Whenever I feel like complaining about my internet, I think back to my dsl days, and it's not so bad.
DSL days...

Try someone picking up the phone when you're playing Doom over a 33.6K modem.

Or that mp3 that stopped at 97% after 4 hours.

GMG has Joan of Ark $1.75 + 20% voucher with a Steam key. The dumbass thing is I bought it there when it was crapsule (shut up) before it released on Steam and now I'd have to re-buy it just to get a damn steam key.

So I doubt many people care about this, but I thought it was interesting. If you own the normal version of SAW (will show up as SAW or SAW Comp under licenses), your version is most likely censored. If you own the UK tagged version (will show up as SAW (UK) under licenses), your version is uncensored.

The difference is probably minor, but if you bought it from nuuvem you have the censored version of the game. If you bought it from steam (like Drabe and I did), there's a chance you could have the UK version, even if you live in the US.

Here's one difference. Probably only matters to all of the Bobbys/Foxhacks in the world, but it's odd that the US version of a game is censored.

Well it's a good thing you're telling us all now while we still have a chance to buy the uncensored version.

It's not like this information could have helped anyone out when they had it on sale on Nuuvem or anything.

lol I didn't find out until today. It was posted very recently on the game forum too, most people had no idea (including me).

Even madjoki didn't know!

Oh well. It's not exactly like there aren't other games with fetishistic levels of blood and gore out there. Guess I'll just stick to my copy of Manhunt 2 with the uncensor patch if I really need that extra help getting a boner.

I already told you this through Steam, but I'm actually not that bothered by it. The game is still very gory and I wouldn't have realized it was censored if you hadn't told me. My guess is the whole censorship boils down to that extra depot that's not in the US release and some additional configuration files. There might be a way to add the stuff back, who knows.

Anyone know if the console release was censored / edited in this way?

You know, I've played through a bit on PS3, but I'll have to replay the first mission to see if eye see any iBalls being pierced.

Yeah no eyeball stabs on my version and I got it from Nuuvem. Mine is referred to as Saw Comp.

OH YEAH!!! We forgot Four in February!!!

Luckily, I finished four games this month anyway:

Sniper Elite V2 ... great game

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons ... another great game

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West ...yet another great game

Vektor Wars ... nice looking and pretty fun, mindless retro blaster

Little Racers STREET ... amazingly fun top down racer

I've played this first two and the last and agree. Good games. You should move on to Sniper Elite 3 and Never Alone for Murder Your Backlog March where you finish a game every day.

Titan Quest is getting an update, currently the update is in the beta branch but supposed to feature improved shaders and rendering, as well as getting multiplayer fixed since (i guess) it used gamespy.

Also Punch Club is adding a free DLC March 8th, basically going around punching criminals for 3 hours (how long the devs say the DLC will be).

Noticed this on reddit, here is the Headup bundle on Steam which is discounted based on the amount of games you own in the bundle. Hopefully the bigger publishers will start doing this too.

Adult Swim has one too:

Dynamic pricing option was added this week, so we'll see. (Before that it would be just an option to give extra copies, Adult Swim used to use that)

Finally, now if only publishers start using this.
