My manual review on gamergate went through fine. Account still thriving.

CoH franchise was unfortunately a single key. Still worth it but was hoping I could give away CoH2 base game. Grabbed wasteland 2 since it looked cool too.

 
I wasn't 100% sure but pretty much figured it was one key. That's still cheap as hell for all those games.

Damn. That's more expensive than grabbing the Season Pass for Uplay on sale, but the total I'll have paid for the game plus season pass is certainly higher. Who knew that $4 for the Uplay version on Gamersgate was a trap? I need to get one of those extra-cheap scheisty season pass keys that Motoki managed to find.

No, that's the one that had a lot of good features but was ruined by shitty characters and a terrible ending. It's the one that everybody and tebow's mom loves except for me.

Fast-forward a couple months and we find ourselves welcoming the most iconic Final Fantasy title to the mobile realms. The only bad news is it is not out for Android yet. Final Fantasy 7 has only been released for iOS so far. Why is this news piece even here? Well, for the same reason we even told you about this during the announcement. While the Android release hasn’t been 100% confirmed, Square Enix has been exceptional at bringing all its main titles to Android. Especially the ones which will make good money… and Final Fantasy 7 definitely will.

 
So...I just tried to buy some Ubisoft games on Gamersgate, and it wouldn't let me. Some message came up with a "Block ID" number and under that it said "You are not allowed to purchase right now."

WTF is this? Is this just a glitch, or did I get blocked by them? I can still otherwise access my account. So I kinda think that it might just be a glitch. But I don't know what it looks like when you get blocked, so for all I know, this could be the way it looks. Not sure why I'd get blocked though. Unlike the rest of you scoundrels, I've never gone shopping in Putinland. Hell, it's been almost two years since I've bought anything on GG.

Obviously, contacting support is my next step. But I thought I'd ask here first just in case anybody has seen this sort of thing before and knows it's just a glitch which will go away in an hour or two.

So anyone else actually doing the discovery queues daily? I know there's a script to automate it, but I've been doing them just to see what I'm shown. I'd say 99% of it is stuff I've never heard of which is what I want so I learn about other games, but 99% of that 99% is mostly crap I'd never be interested in. A lot of F2P stuff. I think out of the 10 days of the sale so far I've added 3 things from the queues into my wishlist, one of which was Mafia 3. I don't mind this system as a way to get the free cards, but the majority of stuff Ive shown has been uninteresting shit. I did not know there was a F2P fishing game, but I'm sure MysterD is a fan of it.

It's at least impressive to see they got nearly early PS2 level graphics out of the PSone. Regardless of thoughts on gameplay, story, etc, the technical accomplishment is astounding.

Sayonara Umihara is the newest. Can't say it's the best as I'm not an avid player enough to rate them.

The grappling hook is elastic. This sounds like nothing but the result is a physics based hooking that really is not matched anywhere in any game that has a grapple hook.

And it shouldn't be. The amount of bouncing and fiddling is enough to carry the whole game.

It's unique. There is enough skill involved to keep a loyal fanbase competing for best times on a series that has seen three games in 15 years. But it's also fun in amateur play not going for speed either.

I mean if nothing else you could just emulate the SNES or DS versions. You aren't kissing the experience good bye if you miss it now.

I like it. I can't give it an unreserved recommendation. That grapple is going to infuriate or enrapture.

It's not awful, and lightyears better than the Carp Fishing Simulator many of us got in bundles (if anyone ever does another of those Worst Of review lists, play this asap). The actual fishing is decent although easy, and being f2p it's insanely grindy and has Train Simulatoresque overpriced dlc.
 
Anyone traveled to Russia today? My order went through last night and my account isn't banned but even when not logged in I get blockID you cannot purchase right now messages. Tried two different browsers. Not sure how if its related to my account, they blocked the vypervpn IP or what.

Yeah, I just tried to buy something on GG and got the same error.  Haven't bought anything since Stasis, but will admit my last like 10 purchases have all been on Putingate.

On the topic of videogames, sounds like Descent 1 and 2 are gonna get yanked from Steam if anyone wants to grab those +1s while they're available. The source comes, like all bad things, from GoG.
