I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

I got a 970, i7-4770K, and 16 GB of RAM and I don''t see the Division at max. (I do, obviously, get way more than 40 FPS on high.)

Ran the AMD tool and it detected my R9 290 and said I was eligible but got stuck on a "vendor code" page for awhile and couldn't skip it.

After waiting a few hours and trying again and again I finally got in and got Dirt Rally (which came as a key).

Cranked the preset to Ultra and put thirty minutes into it. I can already easily tell it's a game I'm going to really really enjoy.

My PC also acts as a heater when running the game.

Uplay is still a solid step (or two) behind but its not as bad as it once was... I like that they have a recently met list now, just wish it was on a different tab. (Also I'm not positive it populates if you start the game in steam... Which needs to be fixed.)

I would say yay. Especially, with the prices that you'll soon be seeing do to the NVIDIA promotion. (Beta is still running, so if you have time tonight you can give it a try then.)

DA:I GOTY is $24 (40% off) in the UPlay shop.

For those that don't own anything DA:I at all - seems like a decent deal, since those DLC's aren't usually super-cheap.

Personally, I loved DA:I [base-game]. Don't have any of the DLC's yet.

Do you VSync on or off?

I often turn-off VSync, as having it on can take some performance hits on the framerate - only as long as VS Off doesn't cause graphical tears; physics/animations going out of whack; game runs too fast; and any other nonsense. If VS Off doesn't weird stuff - back on it unfortunately goes.

And only if need be when VSync's Off, I'll also run MSI Afterburner or something else that can cap the framerate to 60 frames (if it wants to go over 60) - just to keep the framerate from going bonkers.

Its off. (Pretty neat vsync though... Options for 30, 60, and 120 to go along with off.)

I run anywhere from about 70-50 with a couple of places that can drop it lower. (I'm not noticing any the drops. Even before the new monitor.)

Running it on SSD over a normal HD doesn't seem to have much effect either.

I have Vsync off and AA off.

I think it's just super unoptimized...which makes me nervous since it's so close to release. It is ubisoft afterall

If DAI GOTY ever hits $7.50, I'll probably jump on that just to get the DLC's.

BioWare often sucks at giving decent prices on their DLC's.

I just OC'd my GPU....and I'm getting low to mid 80's -.-

BUT it sounds like my PC is about to take off and fly away lol

Haha, I didn't do anything actually. Too lazy to find someone with AMD system that works and hack program. I had all those games anyway :(

I just looked at how it checks system, it's pretty complex because it does it on server. (They aren't stupid it seems)

It's just these tutorial levels. Paris level didn't have any real handholding. (When I played it some 8 months ago, it could've been added later).

Edit: AI was this bad then too, shame it wasn't improved.

Did you tried overclocking your CPU to like 4.4 Ghz?

Start it up to do a quick test and I was maxed out near 60fps @ 1440p. I did turned off Chromatic Aberration (defaults to On and why even an option in the first place, ew), a notch down on Depth of Field and Shadows. Ran so much better after restart. Surprisingly, I think it's optimized decently for the most part. You really need a beefy rig to run this because it's heavy on the physics and post-processing effects.

My CPU has been OC'd to 4.5ghz since day one :D

Yea it seems like most games its the unoptimized shadows that kill, and those dont usually get fixed for a patch or two. Like others Im hitting 60-80 usually on my 970, though it will spike to 90-100, but that was after turning shadow stuff down to medium

Was never bundled. Might've been in a mobile bundle, but no steam keys

You probably thought it was bundled because cyanic included it in one of his groupees puzzles

No, it's just the DLC. Someone else made the same mistake in this thread in the past and wasted money on the DLC.. which is pretty much worthless

Sorry for posting this here but is there a good place to trade steam keys on here or anywhere else? I got like 40+ keys I wouldn't mind getting rid of since they're no use to me but some of them aren't cheapo titles so I want to find somewhere to trade.

Figured you guys would be the ones to ask!

Not sure where its been bundled. Enhanced Steam (install it) says it was 1 time, but it was not recent. It was $1.24 on Steam about 2 weeks ago. The only info I could find on Google was it being in a Humble Mobile back in 2013, but I dunno if the Steam version was given later.

Weird, mine only says to wait three days. Though it says my email address is already registered for their mailing list. so I guess I'll sign up with a second email address to make sure I get the games.

Edit - 14 days for the Tau Commander for DOW II. 3 days for the Viking/Gunstar Heroes/Renegade Ops key

I think its surprisingly well optimized, no doubt room for improvement, but the game is doing a shit ton of stuff... One loading screen, lots of effects, etc.

Messed around with a number of CAGs this morning in the beta. Mostly, just running Madison Square Garden/Hospital mission on hard, which I really needed to do to get gear. Gear drops this time around is, well, I wouldn't go as far as horrible but they are disappointing. (Hell, I still have one piece of green gear on because its better than the blue gear that drops. Weapons, I have two blue now. A a blue magnum that does less damage than my green handgun.)

That said I do wish one of my weapons was different type (I think I would really like to do an assault rifle and a LMG/SMG... but I'm stuck with a marksmen rifle and an assault rifle at the moment.)

Anyways, I'm still having allot of fun even with only one real mission to run and being disappointed in the DZ this beta.

I have a Radeon 7950 3GB and I run it on Medium and with UPlay's FPS counter it runs between 40 and 60 FPS for me. Looks great to me, even at medium. Haven't tried running it at higher levels. Had a blast with it this morning even if I could only pop in for one mission. Dark Zone was fun last night with YCAG & Indef even if we got griefed.

This close to pre-ordering. We'll see.

That's the same card I currently have installed and I got the same results (I had to return my new Nitro R9 390 to Amazon for a replacement because of fan issues). The game runs pretty smooth overall and looks nice. I'm really tempted to pre-order at this point as well. I just need something or someone to push me over the edge.

Give it about a week before doing so. The Nvidia codes have just started to appear on the cesspools, but they're new so they're still high-ish. $35 on Steamtrades is the only one Ive seen so far. There's a few on Ebay as well, but they're well over $40.

In a week or two they'll be $20-$25 espc for uPlay keys.
