Slain is still getting bad reviews for the controls. This is the #1 review:

I was hoping it was just a KB+M issue but now I'm a lot more leery of the PS version if it ever arrives. Maybe they'll get their shit together.
They're responding to critcism but doing it in a really dumb way; they're trying to explain that it was a design decision to not have the game give you a control scheme because they want players to figure it out on their own. They did give an image with the controller layout but didn't provide KB info. The controller layout is just bizarre too:Soundtrack : A+
Visuals : A+
Controls : D-
Slain has potential; but they need to do at least two things to make this game playable
1) You need to at least TELL US what the control options are even if you aren't going to let us map them!! I have no idea what any of the controls are on my keyboard NOR my game controller. There's literally no way to tell what the controls are! At one point it gives you the helpful advice "Spirit bombs are useful against crowds of enemies" how do you do a spirit bomb? WHO KNOWS?!
2) The keyboard support is so bad I would say this game needs a warning that a game controller is recommended. As this is currently a PC game they NEED to support Mouse + keyboard theres really no reason on earth this isn't possible in a Unity 3D game these days.
The control issue is so bad that when using the keyboard the only way I know how to quit the game is hit CTR-ALT-DELETE for task manager and quit it like that.. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Is there a way to properly quit? WHO KNOWS?
