Played through the first act of Quantum Break yesterday. The shooting/time powers are great fun and the story is good so far. As I expected all along, though, this whole inserting episodes of a TV show is dumb. Those portions are actually higher quality than you'd expect.. but I'm trying to play a game. I like watching TV and I like playing games, but I have no interest in jumping back and forth from the two. I guess it's not totally different from playing an MGS game with 20+ minute cut-scenes. Interesting idea that I'm willing to stick with, but no way is that going to take off as a popular thing in gaming.
Also played some Enter the Gungeon. It's awesome. Seems like there is a lot of fun stuff to discover. It doesn't look like you can save the game in the middle of a run, though (unless I'm missing something). It can take a chunk of time progressing through each floor so this is disappointing (my gaming schedule is pretty erratic). I made it to the third level after a few attempts. Anyone know how many there are supposed to be total?
