Rocket League hype!!! Wonder how they're going to implement the new modes. I worry slightly about fragmenting the player population across different playlists. Hopefully the game remains super successful/popular and it won't be an issue.

Still wondering if I should pick up that Blue Vita or just save the credit for a rainy day. $200 seems high for a Vita these days. 

 
Finished up Mission 31 in MGSV. 

So the end of Chapter 1. So I've heard Chapter 2 feels incomplete. I'll finish it and watch the Blu-Ray extra afterwards but I've already felt I've gotten so much out of this game...I think even if it ended there I'd be good with it.

Yeah, I think the other thing in the back of my mind is that it will either get a price drop or it will be clearanced out at some point for less. Doesn't help I already own 4 Vitas (2 OLED, 2 Slim).

 
Grand Kingdom does look quite interesting:

Seems fairly unique in the way it handles a lot of the interface and the graphics are quite distinct as well. Hasn't been announced for a Western release yet, but hopefully it'll get one. Seems more likely since it's PS4/PSV instead of just PSV, though; Grand Knights History they tried but failed to bring over but that was a PSP title. XSEED started working on an English translation but Vanillaware was too busy with Dragon's Crown to do the coding for the localization.

The majority of Vanillaware's games have been brought over, so odds are pretty good Grand Kingdom will as well.

Edit; Nm. Grand Kingdom isn't Vanillaware, some site listed it as such and got me on the wrong tangent.

Man I was just looking at this the other day. They were going for like 400 previously I think. I still have mine for best buy (hoping it gets cancelled so I get that credit for it...) and will most likely just keep it and see what prices do right around launch. I did in store pickup on it so have like 7 days after launch to figure it out if I do wind up getting one. Will either sell it or let it sit at best buy and get refunded what I paid when I dont pick it up.

Even 190ish aint bad return on it. Paying 105 for it with GCU and taxes, so should make an easy 70ish after fees etc I think.

Yea just wondering if the hassle is worth it for the $70. Yea figured the price would continue to climb, especially after they announced it officially wasn't coming back into stock. maybe the launch push will push the price up when people are trying to get these?

Yea when they first sold out, I saw prices in the $300's consistently....

Basically pays for fallout 4 basic version Im getting as well.

 
Hm, for about $30 out of pocket, going a week without a vita, and minimal effort (I could probably get rid of the entire oop cost with actual effort) I could replace both of my consoles. Gonna have to go home and take a real good look at what's installed on my PS4 to see if making sure everything backs up properly is worth it.

your starting to get me to consider trading up to a new ps4 as well. How are you getting down to 30 oop?

Base ps4 has a $240 tiv at amazon right now too, but gs has the advantage (for some) of trade credit acting like a coupon (ie negating tax) and of course not giving two fucks if you have the box.

I've already got ~195 in credit down for the blue vita. so that's almost entirely paid off.

250 for PS4 trade in

Have enough rewards points for $15 cert from them

trade in on a vita is at $65 (was already getting rid of this for new vita)

Have an extra PS3 controller from the $10 bby glitch a few weeks back. They trade for $15 now

Confirmed with a friend that the uncharted collection he got a week ago came with a disc copy and not dl code (trades for ~33)

I end up with about $573 in credit and I need about $588 (tax included). Still ends up being ~30 out of pocket though since I probably won't be able to trade the uncharted collection towards the PS4 purchase which puts me at 30 oop. And the Uncharted trade going towards covering the taxes on the vita.

If you're just going for the PS4 swap it'd take a little less to accomplish, but most of the rest of my PS4 credit is coming from the vita trade in. They've got guaranteed $30 credit for a couple of newer games (Ass Creed for example) but as far as I can tell there's not much happening on the easy credit front from them unless Vig has flip ideas for you.

Started playing AC: Liberation last night too. Playing as a mixed race girl is slightly unnerving.  Then I had to dress her in a slave costume?  They  did do a pretty good job with the hair texture, they even got the nose mostly right. 

 
Again haven't read every post, but did anyone else see Quantic dream officially announce Heavy Rain and Beyond 2 souls for PS4.  We knew about it for a while as beyond 2 souls has had its trophy list for PS4 live for quite some time.  Both games are on the Paris game show floor.

 
Thanks Sage.  I just wanted to make sure you didnt have some trick to get the price lower sans credit.    I am still considering the bundle even without credit at GS because the collection is over $40 TIV at BB this week.  I can play it next year when its cheaper.  And if its not, oh well.

Didn't realize the tiv for that was ~10$ more at bby. Might just take the hit, trade it to BBY and use that to get a new game instead. I buy 99% of my stuff there anyway and the credit will go much farther.
