PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

my boss might be michael scott. he just went on a long, long tirade about how The Rock didn't get nominated for an oscar because of white privilege in the elitest hollywood scene. he then went on to talk about how unfair it is that his daughter didn't get an oscar because 'she's smokin'.
You might want to prepare yourself for a lot more of this before moving to Portland.

No, not really. I'm curious on the age. If his daughter is like 9 then I know it won't work for my kid. She's not that old. I'm trying to see if it's good for younger kids.....
It's just a match 3 type game with a frozen skin, so if shed like that kind of game than she'd like it a lot!

He already has short-timers disease.

Does anyone here have any experience with perler bead projects? I saw some people doing video game ones but I'm curious on where they're finding the sprites for everything.

I'm curious that you even know what she was talking about. I sure as hell don't.

They're really neat

I saw some on Instagram. Coincidentally there's a guy named Tyler that makes some really cool ones.

They do like Pokemon, legend of Zelda, stuff like that.

I want to make a few and hang them up, my husband has been more into my nerd/geek stuff lately so I'm taking full advantage to cover my home in awesomeness

Did anyone else google "perler beads"? I did. There was a booth at Magfest selling video game ones. I can't imagine buying those. I mean I guess I can see making them yourself, but what fun is it to buy something someone else made, especially since they are kind of shitty?

Also if you just want pixel sizing, print whatever it is out in approximately the size you want on some graph paper or something. That should help.

Can you kilik that pintrest Q thing?
That's supposed to be pintrest, Q.

-Vig

You see pintrest is a website, typically lady oriented, where people get together and post crafts and recipes to share with others. Q is a lady person interested in crafts.

I actually never used a computer with a 5 1/4 floppy drive. I did, though, when I was a kid, use computers at the local community college that used paper tape. And we played games on one computer there that didn't have a display, and so all its output was printed (most of the computers there were like that - they did have one computer with a vector graphics display, though). The ski racing game wasted a mountain of paper. It was amazing.

How are you still alive?

Prolly wanna just pm cleaner and sage on that one, and maybe tyler too.
Not sure if that was just a sly insult, but perler beads are kind of cool. I don't bother making anything with them, but I've bought a few cool things off of etsy of them and gotten a couple as presents as well. I have a cool set of perler bead Lolo coasters and a cool Mega Man magnet.

Sly insult, but you proved me right, figured youd know what she was talking about.

You shop on etsy?

...I was going to post that gif of Chang from Community going GAAAAAAY but then I couldn't think of a PC alternative that wasn't awkward as hell. Dammit.

Etsy has all sorts of cool homemade video game stuff. Those like me into pixels and collectibles could get lost for hours browsing all the cleverly created things on there.

Etsy is pretty sweet if you want custom stuff. There's a lot of really talented pixel artists that put their art up for sale on there that I've been tempted to grab.

fuck yes Lolo!

When I was really young either I or my dad beat Lolo and at the end Lolo kisses Lala and a heart appears, and I guess I said "Lolo honks Lala!" and apparently that was the funniest thing of all time because my family reminds me of it constantly.

I must ask, have you ever crocheted an afghan? With Spelunky designs perhaps?

More Lolo crap. Loved those games, used to play them all the time. Probably why I play so many puzzle games still:

Out of likes, but those are awesome. Lolo was awesome. We need a Lolo reboot. Start the campaign IA!
