You expect us to BELIEVE it's not possible? We know full on all you have to do is request from steam who paid for what content. They tell you and from there you can take the actions YOU desire to take.

Don't try to make this out like it's steam or valve or anyone else's fault. It's CLEARLY yours.

This is nothing more then a cash grab to loyal customers who supported Darksiders 1 and 2 from release. I promise you this Nordic, if this is how you conduct business I will never ever purchase a game you publish or release.

EVGA cards are fine.  However, unless something has changed recently they do seem to charge around $30ish more than their competitors.  They used to have a better warranty/customer service but that hasn't been the case for several years now.  No reason to buy an EVGA if you can find a cheaper Gigaybte, MSI, or Asus (of the same model).

 
EVGA is a generally the best video card company.  However, the 970 EVGA were known for coil whine.  The reviews seem to say that MSI has the best 970s.

Define high end? Are we talking about Titans? I'm pretty sure most including the x70 and x80 series come with a standard 2-3 year warranty you'd find with their competitors.

EVGA used to offer lifetime warranties. Now you have to pay for it. But a lifetime warranty is fairly irrelevant. Most of us here replace cards every 3-4 years if not sooner.

MOST 1st Gen of the 970GTX have coil whine problem. except this one Gigabyte low profile 970GTX I bought last Xmas. Whispering quiet, improved air flow and very good price (at that time)

surely they must have fixed it by now

Good shout on this. Have been in the market for a new controller despite still liking my trusty 360 controller. Had a bit of Amazon credit to burn so this was a good pick up for me. I'd not have done it without this post, so cheers.

Welcome! I didn't know if anyone had mentioned it. I have some spare Amazon credit so I'm tempted in picking this up as well. I'm pretty curious how it handles a variety of KB/M games. I figure I could buy it, test it out and possibly return it to Amazon if I really didn't like it for credit.

I didn't get a didn't go through reply until just now which I'd think should have happened immediately if the address didn't work at all.

Well whatever I'll just keep bitching at him with everyone else until he gets his shit together. It's not like I saw a single person report getting a key from him via email anyway.

Well I did it and pre-ordered Battlefront. Pretty much know what Im getting myself into. The int'l Force Awakens trailer did me in. Geeked out. I knew I would, but it took me a while. Just went ahead and GMGd it and killed off the credit from the summer thing.

Well, as I said my card is old enough to go to school so I'm shocked when I get driver updates at all.

Edit: I do feel more incline to go with nVIDIA this time... I've heard of allot of driver issues with AMD in new games over the past few years.

What does it matter? They gave it to some people who own it but not others and we own the same game and DLC like those who got it. It's not about play or not play but fairness and treating all their customers the same.

Personally I'd just like to play through the game again with the new version. I'm irritated by how this is being handled by Nordic, especially after how well the Red Faction update was handled, but a lot of the negativity is just a bit overboard. The dev posted that they intend to make good on this, and I hope they do, and I hope everyone can be a bit more patient until we know for sure.

Which would be fine if he communicated more clearly, but he said that once two days ago to get everyone to stop flooding his email box and since then he's only continued to make excuses and hasn't discussed what if anything he is trying to do to work something out.

For a PR person, he really sucks at PR.
