In PC news, those sega buttons worked again, but it seems like you really only need to register once.
They work again but the DLC is an old ass DLC everyone has already.

fuck! I would have tried to play Attila if I knew the other games were going to get old shit.

Edit: since it does say "relisted" maybe it is a bunch of deadbeats not paying their bills. I'm not experienced about this insane overpriced console shit. Ask Spoder. He pre-ordered Muff Luv for $155. He knows the deal.
Yes, actually - they're selling leftover games that were unpaid.

I don't buy overpriced indie shit though, so I don't know much about that. I paid $150 for Bloodstained too, but I love all of the DS/GBA Castlevania games. I pay a lot for shit that interests me, I don't buy crap because it's "limited" like these morans

I'm leaning toward fakeybroing The Division but we need to keep this base secure from now on. If we go, Manhattan goes. :wall:
Wait a bit. Codes from Logitech/nvidia should drive that price down. I'm actually using the code that came with my keyboard.....a ewwwwplay key. Ill rebuy when it's cheap enough on steam.

Is anyone playing the beta tonight. I just downloaded it earlier today

I'm not paying $8 a month for Amazon Prime, such a ripoff. Omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg a limited run indie game that costs pennies on PC. Must buy now.

Kids on cag hilarious.

Most CAGs think Uplay has Cooties unless it's run through Steam first.

I understand the whole "Must Own On Steam + toss my eggs all in one basket" thing. Nice to have one central place to have all most of your PC games.

Since Ubi often insists on both CEG Steam DRM + Ubi-client DRM - "meh." If they put it on Steam and didn't include CEG - then things would be much better, IMHO (i.e. one less forced-DRM here). But, for the right price (i.e. it's cheap enough to suit me), eh, it's still tolerable.

And, since I'm on price - Ubi's prices on Steam for newer titles often are nowhere as good as buying a UPlay version. It's like b/c they know Steam/Valve is taking a 33% off cut and many people want to have all their games on Steam, Ubi's going to keep Steam-version's higher than any other version.

I'm used to Uplay - so, Uplay Only versions are fine for me. With their newer games in the last few years, it's certainly gotten a lot better than it used to be. And like any other Non-Steam versions - if I can add it as Non-Steam game to Steam, I'll do it; not a big deal to me.

Right, plus if you end up buying a code someone is re-selling cheap from a video card pack in or getting it via glitch it's going to be a Uplay code in that case anyway. As is an Ubi game from pretty much any other reseller barring the few Steamworks ones and a few Steam keys on old games Amazon has leftover from the Tony era.

Pretty much your options are way more limited if you insist on Ubi games on Steam and it generally takes YEARS for them to put their games on a dirt cheap sale on Steam.

And that's what was great about Tony - he could get Steam-versions; and often both Steam and Non-Steam versions were the same price or so close, it didn't matter too much - the choice was in favor of the buyer & their tastes.

Unfortunately, we don't have Tony anymore; AmazonJosh certainly Josh'd us all; and now Amazon DVG ain't what it used to be.

BTW - been Beta Testing tonight The Division. I can see exactly why this game has NO NDA's and why it's in an Open-Beta State this weekend. This baby feels really like it's primed and already ready to go right now - action's great; graphics on Medium look and run quite well; and I'm just digging the look + atmosphere of this game. If the servers don't get killed at launch, I smell this game's gonna be a hit - a really big hit.

Wouldn't go that far. The beta is barren; I get the vibe it's trying to send but running back and forth with maybe one mob is lame.

I'm saying this and I really like the game. It needs more action, but I have a feeling it will on full release as that's the major issue people have.

Mixed news! The Fox is switching from Comcast to ATT soon. They still have a data cap but it is 450gb instead of 300gb and it will be cheaper per month. They offer visa gift cards right now to cover the cancellation fee. So it will still be an improvement, cap and all.
I'm not a hundred percent positive as I don't live in your neck of the woods but Comcast is cable internet while AT&T is DSL. DSL is typically slower but more constant in speed because you don't share the line with your neighbors.

I would do it in a heartbeat for the improved data cap and I would make sure Comcast knows that's the reason why you are moving on. (Don't mention its cheaper, even though I know that really appeals to you, these companies need to know caps are crap.)

It made more sense the way they did the first giveaway. I don't get why they changed to a key system, it encourages resellers. I guess Sega likes people to resell free keys or something
I really don't get it all. No one has issues with the first one, and all the stuff is already on place. So instead you add a bunch of steps to get to the same end point and of course you introduce problems. What a surprise. How does it take 3-14 days to email out keys though? Shouldn't the whole thing be fully automated?

I've been playing the beta for Division on PS4. Am I the only one that feels this game is kind of boring and generic? Even the loot doesn't feel fun. I'll probably get it cause friends are going to play but i'm not feeling it at all. The game plays alright of course but I just don't really feel the fun of it.

Yes. You're the only one.

So you're going to rebuy The Division on steam??? So you can boot it and load thru Uplay anyways? Lol
At the time I bought my copy the difference in price was basically nil and Steam was occasionally cheaper.. It all depended on USD and EURO exchange rate.

So, yeah, I opted for the Steam version. Just because I prefer the extra (screenshot, activity, time tracking, etc.)

Most CAGs think Uplay has Cooties unless it's run through Steam first.
I don't think its a cootie thing here... I have enough trouble remembering all the games I own, even "AAA" titles, so needing to look in two locations (or three if you consider Origins) is more trouble than its worth IMHO. (Especially when I'm seeing deals while I'm only on my mobile device and wondering which Far Cry titles I have on Uplay and which on Steam.)

Now, if Uplay would run a fucking nice AC sale with the early titles I would likely consider doing all the AC games on Uplay but they aren't having that. (and I think most authorized Ubisoft resellers have old DRM version of the first AC.)

For the few people that aren't playing The Division, we're playing some Killing Floor starting in 10 minutes or so.

Come hear my outrageous German accent on Discord, it sounds so outrageous that it sounds a bit Australian.

All games kind of feel that way in the beta. You aren't able to build your character, collect loot, do anything permanent, or have any meaningful MMO experiences. The Destiny beta felt the same way and then upon release it turned out to be an amazing game for lots of people. Really gotta wait till it releases to see if it's any good.

PS4? Did you wander into the wrong thread or something?

As to your question... I don't see it as boring or generic. Maybe if it had a CoD health system, or to a lesser extent Gears or Battlefield, I would find it so... But abilities really change the game and you can really see how everyone having different abilities helps the flow of battle. (The sticky bomb that blinds and a turret will fuck up and control groups in an incredible manner.)

As for the loot... I find it frustrating more than I find it boring. You may want a marksmen rifle and a shotgun for your play style but the loot you get says you need to adjust to having an assault rifle and a LMG. (This issue will likely resolve itself, for the most part, in the full game with the crafting system.)

Destiny being an amazing game on release...hehe...The shooting was good but everything else got old fast. I dropped out before these last 2 DLC release but heard the newest is good. Destiny wasn't for me either.....i'm also not an FPS person really though I did love old Build engine games.

I would love a Steam code, but I wouldnt rebuy a game I already have just for steam ;D
