I'm usually right there with them, but this ones a little too much for me. I love pokemon, but they've changed the mechanics (for the better) so much since the original games. Real hard to get me to part with $10 for games I know they've had updated versions of for over a decade that they could be re-releasing as well (or instead of).
From what I've read it has a story mode, because it actively makes you stop and build things with the included sets for it. So it should just be a more interactive version of the regular games.
I saw a bunch at my local BB behind the customer service counter yesterday when I traded in FO4. Trades have been smoother but took a while to get help. Some lady was returning/exchanging a soundbar which apparently required two BB reps. The two GeekSquad guys were doing nothing.
Not sure on the base working with PS3 or not, but it appears the game has a story mode. At least for the level packs theres definitely one. You go through the levels like a normal lego game for the Portal 2 pack, and the Back to the Future one. Kinda Funny Vid below. If you wanna wait a day and see how the main game works, I can stream it tonight if y'all want. Gonna pick this up and my copy of battlefront on the way home. No fancy lego building videos though, I don't have a webcam and fancy OBS setup.
make sure you let them know that you're missing the most important meal of the day. they'll probably expedite things a bit then.
What's the problem with it. I plan on stopping there after work for battlefront, the star wars figure and the $40 ps+...plus setting up a GCU membership, and I hate dealing with store issues.
That Pod vinyl will probably sell out quickly since there's only 1500 copies. I was boxing up some stuff last month and found my first pressings of Shinola Vol. 1 and Quebec on vinyl still sealed.
Yea I need to talk to my record stores to see their list of what they're getting in. I'm hoping the few copies that'll be floating around here aren't to sought out by the Milwaukee folk.
They're not ringing up as free, but they should print out on the receipt as a free bundle piece.
I hope you score a copy because its a gem. Also clear vinyl makes it a must for any Ween vinyl collector. I'm curious on how they are picking which record stores are getting copies. Let me know if you get one.

I've never gone to a RSD or a Black-Friday RSD, but I know its up to the store to decide what special releases they want to order for their store. They probably ask for a certain quantity, and maybe get whatever can be divided out to them. I assume the local shops to where it's getting pressed at will get first dibs though, and also any of the bigger named record stores

I am going to go for the Hail Mary and try a price match to Walmart, the Wish List coupon, and the Cartwheel coupon. Based on my experience with the PSTV bundle and looking back at the Cartwheel fine print, it should work. If it does, it would be just under $50 by my calculations.
