I can give anyone a pass on the votes for group 2 and 3. The vote on the first group is mind boggling when Rayman Origins is in the group you voted as the worst.

Actually yeah I guess we knew as I already had that in my cart. It didn't seem that attractive at the time because they had just announced the BF Bundle at $300.

Gamestop is only attractive to me because I can get the $100 for ps3 trade in and use credit. BestBuy only has that offer towards an XBone so far ($75 and $50 BBY GC).

I also have $20 best buy coming from that visa checkout...it's between this or target for me. I'm a little wary about doing the baby registry thing, but we'll see.

Succombed to the hype and put in a preorder for fallout 4. I'm going to be rolling in 10$ certs that won't activate until after I get my copy of battlefront... 

Haven't ever played a fallout game, I figure the worst that happens is I hate it and flip it back and come up even. The best that happens, is I like it, blow through it all on my day off wednesday, and do the same thing anyway.

But in all seriousness, I can't in good conscious vote for anything being the worst that includes Runner 2. I loved that game with the power of 1000 suns. So that game being part of August '13 turned the tide of two pretty even months. I just don't have the love for Rayman that most of y'all do.

How far in advance are you preordering? My blops 3 cert isn't even showing in my account yet, figured waiting till the last minute on FO4 it would take even longer.

yep, generally the nearly insta-cert only happens if you preorder some amount of time in advance. you're in it for a longer haul if you preorder the weekend before.

Another post on Antetokounmpo though, because he's really intriguing. The way he runs the floor (and his athleticism in general) on fast breaks is reminiscent of Shawn Marion, but Marion was 6'7", not 6'11". And Antetokounmpo can also break down defenders off the dribble, which Marion couldn't really do. Antetokounmpo isn't Marion's equal defensively, and I can't in good conscience say that Giannis is the next-gen Kevin Garnett. That might be his ceiling. Hard to say, since he's not yet 21, is still pretty new to basketball, and has markedly improved in each of his three seasons in the NBA.

So a congress women in Colorado was able to get enough signatures today to officially put a new healthcare program on our ballot for the next election that would create a state healthcare system similar to Canada or Europe for all residents... Haven't seen the details as to what it actually covers, but if it is similar to other countries that have healthcare covered out of taxes... I am for it, and it states Colorado would be the first state to have this type of program.

Since we have talked about how crappy insurance is everywhere, what do you guys think of this?

The only details is that employers would be required to pay 6.67% payroll tax, and the other 3% or so would be taxed out of workers

Gator, ever had Schneider Weisse Tap 6?  Got a pint from ABC. Really good.  Similar to a quad.  Reminds me a lot of ABT 12.  That good.

Also got a bottle of Primator Double Bock.  Just a bock kind of night I guess.

Depending on how motivated I am tomorrow after work I might run up to Target and do the buy 2 get 1 deal. BO3, FO4 and probably UCC.

Like you I would be lucky to get through the main story of FO4 before trading it off. Unless I really fall in love with it. My guess is the bugs will piss me off after a while but maybe I will get lucky or it will not click with me. I can probably break even or even make a couple of bucks trading it back to BB anyway.

I was confused when I saw the name. That is apparently the real name of what everyone knows as Aventinus. Yes, I have had it and it is probably the best beer in the style and near the top of best beers I have had. There is an Eisbock version too.

 
Yesterday I noticed that Amazon was selling the Blu-ray version of Man on Fire for $3.99 (Prime members only). My dad said the movie is awesome, so I bought one with Prime shipping and it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Today I looked at my Blu-ray collection and noticed that I already have a copy. Still shrinkwrapped.

I think I have a problem.

 
You guys know I'm all team Playstation these days, but I just hooked up my old 360 in my room to take over streaming duties for my yellow-lighted PS3, and man - that controller was so good.

Strike one on BLOPS 3...went to play the second mission during dinner tonight and apparently the first mission I completed Saturday didn't register at all.  Just had to redo it.  Not a big fan of shit like that...

I bet I know your issue. I had the same problem because last night I couldn't get online. So I played the single player local. Local and online don't cross over. When you got on today it was in online mode. You needed to switch to local mode. It's still dumb though.

Another reason why it was the worst is because it was free after the Ultimate Edition (which has a TON more content IE. trophies than just the base game) was hella cheap, $4. So you're getting far less content for free than if you bought it on sale and are likely locked out of buying the UE bundle if it is ever on sale for cheap again.

Eh, seems worth it to try it either way. If I like it, I'll play the story and some side quests. If not, I won't. It's cool that a bunch of people love putting in 100s of hours into the series, but it doesn't by any means seem to be the only way to play. Kinda the point of open world, you can do as much or as little as you want.
