I finished my playthrough of God of War 2 but had forgotten about the uber chests so I have to replay nearly the entire game again since you need to get all the uber chests in one play.   I needed to replay the first part of the game anyway as my trophies werent unlocking at the beginning.  I read up on it and the issue is hitting the PS button. I deleted everything and redownloaded it and started from my prior save since I was already several hours in and didnt hit the PS button at all so everything popped except the damn uber chest I forgot about.

Anyway I started the next playthrough last night and everything was fine. Several of the trophies I didnt get popped.  But now I just checked psnprofiles (after the vita did the auto trophy upload last night) and one trophy doesnt seem to have popped.  Typhon's Bane.  I may have to restart this damn game a third time after I get the uber chests.  Ugh. 

Thankfully I really love GoW and I have all the other plats so I have to finish this to complete the GoW plat collection.  Otherwise I would just quit right now. 

Overall the second game is definitely buggier than the first.  Not just the trophy issue either.  There is a lot of slowdown which amazes me.  Its strange that the first game had really no issues and the second is a mess.

I thought it was pretty good. Might be worth $5, but it seems like the SR stuff goes on sale quite a bit, so maybe wait fof that.

I wasn't going to say anything when we first discussed it, but the broncos offensive struggles weren't because Manning was old or "throwing ducks" as you stated. It was bad because they couldn't run, couldn't block, and Manning's timing and rhythm was thrown off as a result. Manning has never thrown beautiful balls or had great arm strength even in his hey day.

The bye week helped as they went back to the things Manning loves, exploiting the middle of the field and using his tight ends. Then the line finally started working on runs and passes, Manning never seemed touched last night with Matthews and Peppers out there.

What I don't think you or anyone has really comprehended is just how good this defense actually is. No one has, and even now I hear people saying well the Packers offense isn't actually that good, and Aaron Rodgers played horrible, not the Broncos defense, but Rodgers lost the game.

Like Collingsworth said during the game, Rodgers didn't go to his first receiver almost all night because of how well they were covered, not to mention the Broncos pass rush wasn't what it had been so far this season, and Rodgers was able to extend the play, only to have no one open for the minute he was in the pocket.

Very happy about the win and can't wait to see if this defense may finally put an end to New England's easy run to being undefeated.

 
That visa checkout thing still says they are having technical difficulties with "today's" deal. Maybe they are going to extend Sunday's once they get their shit together? I guess I'll keep checking periodically.

Denver certainly looks like the best D right now after last night but until Manning shows he can make the big throws in the cold and in the playoffs everyone will question him. He certainly looks old and lost arm strength even if he never had the strongest arm. He looked better last night but thats what great players do. They can look good in spurts and with a good run game to help alleviate pressure.

No one believes in Cincinatti yet either becasue they look good every year in Sept and Oct. Lets see them do it in January when it really matter. Same with Manning.

You guys scared me off the game. I only played the first match. Maybe I'll go on to match 2 tonight. Actually I was going to play match 2 a short while back, but my kids were using the TV so I tried remote play. The text is WAY too tiny for the Vita's screen. I could barely read the tutorial text and that seemed like too much of a chore so I stopped and was going to wait to play it the next time I had a chance on the TV... then SMB happened.

the tutorial is awful. because it is long. all joking aside I really like the game in spite of it's inadequacies and broken trophy. please don't tell anyone.

But january and February aren't about the passing game. Trust me, remember a certain Superbowl run two years ago when the greatest offense in NFL history threw a dud because Seattle wanted them to run the ball... Last nights offense is nearly the eact one you want come playoff time. Albeit without the two deep balls, the screen plays, slants, ins, and run plays will suffice

I just looked at that TT monthly newsletter, that's pretty cool.  I somehow managed 4 plats in October which doesn't even make sense.  I almost certainly must neglect my children severely.

 
Finally saw The Martian yesterday with the wife and kids. Really enjoyed it, although the final bits were pretty far fetched. Still a good watch for sure.

Not always. However, if it gives me a chance to talk about how Manning never beat the Gators I will definitely take it.

If only, Mr fuck it I'm Going Deep had managed to beat him in the Super Bowl too, I would have even more ammo.

Sorry, I didn't get that email, and I definitely would have given the coupon to you. Best Buy apparently appreciates my business as an Elite Plus member so much that they never send me non-order/shipping emails anymore.

The puzzle sections are pretty hard even on normal, I don't like that some of the boss battles seemingly have RNG instant death shit. I was stuck for about an hour on the Frost boss because the wind would pick up blocks and slam them into me with little warning or the avalanches would push me down because it would happen to come when there isn't enough time to get out of the way. It's hard enough figuring out how to climb on the tighter time table. It appears most of the feedback for avoiding boss attacks is visual, which doesn't help much at all when your constantly looking around in other places for your next move.

Ok cool. The individual DLC levels are $7, so I thought the $5 for the season pass was weird and maybe a price drop/secret sale or something. But I'll wait until I actually plat the game to get it in case there is a different cheaper sale.

 
Ah. I played on normal as well. Usually when I ran into issues it was because I didn't have a great grasp on how to handle certain situations. I never felt like it was a rng thing. Once I got a better handle on the puzzle aspect at various points it always felt rather straightforward, with the exception of the other sheep getting in the way on occasion (since they don't have fixed movement.)

Our offense has kinda been limping around lately. Definitely not as high powered as in recent years. Wether that's Jordy going down or the new play caller or what, who knows. But yeah the D seemed to blanket every route and running game really had no room. There were several plays where Rodgers was dancing around forever but just nothing there. It was an impressive showing for sure, but not unexpected.

More surprising was that our D barely touched Manning. I figured that would be our strength. Knock him down a few times and make him have to escape the pocket. But I think he only left the pocket a couple times and was only on his ass once or twice.

Regardless it was a great team effort by the Broncos and I take my hat off to them for a great victory.

I'm very nervous heading to Charlotte next week since that's another great D. Hopefully another week of practice with Devante can get him more involved and we can actually complete some passes. At least we get the Lions at home after that to get back on track.

Not sure I have need of a speaker but will get it nonetheless.

So our old as hell d-coordinator for the Broncos that sounds like hank hill, I guess has a twitter account.  He sent out a tweet last night after the game.

"Chicken Parm tastes so good, especially with Cheese"....

Don't know if you saw or not, but Kinda Funny games did a Just Cause 3 let's play, first couple of minutes sucked cause they had no idea what they were doing. But then they got one of the guys at the studio to take over and go crazy.

My co-woker still hasn't pulled the trigger on getting a PS4. Mentioned this deal to him. i have a membership I got for cheap I barely use. Would be nice to get a nice deal with it before I let my membership expire.

Cleaner mentioned this the other day. I am not looking at any more videos until I play the game. I want to learn as much crazy shit as I can on my own.

I just hope I can finish the SP for BLOPS before 12/1. WAHAHAHA. Who am I kidding, thats going to take a day or two at most. Then I will have most of this month to just sit around waiting for JC HHYYYYYYPPPPPPEEEEE.

Well craziness aside.. it looked and played like just cause 2 with better graphics and the wing suit like someone here siad... so HYYYYYPPPPPEEEEEEE
