Cleaner mentioned this the other day. I am not looking at any more videos until I play the game. I want to learn as much crazy shit as I can on my own.

I just hope I can finish the SP for BLOPS before 12/1. WAHAHAHA. Who am I kidding, thats going to take a day or two at most. Then I will have most of this month to just sit around waiting for JC HHYYYYYYPPPPPPEEEEE.
You might be a bro gamer.

You wanna take this outside bro?!?

Thankfully I really love GoW and I have all the other plats so I have to finish this to complete the GoW plat collection. Otherwise I would just quit right now.
Yeah I just said fuck it and gave up. I never got into the series and the super buggy POS that was the Vita collection didn't win me over. Probably for the best. I would have likely thrown my vita across the room on the crazy platforming section I gave up on when I played it on PS3.

Well after two hours of playing HVAC, our office is finally starting to cool off enough to where I can actually work without getting sick. I hate this fucking building.

It's nice that Best Buy plays Christmas music now when you're on hold. Only 30 minutes in and I've already met my quota.
That shit has gotten earlier and earlier every year. My wife was already watching those shitty Christmas movies targeted at women a week BEFORE Halloween.

There is an order to the holidays for a reason. Until the earlier holiday (and Halloween counts) is over, there should be nothing to do with the next holiday being listened to, watched, or celebrated yet.

The only Christmas song I really like:

There's a few others that are okay; the Billy Idol Christmas songs, Little Drummer Boy, one or two others. The majority is just annoying crap, though.

Target,  Costco, all the  chains around here starting putting out Christmas decorations right alongside their halloween ones.

I got one of those best buy certificates. Says I have to go into the store by Saturday to use it. I don't quite see myself doing that.

not for $5, unless you are already going in

The pats are my second team. Have to have something to look forward too when the Bears inevitably break my heart.
Also the lines got crossed somewhere along the line and my spiteful support in the face of a million Colts fan friends became an actual liking for the Patriots.

Do we have any patriots fans here? or can we all announce our collective hate for Brady and Bellicheat?
I am pretty indifferent when it comes to pro football except for rooting for former Gators or against former college opponents like Manning. Back when I did give a little more of a shit about pro, I did like the Patriots. That was because of Bledsoe though and not Brady. For some reason Wash State games seemed to always be the late game when I was in HS. Since I worked pretty much all day on Saturday they were just about the only team I ever got to watch and I was impressed with Bledsoe.

Now there are a lot of former Gators on the Patriots so I like to see them do well. I also respect how Brady plays the game. I would not go as far as calling myself a fan since I wouldn't likely bother to watch a game unless it was the playoffs and I didn't have a video game to play.

Yeah I wouldn't mind the speaker offer either if someone isn't gonna use it. Planning to make a big purchase in store this week so might as well tack on an Xmas gift for the wife.

In other news, 40 minutes on the phone with Best Buy CS and 3 different people all to have them reissue a gift card to me by mail in the next 8-10 business days...wonderful...

I decided I'm going to pick up the Aqua Blue Vita @ Gamestop. I figure I'll have until early January to mull over if I want to keep it or not with the holiday returns policy. Who knows maybe their will be a price drop at PSX in December saving me some $$$ on it.

Since Chibi Robo Zip Lash goes for all of nothing (got with the Dell deal) I decided to trade a copy in and open one to try out. I'm not sure if the game takes a long walk off a short pier later in the game but the first level has been a lot of fun so far.

Topside: Which mission in MGS V was the one that ticked you off? IIRC, it was one in the 40s and I unlocked most of those last night.
Damn on Mission 34 now...didn't get to play over the weekend at all really. I heard from a friend that the difficulty ramps pretty hard, you feeling that being in the 40s?

Destructoid thought Poncho had a great concept but poor execution: http://www.destructoid.com/review-poncho-318651.phtml

Ultimately I'm left at a little bit of a loss with Poncho. It's a great concept, and when it's working it's a great inventive challenge, but when it goes downhill, it put a huge damper on my experience as a whole. I wanted to like it, but it was tough given some of the rough puzzle and level designs on show.
This could be another instance of a Destructoid reviewer not "getting" a game, but there you go.

There's going to be a new Star Trek TV series in 2017, but it, aside from the 1st episode, is going to exclusively be available on CBS All Access pay streaming service. No broadcast TV past episode 1.

I haven't tackled too many of the harder-version missions in the 40s, but I can see how they might be tough:

[Total Stealth] Pitch Dark (Africa, where you go to the oilfield and sabotage two things)

[Total Stealth] The War Economy (Africa, where you go to the airport because an arms dealer is meeting with a general)

[Extreme] Code Talker

[Subsistence] Occupation Forces (Afghanistan, where you find an intel file about a commander with tanks then deal with said tanks)

[Extreme] Sahelanthropus

I already S-ranked the Extreme versions of Traitors' Caravan and Metallic Archaea thanks to the hangar at the airport + Quiet. Also, just you wait until you unlock Mission 46. I haven't played it yet, but after seeing what the main objective is on the Mission List, I can't wait to play it tonight.

I think the problems I see are with the Total Stealth, I get it's all about not being seen but at least if you do get noticed you can usually take a guy out before any alerts. With the later levels it seems like all the guards roam in packs which really makes it more annoying. At least it was on mission 33 without any weapons. I did end up with an S Rank on it though.

I'm relieved that on Total Stealth missions it seems like you're allowed to be spotted (red !) as long as you take the guy(s) out within a second, before they actually alert anyone. I sometimes trigger that when I sneak behind a pair of guards patrolling and hold one up so I can CQC the other (and then CQC the original guy thanks to CQC-chaining).

I have a Best Buy literally on the way home from work and another 5 minutes away from work.  I have no idea how some of you live without all these stores nearby.
