This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

ftfy, since there's a huge difference between communism and capitalism, and they apparently brainwash kids into thinking communism is the evil one and our happy cutthroat shitfest capitalist economy is great. Also, the K-12 teaching and classroom methods we use in America were developed by communists.

Regardless...
Well, communism is pretty flawed. Capitalism is good with checks and balances and social programs (something more like a mixed economy). The problem with our economic system is right now it's more and developing further into corporatism than capitalism

Has anyone spent time playing around with Tabletop Simulator? Every time it goes on sale I think I want to buy it. Is it awesome or does it suck?
Do you have friends to play it with and a good idea of what you'll use it for? It's more of a tool than a game. It allows you to simulate physics (rolling dice, spinning a spinner, moving pieces) but doesn't actually moderate the game, just provides an environment.

Sounds like some game-moderation could be content for some DLC's or Season Pass.

I've heard good things about it as a board game simulator, probably gonna pick it up. You should check out the steam workshop for it to see all the games available for it.

I keep considering it, but when I really think about it, I only have one or two friends who could actually play it with me. :whistle2:(

Looks like we'll have to rely on wasting Bing-made Amazon Gift Card $ on crap deals; finding glitches; waiting a good while before actual good deals hit digital stores; and/or actually playing our damn backlogs.
Or just buy shit you like and play it. Essentially paid more than msrp for Rocket League yesterday, played an hour today and had a great time. Buying a fun and relevant game before it's 75% off is a good thing. Try it sometime.

Are you one of them console peasants I've read about?

Found another tab of bundle leftovers:

Hmmm. I was thinking I would play more in single player mode if that is possible. I am interested in Tiny Epic Galaxies as well as a Firefly mod I found somewhere. Maybe I better watch some YouTubes.

I was all set to build a PC and the consensus I seem to remember was that the days of saving a ton of money by doing it yourself were gone. Then everyone started telling stories of all the things that went wrong and made me decide to not build one.
build your own is the best but if you dont want to hassle it, you can always get up and running fast if you get a mid road premade box like a dell on sale, then just buy your own video card. that way you have a base warranty for a year or so on most parts.

ive built my own boxes from the 486 days, you will always get more that way. But ive also had good luck buying an i7's from the dell outlet when they run a really good sale. Did that 2 times for my boss and his 3 kids over the years.

it does exactly what it says you're just stimulating a tabletop there are plenty of mods for it which means plenty of free board games if you have friends who will play it by for sure if you feel comfortable playing with strangers and you're into tabletop gaming give it a try I'm currently getting ready to start a pathfinder game on it excuse the run on sentence using tap to speak on my phone while I Drive

so any1 planning to show up for tonights event, not including spoder
Well since I can't answer if I'm joining (y am i being excluded), I'll answer for Duke (the one person that was going to join Dirty Bomb before it got rescheduled). He said he probably won't..

WinGameStore has a Telltale Build-A-Bundle up.

http://www.wingamestore.com/build-a-bundle/5304

Most games come with Steam keys, but Tales from the Borderlands, Walking Dead S2, Game of Thrones and The Wolf Among Us do not. The prices aren't that good compared to previous sales.
Anyone else interested in this? I want three things which means I need some help to get to that top discount. I started a thread over in group buys, and I'll probably post something here, too.

So I've decided fuck that no avatar clown and his console peasant allegations. I'm still feeling generous after hooking up a cag yesterday so I'm kickstarting a giveaway for Rocket League because that shit is dope.

If this post gets one like it 's funded. Anyone that likes this post is eligible for the giveaway.

Stretch Goal: If this post gets 40 likes I'll give away 2 copies.

fuck you no avatar ass-clown.

Kickstarter ends in 24 hours. Go.

Yeah YBXYZ is the village idiot. I mean we don't have Tebow anymore and I guess that bumps MysterD up on the food chain a little, so somebody's got to fill that role.

Is it bad if I'd prefer tebow?
No I totally do too. He had character at least.

You don't see YBXYZ smashing his keyboard now do you?

I already have it, awesome game. So I'm just filling the role of one of those $5 level supporters that wants to see the kickstarter succeed without reimbursement.

I always wondered what that would be like. Mmm, fulfillment.

All I have to do is smash keyboards to become the next forum idiot?

How many keyboards do I need to smash?!!!

Edit: I just started my trip by buying Humble Monthly.

Now to cry when they show 5 bad rat keys next month.
