I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

The sad thing is there remains a little voice in the back of my head that says "If you get one more and get Black Ops III and The Division it would have all been worth it.  Someone needs to kill that voice for me.  

 
I'll probably pick up Black Ops I but not II through the GMG sale. If you decide to sell BO2 for $5-$6 though let me know.

If I scheduled a BO1 Bro-Op zombie or regular multiplayer night would anyone be interested in it?

I don't. And I wouldn't be down for the bro-op because I own it on PS3 already and don't plan to activate it on my Steam account.

The old codes from the glitch got deactivated, but Newegg sent out 5 new codes as compensation to anyone that ordered 5+ during the glitch. Probably safe. Better than buying it on GMG anyway

You made out like a bandit compared to the garbage I got with my 7700 Microids points:

4 copies of Amerzone.

2 copies of Crazy Cars.

1 copy Post Mortem.

1 copy Experience 112.

A few wallpapers and mp3's not worth listing.

The only "good' thing about it is that 3 of the 4 games I got keys for I didn't have previously. Post Mortem being the exception.

 
Yeah, I have no idea what Microids is thinking with this "game". I'm going through my cards right now and have a big stack of games that I own and a few worthless jpgs and mp3s. I did get one new game so far.

Thousands of keys for their games are now going to flood the marketplace, further devaluing stuff that has been bundled to death. It's essentially a huge key giveaway wrapped in an annoying metagame. It even looks like you even get more "points" for activating one of the free keys.

I wish they would do seasons on the consoles. It's such a great feature but I like the control scheme so much better there and have no interest in buying Diablo 3 for a third time.

But does Diablo play the same way as on console? If it does I would triple dip in like five years when it's $10 for both parts.

Patch 2.4 was released on Tuesday and has added a decent amount of new legendaries. Season restricted legendaries are a thing of the past now. The new grind is for extra stash tabs now. You get one from patch 2.4 with 500,000 gold and a second one while going through the season 5 journey. Three more stash tabs can be obtained from future season journeys. There are also various cosmetic items that can be obtained. Season 5 starts at 5 PM PDT tonight!

EDIT: They also made a change where you can convert up to 3 characters from non-seasonal to seasonal so you keep the play hours. Any gear left on that character will be mailed to you after the conversion which can be picked up by another non-seasonal character.

Finally done jumping hoops at Microids. I came away with one new game. Yay me.

It's odd that the card sets produced nothing. I had as many as a dozen each of some of the cards in the set, but at the end I was missing a single card in each set. Yet, the instant gifts were raining like candy from a pinata.

edit - on a separate note, this site has the worst goddamn search functionality I've ever encountered. Is the only way to search really to enter the term in the box at the top of the page? If you move your mouse out of the text box the search abandons, and you have to redo it. Searches for popular terms take longer or never show up at all.

Yeah the requirements for the second stash tab seem pretty tough, doubt I will play enough this season to unlock it.

I did manage to complete one full set, but it was only for the bike racing game. Which was okay because I passed on the couple of bundles that was in. Mind you I had over 17,000 points too so I was drawing them cards for a long time and out of tons and tons of cards I only managed to get one set and it was a ho hum set, not the shiny new Agatha set I really wanted.

But eh, it was free.

And if I feel like it I guess I can post all the extras to Steamgifts or something.

Never mind, it looks like Steamgifts banned most of those games. They have some stupid rule about not being able to give away 'free' games. :roll:

Wait why did I just get a subscription to Ragnarok Online from Microids. And people still play this game outside of the Philippines?

Yeah that surprised me too.

Anyway I didn't want them bad enough to pay what they were selling them for. I would have fakeyed the two older Umkasawasas I don't have before Descent.
