Watched Jupiter Ascending tonight. It was pretty bad. I can't decide if it was as bad or worse than Matrix 3. Certainly wasn't better. It's definitely a great example of women in movies being completely helpless, though. I don't think there was a single point where Jupiter made a decision and followed through on it; every time she tried to do something she failed and had to be saved by a male character.

Job well done by the Broncos tonight. I severely underestimated their offense. And their D. They have a big D.

15-1 is still a good record.

Bunch of pain in the asses but they took advantage of every mistake their opponents made in the postseason. Good year for the Mets, hopefully make some smart moves in the off season and will be back in the Series next year.

The East should be fun next year with the Marlins and Nationals having better managers now. I'm not sure how good the Braves will be, but hopefully they should be better if they can find an outfield bat and some bullpen help.

DQVIII, the first Dragon Quest with voice-acting, had those kinds of voices for the English localization (presumably because Square-Enix thought doing so would inject a bit of flavor into the characters, and they were right), so I guess they just stuck with them. I really like the voices, though, especially the Russian ones.

I would presume it was just because it was easier than voicing the whole game over again rather than to inject flavor. Xenoblade, Pandora's Tower and Last Story are just Europe ports, could be the same thing.

Good point; I didn't realize DQVIII might have been handled the same way in that the European "dub" was finished already and just brought over for our version.

I just ordered Fantasia Music Evolved for 360 for $2.39+tax after GCU at Best Buy. For that small an amount I'm willing to give it a try (yeah, I have a Kinect for 360). Free shipping too.

I don't have a Hastings around here (not even sure they are in the state), but I see that the 360 version trades in for $3 at Gamestop. I can trade in there when I'm done with it and do better than even, except for having credit tied to Gamestop....

You could do the cash option, which would be less, but also force a teenager to count money, which could be worth the entertainment factor.

I liked what I played, but man the servers for this one were absolute shit. I got stuck in so many queues I had to quit after a while. Hopefully they do more tests so they can work on the server load a bit more. From what I've seen the overwatch beta looked to be running much more smoothly.

 
Just looked at the new True Trophies monthly summary email.  It's a pretty cool thing and fun to look back at what you played and your best trophies. 

Also nice to see I gained around 2500 points on munky during October.

I should probably frame the Friends Leaderboard because I'll likely never be above Gator again (unless I get the SMB plat?).

So I got through sequence 7 in Syndicate last night and started the WW1 part. Also knocked out the gang upgrades and Most Unsporting trophy so it's basically just collectible clean-up this week and I'll be pretty close to the plat.
 
I use the notifications a lot to move to the last point in the thread that I read.  It resets the counter every time I do that.

However I also noticed something funny this morning when I clicked them with 17 and then it said I had none.  So its like they reset them sometime this morning.

Thanks for pointing that out. I usually just end up deleting everything that gets shoved in that folder on gmail. It was an interesting read.

I am sure there have been other months where you got more points than me due to some crazy difficult game you were playing. Granted none of those were close to what SMB is.

 
So what was the general consensus on the Saints Row 3 DLC?  Season pass is $5 for the three trophy DLC missions/packs/things.  

I'm really enjoying the game and gonna go for the plat, but didn't know the DLC was any fun or just easy trophy fodder.
