lol someone in one of the Twitch rooms was all suspicious like ignition is too and was all wanting context and wanting to know why they are doing it.

Dang, that GTA V guy seemed like a tool but to have someone yoink his key like that while he is going through activation. Thats rough.  Funny in a shitty way.

Wow. That's fuckin hilarious.

I'm typing this on my new mechanical keyboard which is clicky and loud as all heck, but I am loving it so far. Seriously. The only thing is that the keys are like way higher than I'm used to so it takes some getting used to and adjustment in my typing style but this thing is great and looks great. Will give it some more time to see how it holds up given it's one of the lower end models, but loving it so far.

So I got a code to sign up for the Hitman beta a few days ago and I assume the Steam key is due to be sent.

In literally the last 10 minutes I have received 8 of the same email from Square Enix and they keep coming. However, it doesnt contain my Steam key that I'm waiting on, its just a rerun of the same "Thanks for preordering, we'll be sending a Steam key soon" (pp) email that I got when I first signed up for the beta. Its a bit ridiculous. I've gotten 3 more since I started this post lol

Never seen anything like it (just got another)

The bottom one is the first one when I first signed up, the multi one is the re-running same thing, over and over again

EDIT It stopped at 14, and just now about 20 minutes after the ridiculousness started they sent my Steam key lol

Trying to decide if I should wait, bitch out gala, or just not care. Apparently my $0.29 purchase was suspicious and has to be reviewed. Apparently it wasn't suspicious enough not to take the money WITHIN minutes of the e-mail, but suspicious enough to not send any keys.

if you didn't figure it out yet, i was getting the same issue when using google chrome. switched to microsoft edge and was able to make 2 purchases without issue. it may have been adblock extension in chrome causing the problem or chrome itself, i dunno
Yea I did, they also unblock me from buying and refunded me.

I didn't get anything good out of my purchase so I'll drop the keys later

I was waiting for you to come back and say they sent you a steam key for each preorder confirmation you got.

They took your money and gave you nothing, that is kind of suspicious

.... on their part :p .

Hit 'em for a chargeback. That'll learn 'em!

If just in case you forgot how crazy and messed up Randy Pitchford was, here's something that I saw on gaf and copied and pasted here.

Today at DICE, Randy Pitchford spoke to Polygon's Brian Crecente about things like Borderlands, Battleborn and everyone's favorite (according to Randy) Aliens: Colonial Marines. Says there's definitely a future for Borderlands as well.

The goodness starts around the 24 minute mark and he says that he thinks EGM nailed it by saying Aliens was a 9/10, that the 2013 class action lawsuit was bullshit and that people still message him daily singing its praise. He sounds pretty buzzed during that segment.

Before you say "Developer thinks game is good" take a moment to listen to the segment. He sounds a little delusional when rebutting that people feel misled over that preview.

"There's always a difference between a preview and a finished product."

I really tried to like rainbow six siege because I have some friends playing it. But the community is really awful. I'm starting to hate it as much as L4D2 because of it.

Whenever someone mentions the L4D2 community I think of this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sm_ss0fUyLw

All of these guys suck to be honest, I'd kick all three of them. The guy filming it is hacking and he still can't skeet the hunter.

Did anyone get emailed the make war not love key today? Don't know if I missed that. First round was much simpler.
Please allow up to 24 hours for a unique Steam code containing this content to be sent to you.
edit: I really hate CAG 3.whatever
No need to be sassy with me. How often do things like that take 24 hours these days? Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one without their +3.

Sounds like he was distracted by his duties as a 911 dispatcher. Pretty impressive for one hand holding the button down to talk IYAM.

I had a chuckle at the last played games on Eldritch's xbox signature card... Netflix, ESPN, Amazon, and Peggle
I've been extremely sick the last two weeks so about all I've had the focus to play has been some Rocket League. Tried playing a little XCOM 2 the other night and did not have the ability to do so. :whistle2:(

No sass. Just a direct quote from the email. We'll break out the pitchforks tomorrow.

OK then, tomorrow we burn down Japan.

Goldie is back where she belongs at Brawny base.  You can postpone the Foxy trial for crimes against birdmanity. :)

Don't hate. Peggle is the shit man. :D

I know that "push to talk" is the preferred method on PC (and I've heard enough crap from my console days to know understand why) but I only have two modes... Killing stuff/playing the game or talking to you. I cannot do both while using push to talk.

Also that is a horrible mic, cannot understand half the shit he is saying... But I know those weren't words of encouragement he was speaking.

Thank god. This has actually been weighing on my mind all day.

I used to do PTT but I couldn't play and then hit a button to say something so now I just use the voice recognition feature on Discord that just turns on the mic when it hears a certain level of sound.

Brodate:

Tonight we played Verdun, one of the few WWI shooters. It's MP only. Four of us bros showed up and had a blast. It really was fun. Especially once I unlocked the scope and started camping Spoder and Reds. Hopefully this gets cheaply bundled so more bros can join in on another night. This weekend we have a ton of stuff if anyone is bored and looking for something to play.

Verdun seems to have optimization issues for some people. I had to set all settings to low to stop most of the stuttering. Even on low settings it stuttered occasionally. Shouldn't be happening on a GTX 780, but it is still in early access so..

Man, that guy (on the stream) was obnoxious as all hell, so much so, that I was shocked at how he well he handled it... (Felt bad for him by the very end of it all.)

As for your mech keyboard. I suspect even on a cheap keyboard you'll be good to go on the typing part for a really long time. Mechanical is old tech, not new tech, and built to last.

AMD is where it's at. No issues here. AMD chip, gfx card, and SSD.

Most importantly regarding tonight's brovent: How annoying was Fox's new keyboard?
I actually had to tinker with my settings so it wouldn't be catching the sound. It is pretty loud.

Sorry I had to bolt early. Had some home issues that couldnt be put off. I was really impressed with how Verdun looked compared to back when I first played it. I was just starting to get into it again when I had to leave. I got back at like 12, but I knew it wasnt going to last much longer so I didnt bother coming back on. If its added to the queue again, Ill deffo be there for more.

I didn't experience any stutterring with it like Spoder did. Maybe its GPU related? I'm on a 970 and was on Ultra the whole time, so I dont really know. I'm a sore loser at competitive FPS, so apologies for my steady stream of cursing :D

I don't think it's GPU related. Saw someone post that they have stuttering with a 970 on the forum.

Yea Verdun was pretty fun but it would help if we had a bigger group. I still enjoyed it even though I sucked at it, my best bet was to let the barbed wire take me down so no one could get credit for the kill.

No need to apologize in my mind... Cursing just shows you care. (Granted, I've been told I've said some really bad things in the competitive moment before... :whistle2: )

BTW, that doesn't look like any trench I've ever seen...

Tested out Verdun last year when I had the GTX 780 and it ran fine max setting @ 1440p.  Must be all the patches they've released thus far. Also combination of different driver versions. Kepler architecture isn't well supported by nvidia for awhile now and should try rolling back to older drivers.

Like many early access titles performance can be inconsistent with all the updates. Never a fan of developers using Unity engine in their games. Optimizations can be all over the place. Seems like Unity 5 finally got off the ground but I don't find that it perform or look great as Unreal or CryEngine.

Yeah, some people mentioned on the forum that the game used to run great for them but broke in the patches they did in the last 6 months
