Oh, man, I'd really like a copy of those games. Loved North and South back in the day.

I guess I need to figure out this Microids thing. Are there any tips for winning stuff?

just buy the GMG 7 Pack Mystery pack. There's a chance that you will win Call of Duty Black Ops

I hope the time that the forum was down gave everyone a chance to reflect on what's really important, like $37.03.
Fallout 4 prices are back on the rise... We need something new.

Crude Oil is down to $29.42 a barrel today.

In other news did the bros play Street Fighter tonight? I saw spoder was snoozing when I made it to my PC tonight. :(

Wait, was the Street Fighter V beta was tonight? I know people have been talking about one more beta.

Just notice Dead Rising 3 is pretty cheap right now. Did they ever make the pc version stable?

Mooby liked it, he talks about it a few pages ago... (Well, two pages ago if you take out all the FO4 price updates... :whistle2: ) https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/341407-steam-deals-mega-thread-all-pc-gaming-deals/?view=findpost&p=13157834

Finished Dead Rising 3. Five out of five mountain dews. Improvement on everything that made the first few games fun. I played on wussy story mode so I'll have nightmare mode to replay in a few months.

There's some 'Untold Stories' DLC which I tried out a little but it's more of the same with a different character. You share your xp/unlocks so it's trivially easy after finishing the main game. Seems to be a bunch of generic missions with more item hunts (hack 29 cameras for xp I don't need = no thanks).

Technically it works fine if your computer isn't a potato. Only had one crash in 20+ hours.
He did NOT like the DLC... That was mention in another post. (Though hinted at in this post.)

Me, because I have no interest in them. I would play TR for a buck/gifted since I did that with Bioshock Infinite but I wouldn't go out and buy either.
I don't own FC4 yet. (I do own TR reboot. Hell, I've even idled it for cards.)
I don't own either.
I also don't own TR or Far Cry 4.
Tomb Raider 2013 is great. I finished it and really enjoyed it. If you like games with bows, you'll love it.

Log into the site with your Steam account and you'll get a bunch of points for the Microids games you own.

DR3 10/10 Doritos.  As to whether it runs well, it worked fine for me but it seems sort of hit or miss with people depending on their video card and operating system.  I'd say if you have at least a 770 and an i5, you're okay.

Plus if you buy it I can come in your game and throw bombs at you.

I like games with lots of pretty pink and lilac bows.

I was even going to put a picture here of one of the two main characters in the game I'm nearly done with to prove it but every picture search result for her was hentai...

I finished it on the PS3 in my console days. I do agree with you, though, I have one hang up. Its a great game... Just not a great Tomb Raider game as it left just too much of its old game play behind. (I hear the new one is an improvement on that... but still short of what TR use to be... which isn't necessarily a bad thing for the gaming community as I suspect Uncharted action and puzzle lite gameplay is preferred by most)

Yeah, the old Tomb Raiders were more platform puzzlers than the reboot. I enjoyed the reboot though, but you're right it's a pretty different experience to the original.

I disagree on RotR. The only tomb raiding to be done are in a handful of optional areas you have to seek out and it veers in to Uncharted territory even more. Graphics, quality and complexity of gameplay, and nearly everything else were improved but I found the exploration and narrative aspects to have taken a step back personally.

I also had to try really hard not to use ludonarrative dissonance just now. Damn it.

Will you be okay if you have also lots of VRAM? ;)

Well, that's depressing news... I knew there was challenge rooms off the beaten path (like the first one, is there still a loud chime when close to one so you don't even really have to explore...? smh) but had heard of more tombs like story elements than the first... That said not surprised, and I read that news with a raised eyebrow, as once you had that much action in the reboot... There's no way to remove it for more puzzle like gameplay as at that point you've alienated two groups of players. The originals who won't deal with the action and the new fans who like the action.)

I think at this point I'm obligated by some international treaty to post (again) the best video IGN has ever produced (Yes, that's backhanded. Most of their stuff is crap but with a history that long the best is still notable.) Here goes:

I'm tempted to get Tabletop Simulator. Thoughts?
Do you have plans for it or people you're planning on playing with? It's essentially a physics simulator -- allows you to roll dice or move objects around. There's no structure to it; you and your companions need to decide what you're playing and enforce the rules. Seems like a nice tool if you have a dedicated purpose in mind but it's nothing you could "play" casually.

Speaking of coming in your game, apparently everyone who plays Dragon's Dogma makes female pawns.  I entered the Pawn Limbo Green Room last night and it was like an Amazonian knitting circle.  Also, no one seems to make warrior pawns, just mages (80%) and striders (20%).

Of course, mine was also a female mage so I'm just part of the problem.  Might restart and make a warrior pawn since I'm playing a strider and mages are a dime a dozen.

You can search for pawns and filter by gender, class, level etc. You don't have to go with the selection that's in the void when you get there, you can always summon more via search.

Maybe I just wanted an excuse to make more Barbie Dolls, smart guy... :nottalking:

(Good to know. Game's not real forthcoming with mechanics advice)

If you click on that rock in the void that you use to get out of there, there's an option to search. You can play around with it and check out all the different filters and stats you can view.
