I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Two... Ashes of the Singularity is published by Stardock, so uh, if you can wait a few years, you'll be able to pick it up in an Indie Gala or something. I think. :p

Anyway, I've sold Far Cry to Carl and Syntax Error. I have 2 more Far Cry codes left but I'll go over the PMs later today and decide who gets them.

Okay first off no one is complaining about you guys posting deals or glitches that I know of. They are complaining about the 'y u no bai' stuff which gets old. It's nice that some people have a lot of time to be around online all the time when these things happen but some of us have work, spouses, kids, pets, a house to keep up, etc etc and also in the case of Madjoki he's on a totally different time zone so some of that stuff happens when we are sleeping.

When you guys say 'y u no bai' the deal is already done and we can't get it. It's supposed to be a joke but it's really not funny because you know that of course if someone was around at the time they would have got in on the glitch/deal but they're not so why rub it in?

lol you bitched about me posting how to buy the newegg glitches last night. For the record they never got posted on reddit/slickdeals, and were up on neogaf before madjoki posted here. That may change though, cuz Ashes of the Singularity hasn't died yet.

I didn't know about neogaf and I forgot it was euro bed time (Madjoki told me that in chat) so most of the games Reddit was asleep.

I mean some of this stuff if you post it and some fool spreads it around to those sites like Reddit or Slickdeals then it's over in minutes, but just use your judgement.

Anyway it wasn't that big of a deal for me. The running y u no bai 'joke' is way more of a nails on chalkboard irritant for me and you guys know it and do that shit on porpoise. :shame:

Exactly. I mean people here pay more than that for blind ordering utter shit from Poopees all the time.

If you can get it for a dollar just buy the god damned thing and 2 or 3 years down the line when Ubi finally stops chintizing and makes it cheap on Steam you can always buy it again.

Well, I got my info from Neogaf. I don't check on Newegg because it's not here.

I'd post on Reddit, but they banned me (after that Bethesda bundle, no idea why), who cares it's their loss.

 
I had finally gotten to play Vermintide with Parallacks & DukeEdward last night when the glitch got posted so (A) thanks to spoder for posting it and (B) thanks to spoder for selling me a key after the fact since I missed it while rat-killin'.  Double thanks for spoder.

 
On another serious note, I do appreciate everyone's contributions, whether it be useful deals or just silly posts to make you crack a smile or whatever. Everyone here contributes in their own way to make this place what it is for better or worse, and personally I think it's mostly better.

The thing about posting glitches is I'm just saying think about it because if someone runs and posts it on one of those big high traffic sites for Reddit brownie points or whatever and it's not just here in our hidden little PC ghetto among consoleville then the glitch might go south right quick. If you think it's worth the risk then go for it.

I also want to say that it's really nice of you Spoder and the others too who got extras and sold them at or near cost instead of trying to Bernardo/Bobby people at 2000% mark ups. :roll:

You'll be hard pressed to find someone here who hasn't sold extra crap they got from a glitch for a profit, at some point or another.

Far from the only person guilty of that, just check the cesspool.

And I do give shit away. Just not on here/in public, often.

There's a little bit of profit for time effort etc and then there's 2000% mark ups. And if other people do it too then they're also shady but doesn't make you less shady.

I always appreciate it when deal/glitches are posted here since I don't peruse reddit often if ever and I think I might have been on neogaf once on accident.

I thought the glitch stigma was from people posting glitches after they were over and then asking why no one else got in on it. Then again I'm usually late to the party and don't know if its just people giving other people shit since that is what the majority of the thread is or if people are genuinely annoyed.

That said I don't think I've seen anyone offering to sell glitches at cost to regs here before which is a really cool gesture.

Some people see glitches and buy a few codes for themselves and friends and then some buy a shit ton of codes for the $$. I suppose technically there is no difference but its still annoying to see people in the cesspool selling dozens of copies of games they paid 1$ each for at a 2000% markup.

Reminds me of the people that were buying those keyboards from best buy to try to get the Destiny code out of them then just return the keyboard and get their money back. That is just pure douchebaggery.

99% of people in the cesspool, myself included, have never had dozens of copies of anything. Except Hammerwatch.

I think the upper limit for glitches is 5, tops. And that's only for cheap Newegg $0.01/$1 glitches, not stuff like $15 Hitman. Dirt Rally is the only possible exception since I know other people who got like 20, but even that got fucked over in the end (I walked away with just a copy for myself).

I went to Neogaf once. For some "post in this thread for free game" thing but then they were like "lol new accounts take 7-10 months for approval by our council of forum-nerd elders" and haven't been back.

 
Dang, you  fuck are ruining the good thing we had going.  Everyone was playing games, I could check here and it'd be one page since yesterday.  I've already checked ONCE this morning and then had to read 3 pages of y u no buy jokes/commentary.

Looks like the glitch is dead for Ashes of the Singularity now. AMD codes now require further verification. So uh.. don't try buying from Newegg Business right now. I redeemed all of my AMD codes, so this doesn't affect me, although all of my AotS keys will be gone once Xealot buys the last one from me.

 
You would think that someone at AMD/Nvidia would get smart or something since this happens for every single card promo at NewEgg.  I'm surprised they haven't gone all Bethesda-at-Gamersgate on them except that I guess they can't afford to alienate the main online source for computer parts.

It's only remotely decent if you buy a 5-pack and sell at cost. But SRIV was Humble Monthly'd so eventually one or both of Reduxes might be too, and they've been pretty cheap on their own. I don't think even it comes with all of SRIV's DLC?

Also, emails with 3 month subscriptions to PC Gamer's digital magazine are going out if you got screwed out of free Dark Souls.

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I got it.

I know I'm late on all the Spoder Madjoki drama, but you guys know I don't care.

I've participated in the joking about Madjoki not posting a deal, but I always assumed everyone knew it was not serious and that he wasn't out personal deal finder and poster. Though some people do seem peeved when he posts some of the stuff. I've always worried there'd come a day Madjoki would tire of it and find another place to call home. Didn't want to day anything though because I didn't want to look soft.

Spoder on the other hand deserves everything he gets and he can't bribe me into stopping by offering some awesome deal in exchange. I cannot be bought. #FeelTheBern

And Bobby reselling stuff for Domino's money is despicable. I resell stuff for more games which I will not play. On a serious note, I used to be all charitable and hook people up with extra copies of glitches, but lately I've been reselling them when I get em and hooking up maybe one or two CAGs who I feel will actually play the game in question. Most people are desperate to get a glitch but will just throw it in the backlog so it's really a waste and also most people don't tend to return the favor down the line.

I'd return glitch love, except the last glitch I saw before anyone else was a price mistake on Dragon Age 2 on GG back in 2013 or something. I'm being serious. I'm pretty much a parasite here because some of you are glitch/deal finding savants and I'm excited when I get to say "DLGamer has Cities Skylines at a historic low for $11" (another real life example).

Thanks, you're right, I do deserve everything I get.. which is why I got The Division for free earlier today ;). Bobby is 90% of the reason I got it btw, so you guys can stop hating on him so much lol.

Also, when I give away shit or let people have glitches at cost I usually do try to give it to people that will have a higher chance of playing it, or have done me favors in the past.. so that always goes a long way for me.
