Everyone says it because it happens a lot in college now. It is more often in the end zone than just the middle of the field, but it still happens a lot.
Never noticed anything egregious this season from what I've seen. Because of the automatic 1st down that's tacked on, even blatant PI in the end zone would be a bad thing to do on short passes.

NBC must just be bursting with ideas. They now have two spinoffs of Chicago Fire, a show that was the 47th most popular show on TV last year.
TV shows don't really compete with the ratings of other networks, TV shows compete with the ratings of programs on the same network, lowest relative scores get cut from the team (cancelled). Chicago Fire is NBC's #2 rated scripted program and Chicago PD is tied for #4.

Chromebook's monitor has gone from a chrack at one corner. To a green black halo frame to being completely pixelayed tonight.
Off to best buy tomorrow.

wtf is this
Might be wrong but it looks like a messenger top hat from bloodborne.

Wow, it's not so bad when its all melee characters you are partying with, but as soon as you throw in some mages it becomes really hard to keep track of your character in all the fire spell chaos, particularly in boss battles. Maybe it's because I am playing on the vita screen, perhaps it would be easier on the PS3.
I've seen a few people here comment that the Vita version works better due to the touchscreen making (IIRC) treasure pickup easier.

Football just drives me crazy, I've got to stop watching it. How do none of the refs see that Palmer was involved in that tackle. Replay is good to correct it but that's not even hard to see...

Come on. It's obvious why they call TD. All scores get reviewed. They can get the correct call.

If he doesn't call TD, then it doesn't get reviewed and the Hawks can't get a TD. Ref did the right thing there.

Usually that's fine but not when it's clear as fucking day.

But like I said I gotta stop watching because even little meaningless things like that irk me.

Amazing clock management drive, awesome conservative and creative play call. Cardinals are the anti-Giants.

I beat my first behemoth in Fallout 4. It was easy because I was a wimp and stayed back sniping it for a bit and he was dumb and stayed on the other side of a tree so I stood there taking pot shots. Once he got close I used 5 molotovs on him and finished him off with my shotgun. Up to 24 hours played and level 14.

The short combat shotgun has easily been my most valuable weapon so far. Cryolator was good at first, but once I ramped up the difficulty to earn more xp, didn't find it as good as the SCS.

Wow, Rise of the Tomb Raider only sold about 60,000 copies in the UK.  FO4 outsold it almost 8 to 1.  Can't say it's all that surprising, but hopefully this helps curb some of the third-party exclusivity crap.

There seems to be a game-breaking FO4 bug where traveling to Monsignor Plaza as part of a settlement quest crashes the game: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/fallout-4-game-breaking-bug-discovered/1100-6432308/?utm_source=gamefaqs&utm_medium=partner&utm_content=news_module&utm_campaign=homepage

It sounds like more PC players have experienced the bug than console users, but maybe be careful anyway?
With Bethesda's track record, yeah I would be careful. Says the guy not playing Fallout.

How is Darksiders 2 PS4? Does it run ok or is it one of those shitty ports that runs worse?

Trying to decide on selling my PS3 copy and eventually getting it on PS4.

It was somewhat disappointing. First playthrough was great, but the game crashed *a lot* on my NG+ playthrough. Like 20-30 times. I think it had to do with my character build and the amount of damage I was doing, because I was very overpowered. I actually had to nerf some of my stats and weapons to make it through to the end.

I didn't have those problems on the 360, but I also did a physical strength build on there instead of the magical one I did for this playthrough.

Other than the crashing the game is superior in every way to the last gen version, though, and not everyone experiences the crashing - although I did read a lot of other people having the NG+ issues I was having.

Well hopefully it sells well in the long run. I've been playing it and it's stellar. Improves on the last game (which I already really enjoyed) in just about every way.

Despite jimbo's earlier negative feedback on Dishonored Definitive Edition, I think I'll pick it up for $12 from Best Buy's BF sales. I'll add it to my "Still Unplayed on Both PS3 & PS4" collection next to Sleeping Dogs.

It'll sell just fine once it comes out on ps4.

They better launch it at a discount though, 39.99 sounds about right.

Sleeping Dogs is a much better game IMO. I finished both FWIW.

I was looking of the list of Bethesda games just before and I guess I don't like or am not in love with a good chunk of their games. Old Blood is about the only recent game they have published that I really liked (haven't played New Blood but is on my BF list).

Trading FO4 today. Just not my type of game.

I would probably give Dishonored 2 a try but if it gets a $10 cert. Or later for cheap.

Ah, ok. I have it listed on eBay but I may just take it down if it doesn't sell in a few days and play it on PS3. I like to move as much of my PS3 backlog to PS4 as I can though.

I'll go out on a limb and say it will sell triple that in the same amount of time when it releases on PS4. That franchise has done extremely well in Europe and having it exclusive on a console that does not sell well in Europe was a really dumb move. If MS did not throw a ginormous amount of money at them it was a really really dumb move.

Queue Square Enix's bitching about it not selling enough....3....2...1...

I'm actually leaning towards the idea of getting a capable gaming laptop to make some use of my STEAM library. Maybe I'll pick it up there and play it early-ish.

Don't they already have Microsoft's money from the exclusivity deal, though? If anything, this might hurt the Tomb Raider brand more than anyone's pockets.
Yes but probably wouldn't stop Square. Unless Microsoft implemented a no bitch clause.
