I'll keep an eye on Ultratron and Rack 'N' Ruin, but otherwise there's nothing there for me.
Yeah, $3ish on either of those would get me to bite. Really hoping for a good price on Zombie Army Trilogy. Zombi is on sale for $13ish on Xbox right now so I don't expect it to be much cheaper on PSN. I will probably end up getting that one if it ever gets around $5.

Looking through this sale list... goddamn there's a lot of zombie games out there.

Anyone check out Whispering Willows before? Metacritic seems, eh. I should really wait until prices are up before putting this much thought into things.

Not sure. Good question. I thought this was interesting when I went looking for differences:

http://idealware.org/blog/nothing-nothing-kickstarter-vs-indiegogo

So with that in mind with a dev that has shown previous success I think Indiegogo might be better. If they don't get all the way to the goal they can still use the money that was submitted and then either leave off the extra features or seek other funding sources for the remainder.

Thats only if they choose to set their campaign up that way. Theres two options, to keep any money regardless of goal is reached or only keep it if the goal is reached just like Kickstarter. You just need to be aware which type of campaign it is before donating.

The big difference between Indiegogo and Kickstarter is that they charge upfront rather than at the end of the campaign like Kickstarter. So if they choose to give the money back if the goal isn't reached you're still charged immediately then refunded later. That is a big aversion to Indiegogo and a reason people are more reluctant to contribute early on. That actually hurts campaigns because people who are really interested likely hold out till the end so their money isn't tied up before it needs to be, and this affects people on the fence who would jump on if they saw successful numbers rising daily.

Can you beat Transformers in a day? I just saw its available at my redbox, and I might just grab it through there if it's a day or two type of game.

I interrupt Frenching games in the mountains (I don't read the thread) to bring you muthafuckin Croissant Tacos.

Easily. Point of the game is to continue playing on the harder difficulties, but if you're just looking for one playthrough then it's not a problem.

Hit a crappy fight in AC Syndicate this morning in sequence 5.  Fighting Mrs. Thorne with Evie sucked.  Even though the yellow bar for counter lights up, for some reason, the quick time moments when she goes on the attack, you had to hit counter just before the yellow bar.  I kept slightly messing up.  Had to restart probably 20 times, finally got through the first quick time when there should be three, but was able to skip the others by spamming my gun and it ended the fight, wish I had  known about that before having to restart so many times.  Reason for restarts is the objective is not be hit once.

I liked Transformers a lot, and my review will reflect that when it gets posted, but I am super disappointed with the trophy structure.

The point of the game is to play it over and over on the higher difficulties while you level up your character and get new loot. Except that there's not a single trophy for beating the game on the higher difficulties. Yet there's 5 trophies for beating it with each of the five characters. But you can't use the different characters on the higher difficulties because they're not leveled up. It's stupid, it's a really bad trophy list IMO.

Tyler, Pitfall, Pancakes, and Pharma were quite the group of knuckleheads. Somehow Tyler, Pancakes, and Pharm all managed to get bitten by zombies while taking a piss. Pancakes also "accidentally" sat on a battery and broke it, I guess it gets lonely out on the road. Some cannibals offered me 500 units of food for Tyler, but after considering their offer I turned them down. Pitfall didn't make it to Safe Haven, he died on the final task.

Organ Trail 100%, if you loved the old Oregon Trail, or even if you've never played it, there's enough oddball, dark humor to get $6 worth of fun out of it. It runs just fine on the vita, other than a slight, 1/2 second stutter in the music when it is loading a new scenario.
It's actually not $6 anymore, it's $10. The 40% PS Plus discount must have been a mistake that was removed sometime during the week.

Depending on how long it takes me to get through a single playthrough, I may just marathon and see how many times I can get through/how many trophies I can get.

Must have been a release week discount running midnight to midnight for a week or something. It was still discounted as of 49 hours ago when I bought it. Well, now folks can wishlist it for the next sale of the dead.

How many chapters long is Transformers? I finished the first one last night after 2-3 hours (I explored more than I probably should have), and if there are several more that take that long, the game will take longer to finish than I thought.

I have a feeling Sony might delay announcing the next Plus lineup by at least a few hours, if not a day or two, since it might take attention away from their Paris Games Conference.

vig's incomplete super meat boy tt score is nearly double my highest score 100% game.
The score for that game is already insane, but it is not anywhere near what it will be yet. Notice that there are 3 trophies nobody on TT has. Those will shoot way up in score. The plat trophy alone will likely be worth over 5k once someone achieves it.

Well vig needs to get it first then to continue the tradition of psnot representing.
so where can I watch the Sony presser from a phone, they doing twitch or YouTube streaming?
Twitch. It was in the blog post yesterday. Do your own hoops.

This is just getting ridiculous, now Best Buy is sending me "you looked at this, do you still want to purchase it?" emails for things I actually bought through them already using the website.

OK, I was BAD off. Going by the multiple for the one silver that only has one person who has achieved it, the plat will be almost 9k by itself once someone gets it. Those 2 golds nobody has will be another 4500 or so a piece. The overall game will be over 30k.

You really know how to motivate a guy.

The Legend of Korra trophy list was problematic as well. Not as bad, but there was definitely some annoyance from randomly generated collectibles as part of the trophy list. There were a few other annoyances as well, but that was the biggest one IIRC.

5 chapters. If you try to speed run the game, you coul probably do it in 3-5 hours.

No where near as bad as Transformers list

Seven chapters, they basically get shorter and shorter as you go on. Chapter 1 is the longest by a significant margin.

Nice. If there was something there that actually said it was the stream I missed it. It looks tons better than the shitty Twitch stream.
