I bought Muppet Racing cheap from a going out of business sale at a K-Mart about two years into the PS2 lifecycle. I had just bought a used PS1 from a buddy a few months before that. Got a lot of play out of it with the wife actually too. You got to race through all the movies and there was even battle mode boas battles and a platforming mode!

I thought it was fun. Screw you guys!

I wish Hero could stream this. Oh well.

I didn't end up getting the retail release, but the beta was fun from what I played. I wonder if there's still a decent group of players, or if everyone jumped shipped for The Division.
Pancakes and I play the shit out of it from time to time. He already has the plat but would still play the multiplayer because it is so fucking good. Also, the Division is still pretty new and Ill probably be on it for a while but no doubt ill pick up siege if others do.

I tried to pre-order the MVP edition of The Show yesterday at a BB store and the clerk said I couldn't do it.  Said I could pre-order the regular version, but not the MVP one.  Even though MVP can be preordered on the website.  I have a sneaking suspicion the clerk was just a dumbass.

Which Wich for lunch. Getting the Grinder with jalapeños, no mayo. I had no idea there was one up on campus. I'm disappointed in the lack of scenery; I didn't realize USC was on spring break. Hopefully I won't be disappointed in the thread fave.

Edit: And I parallel parked my truck like a boss. I don't think the two hotties sitting outside were impressed, though.

Guys as you know I was going to buy the PS3 Assassin's games, but instead I did the right thing buying Syndicate Gold and selling my sealed physical vanilla copy for $25. Just figure why go back, need to stay strong on that front.

Yeah, I think I saw that somewhere. I just played using a friends starter set box and it was pretty cool though. For occasional play just having the starter set didn't seem bad, but I imagine if you play it a lot you'd want to get the expansions.
Some people get really caught up in either the competitive or collectible aspects and force themselves to own everything (or in Netrunners case, even multiples of packs/sets just to have already built decks lying around). I think for a more casual setting Netrunner works well enough with just the starter box and then when you get a feel for what factions you like you can pick up the big box expansions ($20 each) that fit what you want to build around. Slowly expand your card set every month or two (depending on how often you play) so you actually have a chance to try out the new cards you bought and to breathe new life into the game.

A lot of the smaller packs of cards will only net you a few cards that you'll end up using, and if you find yourself sticking to certain factions or characters you'll be able to skip a lot of stuff.

Ohhhh boy, its beer talk time again!  Just made plans to hit a lot of bars and breweries with some friends Friday and Saturday!   There will be 5 or 6 of us Ubering around the entire bay.

I guess the chillest dude in the world removed me from his PSN friends list.
He removed me, and then sent me a message asking why we're still talking about him in here because he happened to see Backlog's mention of his non platinum trophy in Transformers. And he brought up the whole "Stotch said I fuck 5s" or whatever thing. I told him to just drop it already. Then he friend requested me again. I deleted it.

List of local food chains that should go national:

The Publix fans in there will be happy to see them listed.  And yes bring me fucking Bojangles and bring the rest of you Culvers.

Didn't realize Noodles & Company wasn't national.  And that Raising Cain's was supposed to be a Louisianna only thing since I know of at least 2 or 3 here in the Twin Cities.

Seriously cant fuck ing wait. Looks great.

"What I will say is that all the signature humor of Ratchet & Clank is intact and in some ways it’s better than ever."

"This is the type of full-on remake that we’ve been clamoring for for years."

"Seriously, this game is straight up gorgeous. The Ratchet & Clank series has always been a looker and when Future: Tools of Destruction came to the PlayStation 3 in 2007 there were comparisons to Pixar. That may have been a bit of a reach, but this time around the comparisons are much more applicable. Everything about the game is just so much more detailed than it’s ever been."

"The weapons themselves are some of the best across the entire series including two of my absolute favorites, the Groovitron and Mr. Zurkon."

fuck yeah Mr Zurkon is the best weapon/robot ever.

I was thinking about games I'm missing online trophies. If anybody next time online wants to knock out a UC2 and UC3 co-op game I need both those trophies. Anybody else here need those online trophies?

I didn't like Ratchet & Clank much. I got to a bit where you have to run and jump and keep ahead of rising water. I couldn't do it. But I don't know, on top of that it was just kind of boring. The combat was clunky and not much fun. Maybe that will be resolved in this reboot, but I have a feeling I'll still fail at the rising waters section.

Note: played it on Vita

Anyone want to knock out the plat (ala Backlog Beatdown) for the original Ratchet & Clank in April before the new one releases?

How could you possibly think any part of a Ratchet and Clank game was too hard?

I sure hope whoever runs the PSNOT community doesn't give him the boot. Oh, wait...
