I'm no computer whiz but I think supersampling below a 1.0 ratio would be equivalent to running at less than your native resolution, so increased blur would make sense.

If you have an eligible AMD PC CPU or GPU, get any of these games for free! You have to download a verification tool, but that was mainly it (besides making an AMD account) the list of eligible parts is quite big too

I was able to get Dirt Rally with this easily, I've been using my FX-6300 for over a year now so it should work with older eligible parts too  :D/

... Huh. You think you could just swap in a qualifying video card on a Dell branded system and get the things listed?

I am not 100% sure, but I would think that it would work? It depends on the card though, there are tiers for what games you can get. Anything above or equal to a r9 280 gets any of the games, anything below down to a r7 260x gets like some of the middle games, and anything below a 260x gets the crappy but still free bunch

Good post, thanks.

I have a qualifying CPU, but I get this:

""We're sorry, the type of computer system you have purchased has not been previously verified. Please give us 48 hours to validate your purchase. If you have additional concerns, contact support or click here to submit your proof or purchase."

when I run the tool, oh well, will wait and see. Theres a thread on Reddit about this promo too and others have gotten this, so maybe something will come of it. I have most of the games listed, but will be getting Lego Batman 3 if I can.

Thanks for the post. I tried, but it said my type of PC wasn't previously verified and it needed 48 hours to verify? I have a 6300 CPU too so it should work, right?

I wonder if it works on laptops too? I have two laptops with A series processors.

Sweet!!! Thanks for posting this.

Tool found my R9 290 graphics card and got Dirt Rally as well. Thanks alot S3600!

Edit: Sorry to hear some of you with the CPU had to wait to be verified. I didn't have to wait at all. It just gave me a link right away to choose a game. Hope you get it!

I got the same message and I have CPU and GPU on the list.

I think you probably will get to choose a game, I actually might have validated my computer awhile ago for some reason so the 48 hour period might have been passed already for me (I say this because the downloader showed that I had already ran it several months ago)

First part is copy paste from my response to archbishop: I think you probably will get to choose a game, I actually might have validated my computer awhile ago for some reason so the 48 hour period might have been passed already for me (I say this because the downloader showed that I had already ran it several months ago)

It says it will work on laptops, but only certain models. I don't know why but it seems like it will work with only high end laptop APU's, or like one lower end A8-6410 which doesn't make sense because my A10-4600m doesn't work. I can find a list of the laptop APU's if you can't find one, just let me know

I tried on my missus' laptop, she only has an A6 though (minimum for promo is A8) I bought the thing and didnt even know the specs. Gonna try on my work laptop on Monday, its in my office at work, but Im sure thats got an A8.

Im pretty sure I never ran the thing before. It just gave me that msg about not being previously verified after it scanned. Whether it does or doesn't I'm not overly concerned. There's literally 1 game I want on the list and if I dont get it, Im not going to get too bent out of shape. Free is free though, so I am hopeful it happens. Can only wait and see.

Did Dirt Rally come as a Steam key?  I actually have anything on that list that I'd want so I might grab something to give away but, if it's going to force it onto my account, I'll have to take one of the old crap games I don't own.

Edit: Never mind, I didn't have Beyond Earth

In case you guys hadn't noticed, there's now an (extremely YMMV) Walmart Clearance thread.

Funny you say there are great clearance deals at Wal-Mart. I went there a few days ago, and they had a PC game from 2007 (UFO Afterlight) on clearance for $30. It's currently $7 on Steam, and not on-sale.

So I have to pick one of those meh games?  I can't have all of them and still be meh?  Oh and if it even works with having the CPU the list is even smaller and more meh?

Better redeem the keys right away though before they invalidate them the next day.

If I don't have any AMD components, can I still edit the registry of my machine to include them and get all the games for free?

I'm asking for a friendjoki, thanks.

I validated my computer and got an email saying 'AMD product verification coupon code' that doesn't contain a code just a url that redirects me to the gamepromo page and asks me to enter a retailer code (a step that says is skippable but just refreshes the page everytime I try).

Did those who it worked for get the coupon code via email?

I think my graphics card came with an amd gold redemption thing when I bought it so I might be excluded, not 100% sure though because it didn't have my email on record so I had to make a new account.

I verified my computer, got the URL in an email, went there and skipped the retailer step then got to select which game I wanted. It displayed the Steam key on the webpage when I picked and confirmed the game. An email with the same info (game key) came later.

Yeah I just can't skip the retailer step for whatever reason. Just reloads the page for me when I try. Odd.

Anyone out there got any of them spare Steam code w/ Golden Axe? Or are the emails just super slow? I requested but still got nothing.

BRo night event of DIvision BEta Update:

several cags came to the event, including me, fox, inmate, and indef. we never actually got a full group of 4 ppl. indef had to attend hitlercat's bro night event fist of frags, which is also tonight at the same time. first it was me , inmate and indef trying to power level to the max lvl of 8 on the hospital mission on hard difficulty.

after finishing same hospital mission for the second time, indef went to attend hitlers cat event.
fox joined a few minutes right after, and we went through the same hospital mission again. after a while, inmate had to go leave too. so it was just me n fox wandering aimlessly around doing fetching quests and the subway mission ( only mission which was not in the closed beta), until indef cameback, and we decided to tackle the dark zone head one with our minimal gear, and being around lvl 6.

our experience in the dark zone area did not go so well. after killing some random creeps, and grabing
some dropped loot from them. we head to the extraction point. we thought everything was going well,as me n fox were able to extract our gears without any issues. I ran right out the back entrance of one of the extraction point where we were, until i realize fox n indef was still at the extraction point, and i left them behind. as i ran back, i saw indef n fox got gunned down right before my eyes by a group of grifers, and i died with them. It was after we respawn, indef told us he press the wrong button to extract his gears. so he didn't get to extract, that was why he was still standing in open area for easy preying, after i ran out of the extraction zone.

After we respawn, we decided to go kill some more creeps for gears, so indef can get another chance to extract gears successfully.while we were behind covers, and was in low health n fighting creeps, we were ambushed from the back by the same group of griefers, that killed us at the extraction point earlier. INdef had enough of the dark zone, and left to do sp missions, fox also left afterwards, and called it a day

That feeling when you're trying to figure out a puzzle for 15 minutes and accidentally get it right then stupidly fall off a cliff seconds later and have to redo it.

BRo night event of DIvision BEta Update:
Yeah, I had fun. The game was a blast. It looked great and ran great and I barely scratched the surface in the 2 hours I played. I had just been itching to go back to The Crew where I spent 40 minutes driving from Detroit to Seattle. It was definitely worth it.

So I've put just over an hour or so into the Hitman Beta so far. Some quick thoughts:

- Technologically strong. Obviously just a beta, but I was able to run max settings and maintain 60 FPS for 90% of my time in it. It dropped a bit into the 50s in the one crowded area, but thats not a big deal.

- Gameplay is a step back in the right direction. Much more reminiscent of Blood Money than Absolution.

- AI is still a bit wack and dumb at times, its a game obviously but I find bad AI to be immersion killing. I have not tested at higher skill level than default though, so will have to see.

- Not long, but obviously a beta. There's a tutorial scenario, then it wants you to free play that same scenario "regularly" and then a totally different scenario. The challenges are plentiful and encourage multiple playthroughs more so than anything in Absolution.

Overall, I'm mostly impressed. I started playing Absolution again recently and its still disappointing, so I expected this to not be impressive, but I think they've got something potentially. The return to the better gameplay of the older games really helps. I like the amount of variety that the levels I played provided in respect to approach and it took me back to when I would try a Blood Money level 10 different times just to get it done the way I wanted. I don't know if I'm going to play the Beta a lot more, because I believe this same content is in the final version, so will confirm on that one way or another and decide then.

I also think the episodic style could work really well for a game like this that encourages you to play the same things often in different ways. You won't be able to just go to the next "level" immediately so it forces you to really try and stick with what you're given if you're enjoying the game and want more immediately. Obviously this depends on how you approach the Hitman games to begin with, but I can see the episodic way of things working out if the gameplay is worth it and the final version is quality. Definitely looking forward to it coming even more now.

Yea Hitman is pretty good but I found it to be a bit easy to get silent assassin ranks on both levels. It holds your hand too much tho. Tells you too much without you finding out for yourself.

You guys should have played Fistful of Frags ... a real man's cat's game

Edit program to think you have AMD components. It's that easy. Bai.
8RhbhQ5.jpg

Just hook WMI to provide correct information. I don't know what it excepts, but check what real AMD systems return and use that.
uh, yeah. That. Simple as pi.

Madjoki if you weren't too damned lazy and obsessed with only accumulating digital games and fake money for your only account solely I'd say you should make a grey market key site to put G2A and CD Keys and Kinguin and all the rest out of business, cuz u shady as fuck.
