Just finished Uncharted Drakes fortune. Holds up decently. Still some jankiness here and there. Next up Game of Thrones. #easyplat
I'm so tempted to pick up the collection for $42 from Amazon, but I know it will drop. I wish there were a Black Friday sale. (And I want a physical copy because I'm weird.)

I did that first. Here's what it says:
Depleted doesn't mean empty, but I just looked up a video and it did have the food bar empty so I guess that's what the author meant anyway.
Empty is exactly what depleted means. And even so, wouldn't you try that when it didn't work on almost empty?

Spectre was awesome.

Oh man. How could enjoy the second half? I just got frustrated.

The opening credits scene with the Sam Smith song was perhaps the best 007 open credit they've made. It was great, haunting.

and the surgery scene. What the hell. This billion dollar mastermind who knows all about where to drill to do this memory loss, and it just happens not to work? Pretty hokey. I get it, its all fantasy anyways, but why put it in the movie if you want to maintain some sort of credibility? I could go on, but I don't know if you even want to talk about it.

Well damn.  If I knew there was going to be a cliff hanger like that at the end of The Leftovers I would have waited to watch the episode after the next one aired. fuck!

I can't really explain why--the movie felt entertaining from beginning to end.

Maybe the machine isn't 100% accurate in terms of drilling in the right place, or he didn't keep the drill in there long enough to cause the memory loss?

And regarding another scene which probably required a suspension of disbelief, I thought Bond hitting just the right spot on the helicopter with his pistol's very last bullet was badass as fuck .

I started The Walking Dead S1 back up after only playing the first couple chapters of Episode 1 two whole years ago. It really turned into a chugging piece of shit towards the end of the episode. I thought you guys were always just being crybabies when you bitched about the engine, but maybe not.

I don't think I can recommend the Telltale Game of Thrones.  I was struggling over some of the decisions in this last episode until I realized I just don't give a shit about any of the characters.  And they really tried to make some of the decisions count in the last two episodes, but from what I'm reading online about what other people chose none of it ultimately matters, which is hugely disappointing.

I enjoyed what I've played so far in Battlefront.  I ran through the Missions in co-op and did the four Horde-mode maps.  Then jumped on some MP Blast to round out the night.  The game is definitely Battlefield with a Star Wars skin, but that's fine with me; it'll scratch the MP itch.

I will say that going from Destiny to Battlefront is a downgrade in terms of the gun-play.  The gun-play in Destiny is just so damn good.

I am almost done as well. Probably 10 - 15 mins left. I too was debating the choices and was thinking they probably don't matter that much. Still I found the story interesting enough and well it is an easy plat.

I wrapped up the BLOPS 3 story last night and man...what a mess. I get what they were trying to do but the execution was terrible. And the last mission goes on for WAY TOO DAMN LONG....I was rolling my eyes every time they found a way to drag it out even more.

someone want to spoiler the big weird ending that I keep seeing references to? I'll never play it but I'd like to read it.

Elder scrolls online is 13 bucks from GF.

Debating on getting it, dont think there is anything that will be an issue getting it used?
There was some code for in game currency or something that came with my new copy. Guy I gave the code to said it helped in the game. But wasn't really required or anything.

But I guess with Game Fly you would get that anyway. Might was the version that cost $10 I think normally.

I bought Payday 2 from Gamefly and it was fine.

Maybe watch a Youtube video of it? I will probably play through it at some point myself. Maybe.

I didn't feel like my choices mattered at all while playing Tales from the Borderlands. I know there were a few decisions to make, but I can only recall one and don't have the slightest interest in going back to make the other selection. TWAU was the same way even though the trophy list does force you to go back and replay a couple of spots that still end up feeling pointless.

I realize why they have the decisions in the game, but I'd honestly rather they not be present. Dialogue choices are fine, sure, but Telltale doesn't actually create branching storylines. All they do is throw in some slight divergences that return to the main narrative relatively quickly. The illusion of choice detracts from their games more than it adds, IMO.

Finished AC: Syndicate last night.  I still say it was the worst of the last 3 I played.  The grapple gun and extra simulation section were the best parts of the game.  The overall story was meh.

I had to look up a couple solutions last night for The Talos Principal. A red level (though I've done a lot of them without looking them up) and the tower level 2 solution. I was close-ish on both. Anyway, it feels like a defeat.

My wife just sent me a pic of the 5 games we got from the WalMart used game sale recently.  They all are in shrink wrap and look brand new.  I knew they supposedly only took them if they had the artwork, but I was not expecting that.

I picked up Transformers Devastation and Need for Speed Rivals last night from the library. I didn't turn Rivals right back in, but I probably should have. I loaded the Transformers disc to install it and to see if there were any updates to download (doesn't appear to be the case, but maybe one downloaded later), but just played more Talos.

I agree the story was pretty meh but the gameplay was the best of the last few I have played. I loved the scale of it since the grapple gun allowed them to make taller buildings. I just didnt like the ship stuff as much as you and some others I guess.

I've been kinda bummed about the Walmart sale. The only game I've seen that I wanted and at a good price is Ultimate Genesis. There's just not many PS3 games left that I want but don't have. The only one I can think of offhand is KH 2.5, which Walmart hasn't listed. The Vita and 3DS selections have been crap.

I actually hated the ship stuff in AC 3. It annoyed the shit out of me. It is the main reason I avoided AC 4. It felt different in Rogue and I enjoyed it. Even after that, I am still not sure if/when I will finally decide to play Black Flag.

After playing more Super Star Wars, I feel comfortable saying that it was probably the very ungenerous checkpoints that make people say the game is difficult.  The platforming can sometimes be a little tricksy, but nothing too horrible.  It's just that if you die you go back far far away from where you are.

That being said, I'm abusing the shit out of the save state feature in the game.  I don't have as much time to dedicate to the game as I did back in my SNES days.

Still fun as balls though.  Glad I bought it.  I hope the other two come out.

After sending her a text back saying I was shocked they all looked new, my wife sent me one back that said, "The lady at the counter gasped and asked how I got them for so cheap when she pulled up the invoice."

I haven't played 3 or 4 yet, but I've watched enough gameplay from 3 to see why you wouldn't like it. 4's ship handling seems exactly the same as Rogue's, though, so you should enjoy it. Fire up a few youtube videos and I think you'll feel a lot better about playing BF.

Here's one:

One thing is for sure. Thats one ugly fuck low res trophy card. I bet it isnt even running 1080p/60fps.

Speaking of ugly ass stuff. Shipwreck posted a pic of the Star Wars LE DS4:

That thing looks even worse than I imagined. Wow.

The soup and nyquil diet appears to have worked so far. Passed out around 8:30 from the first dose of nyquil, woke up at 11:30 to eat more soup and a grilled cheese and take more nyquil. Gonna try to hit up Panera for more lunch soup. Will probably drown in soup by the end of this.

Did you read the data vault pages or play the nightmare campaign also? They answer alot of questions about corvis/nova6/dni and nrc/cdc/wa etc. Doesn't explain everything but gives alot more info about hall/taylor/krueger/salim

I probly had the most convoluted blops 3 playthrough. I started on the rise and fall level like 1/2 way through game cuz i jumped in my buddys co op campaign. Then after we beat all the egypt missions we did some nightmare then i started the campaign over again. The whole 1st half is just fluff and mostly pointless. The nightmare messed with my head cuz its voice overs over game scenes i never played, so it was crazy in and of itself. Pretty awesome trippy tho. It was more like fear than cod with all the raven/crows and frozen forest hallucinations etc

why did they have to write star wars all over the console / controller???  like you wouldn't know what movie that guy in the big black mask was from when you bought it?
