What you didn't mention is if you liked U3 all that much. If you didn't, then you won't find anything in the others to vastly change your mind about the franchise.

If you did like it, then you'll enjoy them a lot. I know U2 is the best of the bunch, but I really liked the first. Partly because it was my first game to play on PS3. I highly recommend Golden Abyss also. Great handheld shooter.

I played through the 4 games at least 12 times total, and am looking forward to picking up the PS4 collection on the cheap down the road

After playing through Cotton Alley Dark World a few times to "get in the groove" for each level, it almost seems...easier than its Light World (and by extension, Rapture Dark World), at least to the point where the luck-based levels are really short and easy to get out of the way and a bunch of the other levels have "tricks" to beat them without too much trouble. I even found a way to beat #15, the one I complained about yesterday, nearly every time without dying.

Or maybe I'm just deluding myself and I'll still be working on this for the next month.

It's also apparently an easy plat (according to PST.org) since you can use an exploit to beat the game on Easy, then change the difficulty to Hard without deleting your progress and play the last checkpoint of the game on Hard to earn the trophy for beating the whole game on that difficulty.

they probably halted development on ac chronicles for vita once someone informed ubisoft that everyone else stopped making games for it a long time ago.  

The original leaked release date was 11/19, but it was supposed to contain all three and so far there's no sign of the other two even on ps4.  so who knows.

 
Well I did get one of those random $5 BB certs and I have a $15 cert expiring soon so I may as well get another PSN card while getting Need for Speed tonight. 

Far Cry easy plat here I come!

 
I enjoyed Far Cry Classic. I probably got it back when it was $5. It might look a little dated though coming from all your spoiled ps4 eyes.

I just can't believe the DLC isn't included somewhere in the file for the original game. Seems so weird.

I would bet those are on there but it just isn't mentioned. It should be an identical copy of the disc version which had those 3 DLC on disc, and then the Ceberus network (crash site, Zaeed squad mate quest, weapons, genesis comic, etc.) which was a piece of paper with a code.

Someone should download the game and Cerberus DLC and see if the Cerberus DLC allows you to trigger the download for the other DLC packs in game. Maybe I'll try it later tonight just cuz I'm curious.

There shouldn't be a need to download anything extra besides Cerberus, ME2 came late to PS3 so all the story DLC that had been released up to that point was pre-integrated into the game and put on the disc except Cerberus which was put on a piece of paper to discourage used game sales.

I hope you're right. It would give me a reason to replay ME2, the best in the trilogy.

 
So a guy shot a killed 3 people out in public recently around here.  Now reports say that someone called police before he opened fire because of our open carry law, cops couldn't do anything.  He was walking around a large downtown area with a rifle.....  :nottalking:

In which case the only thing you should need to purchase to complete the story DLC is The Arrival, which has been on sale at least 1 time as that's when i bought it. Though you can't play that until you have a cleared game save file.

But if they were included with the initial release why would the PSN version have had them listed as separate items in the first place?

 
I really wanna buy Far Cry classic for easy plat and enjoyableness and Monopoly Deal @ $2.50 for cheap boring funtimes, but I'm gonna try to be strong with these little games I don't need and am only buying because cheap so I'll have something to play later cause I got plenty to play later.
