons and dragons races and dice rolling...?' except the nerd had no idea how football works.

that said, I ended up enjoying the game and I'll probably re-borrow it from the library to play some more.  the strategy is bigger/better than I expected with the differences in teams and their strengths / weaknesses really requiring different tactics.  It sounds like playing against real people over the internets is awful since everyone just spends endless hours playing and building up their team to have blocks/dodges on everyone so that you can never accomplish anything worthwhile, but the AI is just good enough to bring a challenge and be entertaining.  the AI even has an underlying hint of 'fuck you' when you're ahead and the game is almost over - it seems like it just runs around trying to permanently injure your team instead of trying to stop you from scoring.  funny.

I'll admit the most fun part of the game is smashing people.  I don't get a charge from playing one of the nimble teams and lightly prancing past all the defenders.  I like to build up a wall of monsters and smash the shit out of the other team until they're ko'd or dead.  it's an effective strategy for me.

like I said before the worst part is how long the matches take (30-45m+ each) with no saving in between halves or anything.  suspend mode is a godsend.  I initially hated the luck aspect of it being a dice roller, but once I embraced it as part of the game then it really does make it better as a strategy game.

so, pretty good.  _definitely_ not for most people (wren).  has nothing to do with football.  it makes me a little sad that I enjoyed a tabletop game, but what's a bitch gonna do.

if anyone for some bizarre reason decides to play it some time give me a holler.  the learning curve felt really high to a dope like me but I think that I could explain it to someone else pretty well now.

I'm still vaguely interested in this, but only on the cheap. Had no idea it was gonna be real tabletop gameplay. I thought it was just turn based elf football or something.

This is why I finish a game before moving on to others unless I never plan on playing again.

I dont remember but I think it was upper right.

Use a guide. Suck it Tyler.

Wow, there's a lot of touch screen and vita tilting going on in the first Rayman Legends level. Is there gonna be a bunch of that?

A copy is waiting for me at the library, but I'm not going to pick it up until Monday. I'd be up for online at some time if we both have it at any point. Not sure how long the loan period is from our library.

I think upper right is the area you go to after you finish the heart. I thought the last ball for the heart was left? maybe?
