PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

bastion plat get.

I think I 100%d it on 360 but I don't remember having to do the who knows where stuff with all idols. It's still a cool game even if the threadbare story displeases eldergamer.
When are you going to get around to finishing off AAC?

It's still my favorite Telltale game and I'm somehow excited to run through it a third time at some point on PS3.

I really wish they'd announce a second season.
The wife is 1 volume short on having the complete Fables set and 2 volumes short on Fairest. Once she finishes collecting Fables I'll read through it and then probably play TWAU again for a 2nd plat.

How was it on Vita? I played it on PS4 the first time and am a bit leery of performance issues on the Vita version.

Hey, John Oliver made a video about my wife.

Edit:

..and the amount we throw out has increased by about 50% since the 1970s. At this rate in 40 years when you order pizza from Dominos they'll just deliver straight to the nearest dumpster, as they should but that's not the point here.

oh man, reading through that family dollar thread and the people who were scared to venture to one because they're not in suburbia.  #savememommy!

I platted the Vita version and it was fine. Besides slow loading and the stuttering when you save, but that's expected from a TT game.

Zimm basically summed it up:

I don't recall much (if any) stuttering during the action sequences, which were my main concern.

I hope Oklahoma wins it all even though I don't care for them at all, that Buddy Hield kid is a beast and I want him to win.
Surprised you want them to win. I assumed you probably held a grudge against Kruger. Maybe you aren't old enough to remember him being there and leaving for Illinois, or maybe you dont care since it meant we got Bily for a while.

Who even celebrates Easter?

For being such a major Christian holiday, and pretty much the thing the whole religion is based around it sure gets the short shrift.

There's no store closures, no time off, no events. Compare that to Christmas which pretty much owns the whole month of December.

Saw Batman V Superman. It was great. It takes the queue from the Nolan films adding as much grit and realism to a super heroe movie as could reasonably expect. Differing from the Marvel approach of adding heavy sarcasm. I appreciate both ways but really like the darkness and seriousness of the Nolan Batmans and now this movie.

Critics got it wrong. Yes it's long, but I loved it all. Never got bored.

Go see it!

Targets and Best Buys were closed. Mall here was closed except for the theater.

Easter's still got some juice baby.

Best Buy was closed as well.

Completely opposite in my opinion, was at least a half hour too long There were a bunch of things they could have whittled down that weren't necessary. I'll admit Jesse Eisenberg actually gave a good performance to my surprise, unfortunately the performance he gave wasn't of Lex. His plans also made zero sense, and it was clear even he didn't know what his goal was or how to best achieve it. Affleck is now my favorite portrayal of Batman on the big screen and it would have been great to see him in a solo film as the whole VS aspect was the least interesting part of the film. Wonder Woman was one of the few highlights and I'm looking forward to her origin film. Doomsday was pointless and solely there to have a cheap team up moment to wrap up the end. Ultimately he should have been left as a card to play once the team was fully assembled in the future. The introduction of the other members as files from Lex's data was the most uninteresting and forced way for DC to say "hey look, we have a team now too, get it?"

It wasn't a bad movie, in fact it was better than I had expected it to be, but it was disappointing nevertheless. Unless you hit $5 Tuesdays its not worth the price of admission in my opinion. Good rental/download/stream at some point though.

This week's Walking Dead though!

I've got a bad feeling about next week. I mean sure, it doesn't take a genius to predict gloom on a season finale on a zombie apocalypse show. But prediction ahead...
I think they are going to usher in Neagen to the show in a big way by having him kill off a favorite.

I agree on all your spoiler stuff, and Ben did a great job. None of what you noted would make me not recommend the movie to someone. Which in essence is what the critics did to this movie.

I finished RE5 and the two DLC episodes over the weekend. The game gets way better about half-way in IMO. Really enjoyed it despite its age. I probably would've thought the DLC episodes were a little short if I'd bought them at full price seperately, but I liked them both. Especially Lost in Nightmares, it was pretty awesome.

That's not a very bold prediction... almost like saying the next show is going to have zombies.

They're teasing everyone with Glenn being captured since a lot of people know how he dies in the comic and I wouldn't be surprised if they do another "Glenn's dead!!!" moment at the end of the finale just to show that he survived again once the next season starts. The show is starting to get on my nerves with some of the stupid shit that they make the characters do and how they make them act just to create some drama. And Darrell being shot at the end was dumb... I guess everyone is supposed to freak the fuck out because it's Darrell but we know he's going to be okay.

Out of the four they have captured the only one that would get it is Rosita and they're not going to do that because they're obviously building things up for her with the whole Abraham/Sasha relationship (I guess they could tie it up in the finale but it seems like they have something planned there). My guess is Carol. They always put a strong focus on main characters before they die and they've been zeroing in on her a lot lately... you can tell her time is just about up. I've actually been expecting her to die for the last several episodes. Either that or Neagen seemingly beats someone to death with his bat (probably Glenn or Darrell) but in the season premier we'll find out they're still alive.

I was watching the news this morning and they reported that BvS was #1 at the box office (duh) but had bad critical reviews.  They said it had a 29% on Rotten Tomatos.  And it still does as of now.  lol  Do people really expect most super hero movies to be masterpieces?  They should just be fun, a little corny and have a lot of action/explosions and it is all good.

You just described the Expendables movies.

Then my answer is yes... yes, I expect every superhero movie to be better than Expendables.

If a doctor ever tries to put you on Prednisone, think very strongly about it before you actually take it. I was on it for a little over a week, and it completely cleared up my horrible case of eczema. However, it's really got me fucked up with anxiety. And it's not even like they're anxiety attacks because that would imply that the anxiety stops at some point. It's just constant.

And along with that, it's given me suicidal thoughts for absolutely no reason. Like, they just show up for a second, and then I'm like "What the fuck was that?!"

Seriously, google the side effects before taking it. The only thing my doctor warned me about was slight insomnia and retaining water weight.

TLDR - I don't think I'm as chill as I used to be.

Shit just affects people differently. I took accutane when I was 13 to clear up my acne. It worked great and I didnt feel like killing myself even though they took it off the market because people said it gave them suicidal thoughts. Pretty sure as a teenager having acne makes you have suicidal thoughts. A kid in Tampa even flew his prop plane into a building downtown and his parents blamed it on accutane. I call bull shit.

I have also taken prednisone and had no side effects, but I rarely have side effects to any meds. Im just being snarky.

TLDR: mental health side effects are just an excuse you pussy!

Geez pitfall. Thanks for the heads up. Will make sure to stay far away from that shit. Hope you feel better soon.

I am lucky. I have been on that shit before and other then some acne it doesn't seem to bother me too much.

Guess cause I am already not chill it has no effect on me.

Thanks, wren. I'll be sure to end a suicide note with "Signed, Pussy."
Sorry man, if you really are having those thoughts. You just got to keep thinking of your daughter. And all the money. The money should help. Maybe you need a part time job to keep you busy. I am pretty sure we all think about death and suicide from time to time when life gets rough but 99.9% of us work through it. You will too, with or without the meds.

Or just take some painkillers and drink more alcohol. That usually helps me.

I have weird reactions to drugs. Sleeping pills and caffeine both have no effect on me and I didn't notice any change when taking Valium (Lasik) or Oxycodone (wisdom teeth removal.) The few times I've tried pot it either barely affected me or I had a full-body buzzing sensation (which was great!)

Wait, withdrawal from Prednisone? What kind of a dose did they give you man? It really shouldnt be that powerful to cause withdrawal unless you have been on it for WAY too long.
I am not sure it is called withdrawl or not but you can have adverse reaction to quiting it cold turkey. Last time I was on it (7 or 8 years ago I guess) I was on 50mg to start. Was on that for a few weeks. Then was weened off half a pill or so either every week or every other week.

It is a nasty drug but used properly it can treat all sorts of issues.
