I am disappointed to report that the Visa Checkout code I just got emailed is the same one I got before. I checked just in case it had been re-activated for another free $20, but it had not.

reports saying 35 dead with 100 hostages taken at a concert hall

Willing to bet money this is over the US killing Jihadi John.

The sandwich was good, though I would probably forgo the cream cheese next time. The chips were furthered hipstered out as they were a combo of tortilla and sweet potato. They stunk.

Speaking of beer, I just put a fresh bag of ice in the cooler with my Rolling Rock. 'Cause I like my cheap American lager ice cold.
I'm just getting into craft brews and I'm loving it so far, but I still like the taste of bud light. Maybe it's just that it's what my taste buds are accustomed to. There's something satisfying about pounding a few of em back.

You know what bud light and having sex in a canoe have in common?

Both are fucking too close to water.

Alright got a plan now for the free Best Buy speaker (spend $50)....so question....So I decided I'm going to pick up (pre-order) Star Wars Battlefront to get the $10 Rewards Gift Card. Can I pre-order it along with a $10 PSN card (to bump over $50, as it will be $48 after GCU), with in store pickup, use a gift card on my transaction, and then bring in the coupon (when I do the pickup) to get the free speaker?

You should join all us cool kids on the Untappd app to see what fancy beers we're all drinking.

My two cents on some of the topics from earlier:

Dead Nation is fantastic!  I played and platted it on the PS3, and would give it another go on the PS4 if time allowed.  (Sorry Pharm, don't have a Vita.)  I hadn't played alot of twin-stick shooters before, but I really enjoyed it; especially co-op.

I've played Demon's Souls all the way through 1+ times, played probably 3/4 of the way through Dark Souls, and played 20+ hours of Bloodborne.  I've enjoyed all three, and would say you can't go wrong picking either Dark Souls 2 or Bloodborne.  What appeals to me about the games is you can play them in whatever style suits you: you can approach them slowly and over-level your character so that you're not constantly dying, you can try to push through it and learn from your mistakes to finish the game quicker, or you can pick somewhere in between.  I'm more of the cautious gamer when it comes to the Souls games, so it takes me longer to finish them.  I probably put 60+ hours into my first Demon's playthrough but a lot of that was 'learning the ropes', and I've probably put close to that into Dark Souls.  I think everyone should experience a Souls game once, just so you can say you tried it whether or not you like it.

Finally, I can't believe no has mentioned that the next Iron Banner is going to be Clash instead of Control.  I'm all about Team Deathmatch.

By the way, who in here is getting Battlefront next week?

I like Bud Light with beer salt. Being close to water is kinda the point, it's easy drinking.

Relatively cheap and great for beer pong.
Bud Light and Natty Light were the staples in college. I started drinking Rolling Rock when our go-to-bar on Thursday nights started offering it for $1 a bottle; get the fuck out!

I hadn't had any Rolling Rock in years until the company president had a soiree at his house, and he had Horse Piss (Coors Light) or Rolling Rock. That brought back memories, so I always keep some RR at the house now.

Yea Im playing Dead nation right now doing a Grim playthrough on the vita. Just finished the 3rd level, shit gets tough on the high difficulties. I know I at least got through Grim on the ps3, not sure if I did the next difficulty.

I'm getting battlefront in like 2 weeks

Oops. I got "Live Free Or Die Hard" and "A Good Day To Die Hard" mixed up.

"A Good Day To Die Hard" was awful.  I actually liked "Live Free Or Die Hard".

Yeah, Live Free or Die Hard was quite good and a ton of fun. Good Day was a huge pile of shit and is by far the worst in the series. It completely forgot that Die Hard movies have a strong villain who appears early on and gets lots of screen time; instead it went with some lame, completely forgettable switch villain nonsense. The relationship with the son was terrible as well--the one with Justin Long in Live Free was much better.
