New thread here.

Minimum is $0.25 and $1.00 or more will unlock a Steam key (when applicable). Beat the current average for bonus content.

How it works:
  • New game every 96 hours. Check back every 4 days for a brand new featured indie game.
  • Pay what you want. Every sale allows you to pick your own price and helps fund indie developers.
  • Support charity. A portion of the proceeds from each sale goes towards the charity of the game developer’s choice.
Past Deals
Currently on sale in the Game Store.

IGS is already kind of questionable at $1 given how frequently their featured games turn up in cheap bundles soon after, but at $5 they must be out they mind.

yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhno.

Steamgifts thread where some people said they were giving out steam keys for $1 purchases.

However, latest posts say it's not working, so I don't know why I'm posting this here.

Yep, now we are all out of luck, because IGS games rarely show up in a bundle soon afterwards...

This one looks OK. It looks like a random Gala/Groupees/Bundlestars game so I'll pass.
Looks like you were right.

BundleStars has really been eating up the IGS games, I guess.

Bobby had one for sale for 3 dollars.
$2. On SteamTrades. This is what I mean about you and Motoki not even bothering to check shit before you post about it.

It still works, I bought an extra pretty recently. I would have posted earlier, but I wasn't sure if it still worked and I forgot because I haven't been on here today.

Blame Spoder, I told him hours ago. :bouncy:

Ok, it's officially been fixed. One of the IGS admins posted this over on SteamGifts:

"Oh you lucky few ;) This has been handled. I strongly hope that you actually play the game with the GREAT deal that you got! The developers wanted a $5.00 minimum for keys, primarily due to the problem with re-selling I believe. Whatever there reason, this is not the normal. We generally have it as $1.00 for keys.

Still a great deal without a key though, highly suggest it...

Enjoy!"

Pretty sure it's all Booby's fault

Oh, and inb4 it's in the Humble Monthly.

I hate how they always fuss over resellers. A sale is a sale. Either you want to sell cheap or you don't. The whole point is volume anyway. If someone wants to Booby and flip those keys for more money oh well it's on the dumb asses who buy from them. It still gets their game to more people and potentially more reviews, or at very last a cut of the cards money for the devs on those games that have them.

It just bugs me that they put such a premium on Steam keys. Like you can get the game for as little as 25 cents and they are fine with that but somehow a Steam key for a game that doesn't even have cards or anything is worth an extra $4.75 just so you can have the convenience of adding it to your account? fuck that!

I guess I just worry that charging an extra premium for Steam keys will suddenly become widespread because devs know they can and ohmagerdresllers etc. It's bullshit.  :bomb:

That being said, I got it for a dolla. :p

F dat. I'll get the game and its Steam Key from Poopiez Dysentery Bundle for 17 cents in the next few months...with some Remute bathtub muzak....TRUTH!

Did they change the minimum to a buck? I saw the posts saying it had been "fixed" but didn't know what "fixed" was.

I got it for the 25¢ this morning.

Edit: Never mind, I think I got it. It was bugged to give a Steam key for a buck instead of for $5.

When people said it was fixed that was actually just Paypal crapping out. I used Amazon payments.

Supposedly this time it's fixed 4real according to what Spoder posted, but that was after I got mine so I can't say from personal experience.

If you think you'll enjoy it, by all means, sacrificial lamb it for the rest of us. We'll all thank you when it's bundled a week from now.

Way to hurt Neuro's feelings dude. He lives for this thread. :shame:
It was directed at people complaining about IGS. What are they expecting out of IGS except indie games, that yes, will probably be bundled at some point.

I wasn't complaining about IGS, I was explaining how bundling works. Somebody becomes a sacrifice to the bundle gods, and all the rest of us get to reap the benefits.
