Am I missing something?

Divinity: Original Sin only being sold via Steam and GOG...?

I want the Enhanced Edition on Steam, but at a discounted price. ....But I can't find it.
Uh.

If you get an Original Sin key you get the Enhanced Edition free. The original release is no longer being sold on Steam.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know of any website that still sells the regular edition for Steam...?

IsThereAnyDeal just pulled up Humble Store and WinGameStore, and at the full $39.99 price.

Walmart. ;)

There's a few copies of the game for $30 or so on eBay. If you can find a sealed copy, activating it on Steam will give you the old and new versions.

Great stuff, man.

I honestly would never have thought about checking for a physical PC release nowadays.

Thanks! :D

There's lots of these in Europe if you want to import (non-Russian copies should be fine). The US release was apparently relatively rare. I managed to get one at Walmart some time ago on clearance (no chance of you finding one now) but it might still be available at some big box stores if you look around. I know Best Buy had it in store at one point.

Anybody here play Binding of Isaac Afterbirth? I plan on playing the daily runs everyday, but it feels a little pointless since I only have 1 person on my friends' list that plays Isaac and he's been too addicted to Destiny to play the new stuff yet. Might be fun if I had more people to compete with.

It will be on sale somewhere sooner or later. At first they were trying that Beamdog exclusive crap but I believe now pretty much anywhere you buy it other than Beamdog it will come as a Steam key.

Holy crap, mega-rare sale sighting: Cladun X2 is 30% off at Bundle Stars

https://www.bundlestars.com/en/game/cladun-x2

This game hasn't seen a single sale on Steam since December 2012. I'm not saying buy it now, but I still take it as a good sign.

Edit: Clan of Champions, the only other NIS America game on Steam, is on sale too at 40% off: https://www.bundlestars.com/en/game/clan-of-champions
I have been waiting for that game to go on sale since the dawn of time, but 30% is really shit for having had to wait years for a sale and can't use cards money to ease the sting.

Also I just know the minute I buy it I'll get trolled Jade Empire style.

the fact that bundlestars even has cladun x2 should be a red flag...the publisher obviously is alive and well...even Clan of Champions is on sale there

i say hold off....bundles incoming

I have never played Magic, but want to learn to teach my sons. Which year is the best value wise: 2013, 2014, or 2015?
2014 Gold (not Complete) is the best buy/game in my opinion. There's also a F2P version (Magic Duels) if you want to go that route although its campaign is horrible for teaching the game.

Edit: To expand a little, the Magic Duels campaign constantly relies on specific win conditions that you wouldn't recognize unless you were already familiar with the game. It's as though we sat down to play poker and each time I'd have Four of a Kind but I never told you what the hand rankings were. So you'd think that you were sitting pretty with your Flush and lose, have a Straight and lose, etc. If you knew the game, you'd know when to just give up early and restart and hope to set up a Straight Flush but for a novice player it's very frustrating.

The benefits of Magic Duels are that (a) it's free and you can get every card via grinding gold versus needing to spend money -- plus the gold rewards are fairly generous compared to games like Hearthstone -- and (b) the cards in it are largely based off the current legal sets in paper Magic so, if you ever wanted to play "real" M:tG you would be familiar with many of the cards already.

Thanks. Single player tutorial/campaign is what I am most interested in.
2014 Gold gives you all the DLC decks but you have to play the campaigns to unlock the cards. Don't get the Complete edition since it unlocks all the cards from the start and makes the campaign meaningless from a progression standpoint.

I'm like silly people.. it's Bethesda. Why the hell are you even buying it before the GOTY is out? I mean, what are you, console peasants?
FTFY

Wow!! I must be dreaming! They just announced modding and map creation for Black Ops 3 on PC.
Hopefully they don't go back on their word like when they promised dedicated servers with the last 2 Call of Duty games.
With Fallout 4 just around the corner and Bethesda's previous attempt to implement paid mods fresh in people's minds, Activision smells blood in the water. Kotick wants in.

Okay so if I want Magic 15 (bla bla it sucks etc etc who cares I probably won't play it) and I just want content and not sparklies and shit just buy the base and the expansion?

I really hate that you need a degree in astrophysics to figure out which shit to buy for each Magic year so you don't get tricked into buying cheats and sparkles.
