I think I'm done with BLOPS 3 now that I have every campaign trophy other than beating Realistic difficulty (heck no) and getting all accolades (HECK NO). I might put in a bit of multiplayer time to get that mode's easier trophies before trading it in to Best Buy on Sunday.

Every minute of BLOPS 3 made me want to play BLOPS 1 & 2 again.

Played Guacamelee last night. I did part of the last level but stopped because it was getting late and I didn't have the energy for it.

Started Prototype 2 and I guess I'll go for the plat. Seems to be pretty easy and I haven't gotten one in a long time.

Not sure if it got patched out or not, but you know it has a glitch that prevents you from taking missions and requires a restart if you don't have a backup save, right?

-Game Breaking Glitch Warning-

There currently is a glitch that prevents you from progressing any further in the story. No new main missions can be played if the glitch occurs. The new missions won't show up on your map and even if you find their starting point nothing will happen. This happens randomly and there is no known fix! The best precaution you can take is to save the game on a different save-slot very frequently. In case the game glitches you can load one of these older save games without losing too much progress.

Well I tried to play call of duty last night. Still not for me. We made it a while 3 or 4 missions in before getting bored and just deciding to go to bed.

The wife picked up Mad Max Fury Road from Redbox yesterday so we finally watched it last night.   I think it was pretty good but glad I didnt see it in theaters.

I think I am at the same place with Fallout. I decided I would rather watch TV last night. Will play a bit more today and tomorrow but think I am going to trade it on Monday.

So after 5 days with the Dualshock 4 I've come to the conclusion that I really don't like the joysticks. They are a step down from PS3 as the size is too small and the material is too slippery. I solved this problem though by using some covers I had from when I bought triggers for my DS3.

Beat Guac. It's was really fun, challenging but in a way that increased the fun factor. I like a game that appreciates your time. Being put right back in a position to try again after failing makes me actually want to try again. So yeah challenging while not being frustrating.

I may go back and grab some more trophies sometime, but I'm done with it for now.

I liked this but some of the original DS4s were slippery and the rubber would even come off if you used them too hard. Gator and I found this out with arm wrestling in GTA5.

The new one I just got with my new PS4 is nice and grippy. They added some texture.
Kanamit just bought his PS4 and (IIRC) it was an Uncharted bundle.

Then let me be insane cuz I'm just telling it like it is. Maybe you guys all got better joystick material because the ones I have aren't better than what the PS3 had. No fucking way. Other than that the controller is nice.

Maybe after jerking off and eating Cheetos they are better and have more tack? I'll have to trust you guys on this one.

The PS3 thumbsticks hurt my thumbs after a few minutes of play. Investing in some $5 gel thumbstick covers was the best thing I did. They are great on the DS4 as well.

360 controller was still the GOAT.

The ball busting bitch I had to deal with at the post office this morning missed her calling.  She belongs at the DMV instead of the post office.  Probably going to be in a bad mood all day now because of that waste of oxygen.

This is my first Fallout game, approximately 13 hours in currently level 14, almost 15.

I am pretty impressed and happy. Aside from the typical Bethesda wonkiness the game runs well. I've had it slow down noticeably many times when inside buildings fighting people but overall its okay. There is plenty to do, and know I will be playing this for months.

While the game isn't incredible visually, people saying it looks like a 360 / PS4 game are over reacting. It's definitely a step up from last generation.

I am still getting used to the VATS system, but the third / first action play is better than other Bethesda games. I'm a big Elder Scrolls guy so it's interesting using only guns for the most part instead of melee weapons.

The game suffers with stuff that most (all?) RPGs do - A guy works in a bar, I save his life, then literally two seconds later he talks to me like he doesn't even know me. It's very stupid. I do like however who if you have a companion with you they chip in on the conversation when taking on missions.

I can't help but think its going to be sooo long until the next Elder Scrolls game which bums me out a little.

Also, I got the Pip Boy edition (as a gift) and its pretty useless. The doesn't fit on my arm at all, the finish isn't very good and I can't get it to connect to my game. I guess it will look nice on a shelve.

Kanamit isn't wrong about the ds4..I've hardly spent any time with it yet, but something seems a little off with the joysticks on it. Some kind of grips on them should do wonders for it though.

Controller Snob.

I agree the tops of the thumb sticks aren't the greatest. Too small. I haven't really used the newer DS4s without the KontrolFreaks extenders.

Anybody try the PS4 beta for it? It's available now.
Yeah, I played thorugh it. It's fun. Interesting turn based combat mechanics (kinda like super mario rpg?) and metroidvania overworld mechanics. Seems like it'll be really cool if they can get the funding to finish everything up. Worth a dl if you're interested.

Yeah, mine is still active as of right now.
Darn it! I should have realized that the pricing was most likely lower than what it will be ($30 for digital usually equates to $40 for the physical release, or at least that makes sense). :headache:

Ah well, even if it ends up having a $40 MSRP, GCU makes that only $2 higher than Amazon's $29.99 listing.

You guys are a bunch of controller snobs therms. It's a controller, just use it.

The DS3, DS4, 360 and X1 controllers all range from very very good to excellent. All of them have their minor flaws but the flaws are all super insignificant to how many things they do well.

Yeah, the $30 seemed low that's why I went ahead and grabbed it. If its not, no harm in cancelling an amazon order.

Touche. Although Tyler used that phrase not me.

Yeah I didn't bash the DS4, its a great controller. The joysticks just aren't better than what I'm used to and that's a fact. Maybe my PS3 controller just has the greatest joysticks in existence. I put covers on my DS4 and it's great now so problem solved.

Me wanting to bang Megan Fox doesn't change the fact that she has thumbs that look like big toes. I put gloves on her hands, problem solved.
