I didnt get nearly as much time as I wanted with Fallout 4 last night, but man oh man am I glad to have a new fallout game.

So far basically plays just like all the other fallout games, loads of exploring areas and picking up random shit, so far the story is pretty good, im only maybe 2 hours or so in?

I blew all my money on Dion, Crabtree, Kelce, Lamar, Decker and Jordan Reed. Sad thing is in every case I think I could have gotten them all for $1 in this league. Only 3 people ever bid on anyone. Some jerks still have $100 left.

Next year we should have one 12-team league.
You should have said "Next year we should have one 16-team league."

halfway through campaign on realistic, this isn't as tough as people made it out to be, just dont get shot

lol Velo.  I get shot a lot.  Even on Hardened.  Yeah I am only playing Hardened difficulty.  Laugh all you want.  I probably could have tried Veteran this time as Hardened is pretty easy.  There is almost always a spot you can camp from and pick enemies off one by one with no real danger of dying.

Anyway maybe I am dumb but I am really enjoying this CoD campaign.  Same old dumb story but it is entertaining enough with all the big set pieces and I am really impressed with the graphics and effects.  Game looks real good.

I started the campaign offline so I cant play online now but I would try the campaign again with others if they want to give it a shot. I didnt know you could do 4 player co op in the campaign.

I'm not laughing--I'm doing the same thing. It's probably because my FPS skills are rusty, but Hardened is actually more difficult than I expected. If I wasn't planning on trading BLOPS 3 in to Best Buy on Friday, and we could get a 4-person group together to complete Realistic (which would have to wait because I also started my campaign offline), I might have considered tackling it.

If you wanna try it send me an invite and ill help ya through it whenev
Thanks, but I'm content for now just finishing the campaign on Hardened and getting all of the collectibles + misc. trophies before trading it in. Gamespot gave BLOPS 3 a 7/10 review score, so my library unfortunately won't be getting it (such a dumb policy), but if it ever shows up for ~$20 next year, maybe I'll pick it up again.

Starting off the day with a nice sausage and cheese omelet with some homemade jalapeno relish I picked up from a friend last night (his mom makes and sells it) is a damn fine way to start a day off.  Now time to assassinate some people and run over shit with a buggy.

I'm not sure how Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment keeps topping the Vita charts. It's not a new game, but it still beat out P4:DAN and Organ Trail very easily as well as several others that got sales in the period. Did HF go on sale last month and I just didn't notice?

wow, #1 and #2 DLC slot for Rocket league and looks like quite a decent amount of folks took advantage of the launch discount on Organ Trail.

It dropped to $20 in August (matching the PS4 version), but maybe the impending release of Lost Song (11/17) had something to do with it?

I requested the refund for that second copy of Man on Fire (Blu-ray) I mentioned, and Amazon told me I didn't need to send it back, plus they already processed the full refund. WTF?

They did something similar to this for me on a copy of Dungeon Siege 3 that had about a half inch cut on the case from a razor blade, except I just wanted a replacement so they sent it out and just told me to keep the first one.

I can see that being a legitimate reason to tell you to keep the item, but this was entirely my fault. I guess they didn't want to waste time and/or resources putting a $3.99 Blu-ray back into their inventory.

Seems like the thread moves much slower now than it used to. Maybe I'll try and keep up now.
Yeah it's quite a bit slower, it's kinda nice. There were days when I could have a half day of meetings and be behind 150 posts. It's about half that now, very rarely am I more than 80 or so posts behind, even if I'm away from my computer for a good amount of the day.

Good for them. I know it seems like everyone is rocking the Delorean when I play online. They really did do a good job on it. I played a few rounds of the mutator playlist last night and it was cool, but I'll probably stick to the standard playlists.

I got a little time this morning to play around with the menus and stuff on the ps4, and played one drive club race to check out the graphics and what not. I didn't look too hard, but couldn't figure out..is there a way to organize what applications show up on the xmb main menu bar? Right now it's just a random bunch of games that I downloaded.

I don't think so. As time progresses, the stuff you regularly play will move towards the "front" (left).

I would like this, but you never should have stopped.
CAG being blocked at work, coupled with situations going on in my personal life made it impossible during the day and something I just didn't have the energy for after work. I'm doing lots better now though, finally feeling more like myself again.

I guess you could call this a way. Every time you want to resort the games launch them in the reverse order you want them sorted in. Yeah, it is that stupid.

I think I've found my Talos Principal solution. Remote play. Works great with controller layout V and Huge terminal font. But also maybe the problem is the "look acceleration". I turned that off, but I haven't tried in PS4 yet to see if it makes a difference there.

So last night i played some fo4 on my vita with remote play. it was terrible as the connection sucked. problem is, I was sitting in the same room as my ps4 and was using the direct connection. Didnt take the time to mess with it last night before I went to bed.

Messed with it some this morning and changed the option on the ps4 back to not use a direct connection. Connected remote play over normal wifi and it worked WAY better. Graphics were completely smooth that way.

Doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me that being in the same room as the ps4 and doing the direct connection wouldnt be better than doing the same thing but through the normal wifi.

At any rate, the controls worked great and is easily a game that is not bad to play on the vita.

Fallout is interesting so far. I just got my dog and made it to the next town. So far VATS aiming has been shit for me, so I think I'm gonna ignore it mostly. The pistol is pretty shit right now too, I want a real gun lol.

Did you shut off that weird camera snap back feature? It wasn't making me sick or anything but it was super weird the way it would snap back to center when you were looking up and down. Maybe that's it?

Yea I got a few hours into FO4 last night, already some funny encounters. I came across a settler being attacked by mole rats so I helped her out and then she has the nerve to say I'm trespassing on her land :wall:

I wanted to play last night but the night got away from me. I installed it this morning and hope to check it out tonight.

vats is dependent on what area you are going for and how close you are, body shots usually give the highest success rate.

vats should not be ignored, it gets better as you gain more stats and is crucial to the game.

I just got my dog and was ambushed at that Red Rocket place. I stopped playing when I entered the cave nearby. Can't wait to play again after work.

If you go back to Vault 111 after you have Dogmeat he can fetch that cryogun that was in the Overseer's office when you exit. It's supposed to be one of the best guns in the game. No lockpicking required! Ammo is rare/expensive but Dogmeat should have some on him after he steals it or you can buy some at Drumlin Diner.

Great heads up, thanks.

Finally finished off Citizens of Earth yesterday. I'm not bothering to recruit all 40 citizens just for a gold trophy.

Started ZHP since I got that a few weeks ago in a sale. Seems fun so far but hopefully isn't too reminiscent of Disgaea and other games of it's ilk.

#notrophies though so I'll see if I can be bothered to finish it.

With the help of a guide I also should be taking down the second guardian in La Mulana  today.

Awesome, gonna go back and grab that before I get much further then.

You quit way before I did yet you know of a cave and drumlin diner? Also I tried breaking that glass to get the cryogun so good to know I can go back already and grab it.

VATS is definitely not as useful right from the start and I thought immediately of the new people playing Fallout. Now that the enemies continue to move a lot the spots you want to hit change % quickly so its harder, and using the sticks fast enough to pick the spot you want is much more difficult at the beginning. I believe the perks will solve this once you unlock enough of them.

No I haven't. I'll try that too. But playing on the small screen of the Vita went well so I might just stick to remote play.
