Same here. I'm halfway tempted on Watch Dogs and maybe Last of Us for $6 each. But at this rate I'd never get around to finishing my ps3 library before the ps5 comes out.Yeah, gonna have to pass on it. I've already got way too much in the PS3 backlog and I'd like to pretend I can phase it out completely before the end of 2016.
I want both of these things!A Dutch retailer tweeted this photo and then deleted it:

I was really excited about Fire Emblem Awakening. I can't say it was especially new, but it was definitely my highlight of whatever year that was. And again when I finally finished it up earlier this year. The one plus is they mentioned while this has an in-app purchase model the other games would be pay to download. I'm hoping that means some more traditional stuff.
I was really thinking about it the other day since some peeps in here get upset when I rag on Ninty but a question I'll pose to all of you as well. What was the last Nintendo game where you could really say to yourself this is amazing, something new, and something that had you genuinely excited?
If I'm being honest Super Mario Galaxy is probably the last game that felt super inspired to me. That game launched in 2007. This obviously isn't to say Nintendo hasn't had great or amazing games since then but it was one of the last games I could point to that gave me that Nintendo high.
Please tell us all about it. Was there any trapping involved? I hear that's a key component to all good stories these days.Disasterous trade in experience at BB for my $11 for toy soldiers. Ugh.
The cool cats (aka the ultra uncool me) are going to trade it in to BB before end of day Saturday. Especially if I get a new PS4.Ordered a Talos for in store pick up. I'm kind of wary since the closest walmart that had it available for today is also probably the jankiest near me.
I'm getting closer and closer to the AC:S plat, but I still have the last bit of story and all of the grindy stuff left ugh. I tried to do the WWI thing all in one go during lunch just now but couldn't quite finish it.
Are all you cool cats going to try to trade it back to best buy on Saturday or are you going to wait for target's double value on fri/sat of next week?
It's got an 86 or something on metacritic for whatever that's worth.
I am interested in the doritos, but how much is shipping? Is anyone at all interested in these 2xp for Zombies in BO3 codes on the side of my doritos?
I don't want to take a look at how much I've spent on those things. But yeah, in this case I'm one of the whales keeping this ship afloat. Didn't buy into the animal crossing cards though. I don't care about all the random villagers nearly enough for that. You guys are saving Nintendo:

it's really really good. worth going back to a ps3 for I think.3D Dot Game Heroes is tempting. How's the gameplay?
this is patently false. I always try to imagine what's wrong with them though that they'd be so attractive and yet working at the mcdonalds drive through. sometimes I write fan fiction on the topic.Pretty sure you're not going to find anyone who's "actually pretty hot" in the drivethrough lane of McDonald's.
thank god I missed this one. While browsing the Walmart games selection, noticed Blood Bowl 2is $19.96.

I know a few in here have played it. Pretty cheap for a newer release.
dammit, bought. zombie army trilogy too.Talos Principle too. Holy shit. That's cheaper than it was with my BB 50% glitch

blood bowl is hard to not pay attention to since there's no pause between turns and they're relatively short. if you're anything like chewy and me you'll need most of your 3 minutes and you kind of have to act based on what the other team does. that said I usually watch tv between turns and it's only hurt me a few times. Also tempted on this because of the price. Is this one attention demanding, or could I have it on and take my turn without paying too much attention to it? (IE playing a vita or PC game while the comp takes its turn?)
Do you not like crab or rice or something? A California Roll isn't even really sushi.I can still taste that sushi. Ugh.

IT'S ALL COME FULL CIRCLENintendo was founded as a card company in late 1889
Pete knows the score!it's really really good. worth going back to a ps3 for I think.
Don't put down Nintendo here or its Gestapo will find you.If the NX is a hybrid home console\handheld what do you think that means?
Laptop type device that plugs into the TV via HDMI?
DS type controller that goes with you?
Dreamcast VMU?
Wadda ya think?
A california roll is rice, crab and avocado I think. It aint like you ate live eel or something.I can still taste that sushi. Ugh.
But then animal activists would have been all over Syndicate for horse cruelty.Speaking of grindy trophies in Syndicate. You had to kick 50 enemies off a train, and shoot 50 enemies before they shot you.
But you only had to shoot 5 horses to make their carriages flip over? I dont know if there is anything funnier than seeing people go flying out of those carriages as they go flying over your head! They should have reduced the others to 5 and made this one 100!
You still have to shoot 5 of them. And did you not see the post on the PSNOT board on PSN? Check out what that asshole Munky did!But then animal activists would have been all over Syndicate for horse cruelty.
Laptop sounds kind of interesting, but more likely a wii-u kinda deal with a DS controller that can function alone instead of the tablet. Probably can steam games to it ala wii-u but it also functions as a separate unit. Gonna end up a little bulkier than the current 3DS models, but hopefully it'll be set up a little better than the current wii-u gamepad controls. If the NX is a hybrid home console\handheld what do you think that means?

Living where you do I would just stick with crab via cake. Those are always delicious!Don't know what to tell you. The California roll made me gag a little. I couldn't finish it. I do like crab and rice and avocado. I guess I just don't like those things together. At all. The soy sauce made it somewhat tolerable, but when I got to the last one I just couldn't do it.
MD crab is awesome. Crab cakes and steamed crabs FTW.Living where you do I would just stick with crab via cake. Those are always delicious!
the nintendo octowii sounds awesome as hellI'm probably wrong as hell and it'll end up being a GBA SP with 10 link cables and a gamecube player.
I'd think they would want to get away from an expensive to replace controller like they have with the Wii U though. That's why I'm thinking a laptop-ish design with some sort of home dock might make more sense with a wireless controller. Plus you'd get the power of the whole console when out of the house. Just a thought.Laptop sounds kind of interesting, but more likely a wii-u kinda deal with a DS controller that can function alone instead of the tablet. Maybe they end up convincing devs to have split versions of the same game ala the new dragon quest thing where they have the full console PS4 version, and the pixel art style 3DS game.
Consider me hyped asif it ends up looking like a vita without the dumb back touch and expensive proprietary memory.

Yeah, I was gonna try to upgrade my PS4 today, but I think I'll wait until tomorrow now because of battleborn. Or maybe tonight so I can just play it all day tomorrow? Decisions Decisions.Ugh.in' queued for the battleborn test. Im doing this to help you guys out! Why yiu making me wait?
Yeah, but that seems awfully bulky for travel use. While I'd be interested in the idea, I don't think I'd actually take another large device out and about with me on top of my regular laptop, ipad, and phone.I'd think they would want to get away from an expensive to replace controller like they have with the Wii U though. Power is always a concern though and it would definitely have to be smaller than a PS4\XBONE. I wonder how far you could trim down a PS4 currently. I'm sure Sony's working on PS4 Slim already.
I got Best Buy to price match an order for store pick up. Must've got it just under the wire. It was, of course, a 20 minute phone call.Talos Principle is back up to $50 which is good because I didn't want to go to whatever Walmart had it in stock and would have just been buying it because it "seemed like a good deal".
